Ginny Weasley, her family, life and loves. A 10x100 I wrote for Adrith. Hints at multiple Ginnyships, but ultimately a definite and resounding D/G.Category: Completed Short Stories
This, quite simply, is a masterpiece.
It's Halloween. Guess what Ginny's going as?Category: Completed Short Stories
*Blissful sigh*
Still one of my very favourites; I never get tired of re-reading it.
You're a master, darl!
Rock bands at Hogwarts! Blossoming romance! And you would not believe what can be done with an oboe. A total guilty pleasure fic that is nowhere near complete.Category: Works in Progress
*Just had brainwave*
And they're rare, so feel honoured!
Draco's band should do The Living End's Prisoner of Society. (They're a kickass band from Melbourne. I think the song came out c.1997)
"'Cause I'm a brat
And I know everything and I talk back,
And I'm not listening to anything you say!"

We now return to your regular scheduled programming/waiting for updates.
This counts as you being amazingly awesome in every way!
*bliss*
I love the way you skirted around the question of band names :D
You've put a huge smile on my face in the middle of a long, stressful weekend. You're a legend. Thank you.
A vignette of Draco noticing Ginny. Will it someday connect to a larger fic? I don't know, but I think this little bit stands alone.Category: Completed Short Stories
*Sigh*
I love this so.
"It's hard to play a gig in this town
and keep a straight face" I imagine that line of the song as Draco's. It's hard for him to watch her and keep up a stoic face. Although I'm pretty sure the song's called "Rockabye". That's the title it was released under in Oz, at any rate.
The death of a family member is a tragic thing, but you get over it. It's a sad thing when someone can't.Category: Completed Short Stories
How can something so short and seemingly simple be so sad?
Beautifully and heartbreakingly written. I applaud you.
A Vesica/Mynuet Collaboration. If Ginny had even the slightest inkling of what the day would bring, she probably would have called in sick. A disastrous press conference proved to be no match for the spin doctoring talents of Lush's chief and Ginny finds herself catapulted from being a lowly intern to the very eye of the storm, living a double life as a careerwitch and glamorous front woman for a racy new line. Throw in a few A-list events, a few dozen crises, an endless promotional tour with her new co-worker and the last person she wanted to spend time with, and a mystery waiting back home that neither of them may be able to solve….Every day's an adventure when you're living the Lush Life!Category: Works in Progress
*Yet more flailing*
Stupendous, I love the way Draco interracted with her in this chapter. The Yule Ball date bit was hilarious, and Mister Snuggles gets my vote for best incidental mention of character past. I like to think Bill & Charlie saved up their pocket money and bought him for her.
*Is on tenterhooks*
Author's Response: Ves says: The tenterhooks sound kind painful..unless you like that sort of thing. ;) And hooray for Mister Snuggles!! If only they actually gave out awards for “best incidental mention of a character past”. I love your suggestion…that would have been sweet of them. I hereby proclaim it…Lush Life canon.
Myn says: I agree. Remind me and I\'ll write a drabble about it.
Delicious! Super secret meetings with Draco? One can only hope. I'm so proud of Ginny's new job. I think it deserves a flail. So does Draco's work-ethic-pride - so cute!
Author's Response: Ves says: We are too!! It’s nice to see smart and competent women move ahead – in the real world or in fic! And super SUPER secret meetings - *eyebrow wiggle*
Myn says: *flails for Ginny*
The Weasley family gathers to remember loved ones gone. *Please read/heed the warnings and read the author's note.*Category: Completed Short Stories
Sweet Salazar, that was...beautiful. So very moving.
**Completed** Ginny can't figure out why Draco is watching her all the time. When both of them lose parts of their families, they are forced together. But Ginny still has to deal with Tom & his obsession with her. Sorry guys, I'm awful at summaries!Category: Long and Completed
Have I ever mentioned how much I love, adore, nay, swoon over your Draco?
Your characterisation of him is perfect every time.
Draco Malfoy, beleaguered sex god, meets his match.Category: Completed Short Stories
My favourite fic of all time.
Harry and Hermione need a break from the newest member of their clan. Ginny rescues them but who will rescue her when the Ice Prince of Slytherin shows up?Category: Completed Short Stories
*Contented sigh*
I could read this fic ten times a day and never tire of it. One of my favourite DG pieces EVER. Humorous, light without being saccharinely fluffy, and just a beautiful story.
You realise you've done nothing to quash my already over-active maternal instincts, right?
*Would totally agree to having 6 or 8 of those little wee things for Draco*
An impossible confrontation and a forbidden confession on an otherwise average Hogsmeade weekend.Category: Completed Short Stories
Lyndsie, my dear, that was simply brilliant.
Author's Response: Hehe, thanks. I totally forgot about this story. It\'s part of another one I was writing a long while back, that is unfortunately trapped on my non-function laptop - the hard drive is intact but I don\'t know when I\'ll be getting the files from it. And it\'s in Alaska.
I know I know who you are... are you Miran? *crosses fingers*
Draco kidnaps Ginny on the pretense of saving her. WARNINGS: angst, VIOLENCE, abuse, drama, smut, mean & evil Draco, and absolutely no happy endings what so ever!Category: Long and Completed
I'd always wondered, worried even, about how this story would end. It's brilliant and beautiful; your best ever. You couldn't have ended it any more perfectly. Thank you for writing a fantastic fic, the reading of which was a journey well worth embarking upon.
Author's Response: thank you. as you probably know, it took a really, really long time to get to that end!
Ficlet in which Ginny wonders when Draco will cease to call her "Weasley."Category: Completed Short Stories
This is impossible not to love. And I'm sure I love it more!
I could tell you that I regretted it. Regretted every moment I spent in his arms. I could tell you that I regretted it. That there was no nostalgia. I could tell you I was naïve, that he manipulated me. I could tell you I never wanted him. Never sought him out. I could tell you I regretted it, wished it never happened. That I never let him near me but that would be a lie.Category: Completed Short Stories
Id amo, id amo, id amo! (Latin for "I love it, I love it, I love it!")
She stayed. I have decreed it so.
Sweet Salazar, you're a fantastic writer! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad this is a one-shot - perfect, ambiguous ending. Keep up the charming work!
Author's Response: thank you very much for taking the time to review! im glad you liked it and hope you continue to like my work. :D
A story of flowers and intrigue and memories best forgotten. Ginny Weasley's Christmas holidays are haunting and confusing, as she is drawn to the presence of of an elusive and mysterious Draco Malfoy who is altogether too memorable for anybody's good.Category: Completed Short Stories
You *kill* me, you and your amazing writing, and your perfectly crafted angst. It's a stunning, delicate masterpiece of a story.
Excuse me while I scrape me heart off the floor and go off to cry somewhere.
Truly phenomonal.
Just a little drabble in which Draco contemplates Ginny's success as a Seeker.Category: Completed Short Stories
Wow. That was brilliant! Spot on characterisation. It's fics like this that make me wish I could play Quidditch...
Author's Response: Thank you! It was a fun drabble to write.
Narcissa Malfoy wants Draco married off-- and quickly! So, she chooses to send him to a date coach of sorts. What Narcissa wants, Narcissa gets! *Fun, fluff!*Category: Long and Completed
I was thinking just the other day how I'd love to see an update of this!
As always, wonderfully done.
But what's going to happen to Seamus?
*Gasp!*
;)
She never thought she'd end up here, with him.Category: Completed Short Stories
Someone else who writes depraved!Draco, hurrah! Really, really loved this. And loved the proof that I'm not the only disturbed one around here. I actually almost feel like my fic "Always Mine" could be a prelude to this. Hope that's not too presumptuous.
And for the record, the warnings were more than enough.
*COMPLETE* Destiny knew better than to bring these two together. One man, determined to draw back an errant Malfoy, is not so wise, and Ginny soon finds herself caught up in events that are not quite Fate.Category: Long and Completed
*Dies from the cliffhanger*
As good as ever, if not better. My love for Professor Pierce knows no bounds. Malfoy, sorry, Draco was excellent in this chapter. Can't wait for the next!
*Does first review dance*
I would argue that they are fool proof, as Neville got stuck outside, more than once, if memory serves.
Author's Response: True, but like I mentioned before, in book 3 Sirius also got IN. That makes them undeniably NOT fool proof.
Thanks Insomnia!
This story just keeps getting more and more interesting and intriguing. Even without any Pierce action in this chapter! I never expected Nott to talk to Ginny before he thought Draco had finished with her. I really like your characterisation of Theo. Nice to see the candle back too, I was wondering if it would make a reappearance. Life imitating art I guess, because the story is so absorbing I forgot to worry about Harry and co. as well!
Another great chapter! Good luck on your finals!
*Does the first review dance*
“It’s just like her perspective, only higher up.” - Best one-liner ever!
Oh, you more than did it justice. Phenomenal! Draco's denial was hilarious, and I loved the Firewhisky. Pierce is so very, very awesome.
Still one of my very favourites!
Updated - Squee!
First review - Squee!
Pierce backstory - Squee!
I didn't think I'd be able to cope with seeing Pierce with anybody who's not me, but Naomi was great. I lvoe how she knows she still wants him after all these years, and his rejection - it promises hope if Draco and Gin don't make it the first time around. Speaking of which, I love how distracted he was by her.
You've brightened my melancholic day! Then again, NQF always does,
