I am impressed by how well you brought forward the influences from the other books and integrated them seamlessly into this story. Well done! This is the first fanfic I ever read in the Draco/Ginny ship and, unfortunately for many of the other stories out there, the one I use as my 'yardstick' to see how they measure up. The High Clan, the Veil, and the characterizations of the protagonists have brought me back to read more than once. Thank you.

Hhmmm. "Fluffy, among other things." I guess this was NOT the fluff. I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter...didn't like either of them very much. She was "punishing" him in a very manipulative way and though she gave him tacit (and verbal) permission, it was still rape when she said no. Hopefully you'll let them work it out, but you've got your work cut out for you!

Of course, out of all that nonsensical rambling, the male of the species would pick up on the fact that she's going to shag some other male and get jealous. None of the rest means anything to him? He just learned that he's an immortal, for god's sake!
Hhhmm. The intimation here is that she's going to die, but I hope that you're going to follow more of a 'Cupid and Psyche' plot line rather than truly killing her off. 'Twould be a shame after all her work and angst. Hey, c'mon...in Tam Lin the lady gets the knight even though the Queen of the Fairies is angry! So...she's got to hold on to him even though he's 'changing' into different monsters (well, at least different psychological monsters)? Poor Ginny...

Though I find the interaction between Lucius and Ginny disturbing (rape, especially spousal rape, is horrifying and disgusting) I'm sure you've just been setting the stage. I assume the unknown gentleman that Ginny gave her virginity to was Draco out on a "get away from Lucius" jaunt. Interesting premise!

You are doing well with the anatomy (it's the brachial artery, by the way) and with the ethical dilemma faced by Ginny (one that many in the medical profession face). I wonder, though, at the abrupt 'about face' in her behavior when Lucius takes her dragon, especially given that Taylor is in the room and she normally is so controlled. Would she really be that forthcoming to Lucius and to Draco? It's a bit of a characterization 'blip' for me.
