Many years ago, Draco Malfoy made a choice that led him very far away from Ginny Weasley, and the life that they might have shared. But not only is it hopeless to fight fate, its paths have a strange way of turning when you least expect them to, as a very unexpected person later learns...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter FOURTEEN Quote of the Day:
“It can’t be worse than going to Romania. James is getting worse by the day. Lily doesn’t care about anything but her broom. And Mum and Dad—“ Albus breaks off.
Ginny. Scorpius can feel his face stiffen, and he has to conjure a coughing fit to cover it. Incredible how simply hearing of her, not even hearing her name, is enough to cause that stab of feeling in him. Just when he thinks that he’s over that sort of thing entirely—
“The point is, I’m so glad I can go with you,” sighs Albus.
Maybe I ought to wish that you couldn’t, thinks Scorpius. For your own good.
How very miserable and haunted past decisions can make a person...in this case though is it more than just a choice not chosen?
Author's Response: Yeah... but you'll see more as you read. :)
I've never read this before and the quote from the latest chapter drew me in and then that curious warning about Scorpius an I'm just really excited to see how this unfolds! First chapter and I'm thinking 'let me stay! let me stay in this universe' Looking throught Scorpius' eyes is amazing! Off to the next chapters! :)
Author's Response: Thanks! There will be more soon, too.
This is the story of what happens when husbands give their wives a hard time.Category: Long and Completed
I think you should know that i'm having a ball reading this! It's really quite entertaining!
Author's Response: Oh, good! I'm so glad you like it, and thanks for the review! :)
Ginny Weasley thought her life was going well, until the day Harry kicked her out. What will happen when she has a surprising saviour?Category: Works in Progress
Your Draco is soooooo charming I want to cry hahahahaha and he loves loves food I don't think I've encountered a food loving!Draco outside of peanut-butter-loving!Draco hahaha I really like the idea of MNZ too :) Lovely chapter!
Author's Response: Haha, thank you! I always thought Canon!Draco would be charming but the circumstances never called for it so we never got to see it (or maybe I was hoping ^_^). I fear his food-loving thing might be me projecting onto him. I'm a foodie. :D Thank you for your lovely review. I hope you will continue to read and give me your feedback.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN QUOTE:
I sighed and went to the door, removing the deadbolt that I had put in, and opened it without even looking. I gasped when I saw who it was.
I figure that Draco is being genuine but I can't help but be suspicious because he kept saying her name and that's totally manipulative behavior but anyways :)) I like that they're getting to the same page and Ginny does need something honest though may or may not be true (?) she can believe in from Draco. She doesn't give in to him. Good for her! But I also like how both of them are thrown when it comes to each other and I suppose eventually they'll find some middle ground maybe. I just really really like the title of this fic right now :) How We Pretend to Feel. Sooooo feeling it. Thanks lovely! :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I am not going to say whether or not he's being honest, but I will say that he is still a Slytherin. We mustn't forget that. ;) And I actually debated over the title of this story. I had three chapters written before I knew what I was going to call it, so I'm /so/ glad you like it. I think it's appropriate for this story because there's a whole lot of pretending going on with a lot of characters... and that may or may not be a hint of some kind ;). Thanks a million for your review, darling!

Stop calling her love Draco! I...I cannot.
Oh please do continue, this is soooo intriguing and of course he blackmails her, what was I thinking? Perhaps though maybe only in the beginning?
The suspense is killing me.
Thank you :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review! I don't liked to give much away in my responses, but I will tell you that her reasons do change over the course of the story. I will try to update soon, and I'm glad you're interested. :)

Epilogue Quote of the Day:
He struggled to prop himself up on an elbow. “Lovegood—Luna-- do you remember being… I really don't have the least idea how to explain this… somewhere else?”
“Somewhere that looked like King’s Cross Station?” asked Luna.
“Yes!” Draco tried to sit up all the way and failed, flopping back down onto the bed.
A thoughtful look came over her face. “I think that I do, but I don’t believe that anyone else does. Maybe it’s better that way.”
“Probably. Look, uh… where’s Ginny?”
“She’s not ready to see you just yet,” said Luna. ”Here’s a napkin.”
“I don’t care about a napkin! Where’s Ginny?”
I don't know! This is trippy! And and alkdhgfhs So maybe in the world they know they're somehow dead-ish and this is their consciousness wondering into other realities trying to get back to the one they 'belong' in? Harry is their Dumbledore :)) The unreal world falls apart when they get closer but maybe the opposite happens for the real one? I like it :))
It should have been another routine morning for Ginny Potter. With her children now all at Hogwarts and her Auror husband off chasing England's latest serial killer, she expected to wake up alone with only a silent house to greet her. Instead, Ginny makes a shocking discovery in her bed that is only the beginning of a whirlwind of unbelievable events. Things will never be the same again.Category: Works in Progress
Ecstatic to find out more of what's going on. I feel kind of terrified for the little boy though :))
Author's Response: Hopefully, I haven't traumatized him too much :P. Thanks for the review! Happy to hear it managed to pull you in.
Working for the Department of Mysteries teaches Draco Malfoy many things: Play the man. Everyone lies. Collateral damage is inevitable. But when he's the man being played and Ginny Weasley becomes collateral damage - well, you know what they say. All's fair in love, war, and hard and dirty politics.Category: Works in Progress
Oh. Well, see, I'd give up a couple years off my life to see this fic finished if like, you know, this opening chapter is anything to go by :)) Just really really intrigued and so much to learn about your Draco and Ginny and this version of the Wizarding World you've created for them! Can't wait! Take care! Really looking forward for more :))
Author's Response: If it were possible for beads of gratitude to travel electronically through the screen, know that I am radiating much gratitude your way right now. I'm mad humbled by your kind review and I hope the next chapters keep up to your expectations.

Ginevra Weasley has woken up in an alternate reality, but no one else seems to have noticed - not even her fiance. Now she has to travel to the past to get her future back.Category: Works in ProgressThis gorgeous artwork was created by Hannah Askance.
I completely adore what you have up so far! I must confess though that I looked up the one on ffn and I'm just really excited to see the rest of this unfold. Your Ginevra's reaction to Harry is priceless as is Harry's to his Ginny threatening with unforgivables. ;) Fantastic work!
Author's Response: Haha, very sneaky. I'm glad you like it, thanks for reviewing!
It looked like we were photographed at gun point so I had to laugh.Category: Works in Progress
Can I just say that I loved how you let their history sort of unfold? I mean I didn't initially know their relation-if they had one so I kept guessing ohhh who's the groom that G has to just come? And Draco to Then Oh my, Astoria has a ring, so DG do have history so they were involved, oh gods! they were married! and it hurts and hurts and I sort of cried a little bit because the DG you have here have so so so much between them. Live things too. I really liked Blaise and Astoria. So looking forward to the rest of it. :)I liked the lyrics too.
Author's Response: tenna, I'm very happy to hear that! That's exactly what I was aiming for, and at one point I worried that it was overdone and people would lose interest halfway through reading this opening chapter, so I'm glad it wasn't the case with you. You said "Live things too", and you're absolutely right. No one is over anyone here! I'm also very happy that you liked Astoria, as that is also something I was hoping would happen! It's easy to just make into some uber biatch that we can all love to hate, but it adds an extra layer to the whole thing if she's actually someone who's perfectly nice but who happens to be completely wrong for Draco just because Ginny exists! Happy you liked it, thanks so much for reviewing!
Hahaha farthest thing from boring! And I think that enough happens ummm gosh where do I begin? The beginning of the chapter could have been cliche I think but it just was not the case. I loved the bit with Molly and what she says. And then Astoria mentioning having babies...:( Gin agreeing to a date seemed like it was only prompted because Marcus was there and oh I love the bit with Theo. It was like you first mentioned Theo and Hermione sort of casually through Molly then here you add more intriguing details and it makes me curious. Not only what happened there but you know Ginny and her life with Draco and his friends which makes me wonder about her own friends? And by the time Draco shows up, it doesn't really end quietly because hahahaha not with these two. Like you said no one's over anyone and the moment they're in the same room it inevitably shows which makes me think the three years apart were more of avoidance? :) I can't shut up, I just love this so much like I don't even really mind so much that they're supposed to be divorced because they keep holding on to things about the marriage and each other in little ways which you've shown! And I can just imagine what's behind the scenes oh oh oh The end bit makes my heart ache but all is well :) Narrative is way gorgeous as always. Last, I totally agree with you about Astoria, she would be perfectly nice and maybe even fitting, just not in a world where Ginny exists and is sooooo it for Draco and vice-versa. Take care and thank you! :)
Author's Response: Tenna, thank you for another lovely review! I think your impressions are spot on. Your question about Ginny's own friends is a good one -- where are they? I think that this marriage ended for many reasons, and the conspicuous absence of anyone in Ginny's life who is unrelated to Draco might be a clue in that sense. More on this in the next chapter.Thank you again! ^_^
When her family perished in the great wizarding war, Ginny turned her back on the magical community and eeked out a life for herself in the muggle world. Struggling to make ends meet, Ginny seeks to escape her hum-drum life and a throwaway comment from Draco galvanises her into action. Afraid of losing her, Draco intervenes and nothing ends up going to plan.Category: Works in Progress
I'm enjoying this sooooo much you have no idea! I actually haven't read D/G in prolly over 2 years and this feels like coming home :)
looking forward for more! :) thank you!
