While this is a wonderful guide, I'd like to point out one minor mistake, and that is because it is a personal pet peeve of my own. Please feel free to check any online dictionary, but 'hung' is the past tense for 'hang' which is to suspend something from near its top. 'Hanged' is to be put to death on the gallows (and other such synonyms) or the act of killing someone by hanging them by the neck until dead. It can also be used as a reference to that particular means of suicide. I agreed with everything else you said - I just happen to be an English major.
