Ginny is one of the few surviving Weasleys after the War. With little money to her name, she has been working a low end job at a nearby restaurant to pay for her Healer training. It's been a long four years, but she has finally made it and earned her license. Problem is: there's only one position available, and the very idea of it is appalling. Slightly AU.Category: Long and Completed
NOOO!! Not the Blaise Zabini charm! No one can escape that (in all seriousness). Please update soon to keep the restless readers from dithering too long!!
Author's Response: Haha! Thank you for reviewing!
Decent conversation eh? Sounds more like the initial stages of flirting to me... even if it was about detestable personalities :)-YAY (Still worried about THE Irresistable Zabini Charms however...) Please update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'll be updating quick as I can!
Yessss!! Take THAT Blaise... :P The ending of this chapter was beyond perfect and I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Lol! Thank you! I'll post again in the next day or two!
Hmmm. What to say what to say... It was an AMAZING twist in plot for starters. I'm so happy Blaise didn't actually like Ginny. I honestly couldn't tell that he didn't like her by the way their interactions were written in previous chapters (very stealthy/crafty btw :P). Blaise is definitely nothing short of a conning character so I hope we see more of him in future chapters.
The best part about this chapter however were Draco's reactions. They suite his character perfectly given the parameters of the story. I can't wait to read about his next encounter with Ginny! (I have a tiny suspicion that Pandora's box will be opened in the next few chapters - can't wait!)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed it! There will definitely be no shortage of Blaise, or interesting encounters with Ginny, I can guarantee that! I'll be posting again very soon!
I love how his sneaky plan is already working :) Please update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
I really hope something happens to fix Ron. This chapter is bitter sweet because of Harry and Hermione's presence sans Ron. He doesn't get to see his sister make her own choices or be happy yet his best friends do :( (Poor Ron). Can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
I'm on Ginny's team in this chapter :)
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!
This chapter was the juiciest by far if that makes any sense. Finally Draco realized he was really inconsiderate!! (YAY)
Though I hope Ginny doesn't wig out again in the next chapter. It's a bit difficult to relate to her when she has crying fits right after she resolves to be strong. But then again it might just be her type of character to do that.
All in all- loved the chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
The story was 100% cute overload!!
I really liked the diplomatic ending where there is no hair instead of blond or red :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I kind of have this vague idea that Laurence's hair will be very much blond, but with Draco's perfect hair and vain personna, I just thought it would be so funny for his baby to be bald when he was born.
COMPLETE! Yey! A woman of society, Astoria Malfoy nee Greengrass, has been brutally murdered - is it the money, revenge, or mindless rage? Any of those motives would automatically result in suspecting her husband.Category: Long and Completed
Chief Investigator of Manslaughter Squad, Auror Potter is personally in charge of the investigation, but it is Ginevra Weasley, a rookie Auror of Morality Guard, who brings in the man Potter is looking for – Draco Malfoy.
This is soooo intense!!! My theory is that Blaise got really desperate to get his wife back.. lol But who knows at this point. I will faithfully come back to recheck for new chapters :)
As long as Astoria had the same loose morals (I try to convince myself), I think I can accept Draco's character.
Author's Response: Well, there's always more to a marriage than morals, isn't there? Feelings for instance. Some of them selfish and some hurt.
My oh my. This is making my brain overload. The killer could have been anyone at this point :S
Author's Response: That was the point. Thanks for stroking my ego. ;)
Nooooo!!! Where's chapter four? There is another body ... now what? I have to know what happens!
Author's Response: Soon, very, very soon. ;)
I hope the aurors find him! Swim little fellow, swim for your life!!
Ginny Weasley was on a mission: get Draco Malfoy's attention or die trying. She would prefer to skip the dying part, though…Category: Long and Completed

Very funny! I definitely was in a similar mind frame when I was that age. You captured the personalities well!!
Author's Response: Thank you. It was quite odd for me trying to get my head around characters so young, so I'm glad you feel they actually seemed like very young teenagers.
When Ginny and Draco battle for the title of Supreme Poker Overlord, not everything is as it seems.Category: Completed Short Stories
This would be a great fic to do a sequel for! Nice twist with the cheating bit :P
Everyone has at least one rival. Draco Malfoy's just happened to be a house.Category: Completed Short Stories
Cute :) Fluff always brightens a day.
Author's Response: Mine too. I'm afraid I have a weakness for fluff. *laughs*
Thanks for the review. ^_~
To Draco’s great delight, Ginny is properly introduced to her hormones.Category: Works in Progress
You captured the teen-aged mind perfectly in this chapter! Can't wait for the next chapter.
Ah yes -witty banter will get you every time.
A grownup Ginny reflects on her childhood romance with Draco. Will a wish on a star make her dreams come true, or is Draco destined to remain just a passionate memory?Category: Completed Short Stories
That IS a nice Christmas present :)
Skeptical of Muggle Christmas traditions, Ginny writes her own letter to Santa, unaware of the surprise that awaits her under the tree.Category: Completed Short Stories
Good job Santa! PERFECT present for Ginny :) This is a light and charming story that got a few giggles out of me (and giggles are hard to come by :P), particularly from the character reactions/thoughts. Nicely done
Author's Response: Thank you very much! If only Santa could give us the same present... ^^
Ginny had wanted it to be perfect. Draco had wanted it to be over. But no one can guarantee they'll always get what they want, even at Christmas.Category: Completed Short Stories
The "crazy must haves" were done very well! I really liked it particularly for the creativity put into the plot and details. :)
Author's Response: Thank you. I can't claim the "crazy must haves", but I certainly had fun inserting them in my story.
Category: Completed Short Stories25-year-old Ginny Weasley is a reporter for the Daily Prophet but her current assignment to write a story about a clinic for war survivors and its anonymous benefactor will turn her world upside down.
Chapter 5 Quote:
In a moment she had grabbed her wand and was dashing to the fireplace, tossing Floo Powder into the flames.
“Lucy! Lucy, I need to talk!”
Her head was poking into Lucy’s dark kitchen. Apparently, her friend had much thicker curtains. After several minutes of shouting, Ginny was relieved to see a hassled looking Lucy sulk into the kitchen.
“If you aren’t bleeding, I swear to Merlin….” Lucy grumbled, rummaging around in a cabinet and extracting a tea kettle.
The stories that start off with a bit of drama are usually the best :) I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this one - it was a great first chapter! Please update soon.
Author's Response: Thanks and I hope you're still reading!
I really liked the plot in this fic, fast paced and all. You absolutely nailed the fire and ice characters that we all love. They only thing that struck me as slightly off was Ginny's maturity. She had some mannerisms of her teenager self (heated/dramatic) rather than her mid-20s self (passionate/self control).
Though all in all it is an enjoyable read. Can't wait to read more stories!!!
Pushing her hair away from her face, he stared at her from behind his silver mask. His grey eyes were cold and lifeless but enticingly beautiful. Unaware of what she was doing, she raised her hand to touch his mask, causing him to jerk backwards and let go of her face.Category: Works in Progress
These characters are great! Can't wait to read more - update as soon as possible!! Loved this chapter to pieces.
