Hi there! I must say that I looooove this story. You actually get a really interesting plot going here, and just when we think a question is answered... two more spring up in its place. Argh! *grin* And the scene between the two of them is just pure sensuality, you can just feel the connection they already share. Very nicely done. Where is the sequel, pray tell?

What must I say to make it known to you that you are deserving of way more then 9 reviews? This story is incredible. Your characters were in character, your descriptions were poignant and vivid. Your emotions were real and heart breaking. Your writing style was engaging. I can't believe that more people have not read and praised this story for the talent that it is. Believe me, I have read D/G fiction for a very long time, and most of the time, the calibre of writing is very, very low. But you have raised the bar, and I wish this story was better known, because it deserves to be recognized for the wonder it is.

wow...just...wow. You have a real gift for writing! I could barely leave this for anything, sleep, food, bathroom, whatever. I'm curious as to where I can fin the sequels, as they aren't posted on this site, yet. Kudos on a job well done!

You have a great story in your hands.
I mean.... it was.... awesome!!!
I just wished I could read more about Draco. I'm not saying that what Ginny had to say was boring on the contrarie it was great. But still a part of me wishes to see more of Draco.
Now for the sequel when is this going to happen? I hope it does. You cannot leave us with all these hopes, dreams, nightmares and illusions hanging on a line!!!

No. It can't be over, right at this monumental cliffhanger. I think I might just die. The tears first started coming when Snape said "there are those people who will never be saved," or whatever. Then you got my hopes up, along with Snape's, but I daren't hope, I daren't....It CAN'T be over.

Ohmigosh. This fic is so good. I'm touched. You've handled everythng so beautifully; G and D's rendezvous in the luggage compartment, the picture he drew of her (so original!), and Ron and Draco's similar words.
But above all, the tone of your fic is just perfect. It's so melancholy, and it captures what a dark person I think Ginny is on the inside (which is why we tend to ship her with Draco, I think), and the desperation that prevails in book 5. I must go keep reading!

Wow! I'm in the middle of this story, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. I had been searching and searching for another good D/G fic, and was sick of finding stupid D/G-by-numbers fics, or ones that had nothing to do with anything except, well, sex, and then somehow, I found yours! I really love your Draco and Ginny's chemistry...it's not like all those silly fics where they're just attracted to each other and that's that...yours actually see something in each other, but can't reconcile what they might feel with what they know of the other. I also like the fact that they haven't kissed (yet).
There's more that I like. You really managed to work this fic believably into canon. I'm impressed. And then, your Ron is great...so often in D/G fics Harry gets paired with Hermione, and Ron gets brushed off as stupid or a traitor or just unimportant as he goes off gallivanting with Lavendar. But I love your Ron. He's worthy of JKR's.

This was an amazing, beautiful, wonderful story. I loved how you worked everything around OotP canon, and just the tone and feel of the story was amazing, without even mentioning the gorgeous writing. And- my favorite part- how utterly realistic and unoptimistic it was, with no one riding into the sunset. I'll stop raving now, I just wanted to say that this was an excellent, excellent story!

I read this story on Essence of Valor and was enthralled. I understand that you've tried to keep the same atmosphere as 'Rising from Ashes' and you've done it so well. I've been eagerly reading your sequel, 'Heavenly Creatures', and I'm so pleased you've decided to post here.
This is a wonderful story and I urge everyone to read it.
