I can't believe I've never read this. Really ideal balance of sultry and background info, and your pacing made me believe everything was rushing right back to Draco. Excellent one shot.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it. This was very fun but a little angsty to write.

Awww, such a cute story! There definitely was that angsty/sad element, that wistfulness as Draco recalled his memories, but I'm glad it ended on a happy note, especially with Ron's outrage.

There were a bunch of lines I particularly liked, but I can't seem to get them to copy and paste. The one about how rare it is for Malfoys to be speechless, and Ginny's amazement that it only took two meters of ribbon to get him that way, made me lol. And poor Draco being all sulky because he thought Ginny hadn't got him a gift! XD

It was a very enjoyable read. Thank you for sharing! n_n

Author's Response: I've never really done angst before so this was a challenge, even if it was a bit unexpected since I didn't plan for angst at all. Draco is such a spoiled only-child sometimes. I could see him very clearly throwing an inner tantrum about Ginny forgetting his present. I'm really glad you liked it. It's high praise coming from you. You write some of my favourite stories. Thank you!

LOVE!! This is a great fic. It covers so many bases-- Draco and Ginny's shared history, what drew them together, what pushed them apart, and why and how they finally reunited. It all feels so believable, and it unfolds in such a logical way. LOVE the fact that their first kiss happened because Ginny was trying to irritate Ron... but then the relationship then became more, very quickly. And I love the fact that both of them didn't commit to it right away, actually (kept flirting with others, etc.,) because I think that's what would have really happened. By the end, we know that their reunion had to happen. And it's too funny that Ron only THEN figures out that they were ever together!!

so-- great job, and I hope to see much more from you! :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you loved it. It's high praise coming from you. The catalyst for their first kiss was the prompt requested by LooneyLunaFan - she wanted Ginny to be rebelling against Ron. I feel like they would have kept seeing other people as well. I'm really glad you liked it. Thanks for telling me what you think. I hope to write more too but you know...life and such.

A lovely and sweet holiday fic. I could definitely see how d and g could work this way - secret affair and break up all. I like that they broke up and did what they had to do separately. I feel like they appreciate what they had and now they've grown up enough to learn to live with their differences. They have a better chance now. Also, how cute is Ron - still angry about Draco? Love that detail.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it. I feel like they probably didn't communicate enough in the first relationship to realize that they both had stronger feelings for each other. That was probably a result of their immaturity and the chaos of the impending war. Now they can have it all and torment poor, adorable Ron with it. Thanks for telling me your thoughts.
