Honestly, I LOVE YOU for ALL of these points!! Its extremely irritating to see people making these mistakes...you don't even need to attend high school to make some of these corrections!
But above all THANK YOU for underlining the rape-fic issue. Those fics annoy me to NO END! It doesn't take a psychiatrist to realise that a rape victim jumps up and down and have sex right after s/he's been sexually abused. Ew to those writers.
And also something that sort of falls under this catagory; eating disorders. I've dealt with that shadow, and in EVERY fic I've read it's some whiny girl with a romantic notion of a knight in shining armor saving her ending up being the author. Again, it's not too hard to figure out the psyche of somebody with an eating disorder or cancer. And some "writers" flaunt these diseases about as some glamour which harnesses yummy men. I don't know who they talked to, but whoever it was LIED.
So thank you so so much for these pointers! I loved the Mary Sue survey btw. :D

The dark and tragic story of a journey Under...based on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.
No no noo you did not do that!! *sigh* you did. I absolutely adore Greek mythology, and how they play with desire and love and greed and vulnerability, and love Orpheus and Eurydice and Echo and Narcissus the most, so I wanted to read this as SOON as I saw it. And I was reading. And reading. And by the middle I thought maybe you’d loosely based it upon the original myth, just so you could have them fall in love in the underworld, and then Draco would decide not to live. But noo he said yes. So then I thought you’d let them live.
The “trial”, if you will, with Persephone and Hades was awesome. I honestly don’t know how else to describe it. I love how the gods and goddesses are made human with their relationships and deeds, and I love how you incorporated every bit of that, as well as Ginny’s questioning and the falling in love bit were every ounce believable and not too sugary sweet as all :D And then the smut scene (although I hate to use that word in this case) so ok, when they made love; ohhh beautiful scene. Usually the writer botches it up by making Draco a sex fiend for his first time, abd you didn’t!! I’m happy. So anyways then you killed Draco. Again. Gosh that was a great fic. Melancholy and sadddd but I thought for the briefest moment that you were not going to kill him. It’s probably better that you didn’t change the myth too much, although if you did write some sort of alternate ending…my email…you could send it…:)

I nearly lost my little cousin last month, and lost another two years ago, and they barely diagnosed the both of them. My cousin who passed wasn't supposed to live to see 5, but she lit up our lives to the age of 11! So I've seen what this situation does to everyone, and thank you so much for having the strength to post this up. It was really heartfelt.

gahhh that was fantastic!! I read the first chapter and didn't realize there was a second one, and got really sad, but then I saw the "Next" button and screamed in delight!! I really lovvve this story, and loved (like "kissed my computer screen and then hastily wiped it"-loves) the childrens' reaction to Ginny and Harry's impending and necessary divorce. Ambiguous ending, I agree, but you should make another chapter with Ginny finally running into Draco's arms! I loved all of the characters, and Narcissa's reference to her sex-life (and Ginny's reaction) was HILARIOUS!!

Fantastic job!! I really liked how you moved from scene to scene, and the imagery you placed in the scene. You did a good job at making the characters believable (there are too many Hogwarts fics where they act like they're a couple in their 30s rather than teens!!) but you perfectly portrayed it, and had I loved how their relationship developed : )
The one critique I'd give, is sometimes in certain scenes their thoughts got in the way of the flow, or they would say something unnecessary which the reader can infer (ie. the part in the kiss scene in the parenteses...although I really loved that scene, and how it was "chaste"!!)
