Playboy Auror, Draco Malfoy, collects women like some people collect stamps, until an unforunate incident with one woman. Turned virtual recluse, Draco is only lured back into the social world when his partner steps in and sets him up.Category: Long and Completed
*dies laughing* This is BRILLIANT. The whole urination scene had me rolling on the floor, and I can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Thanks! Poor Draco will never live that down ;)
Ginny is assigned to Draco's team at the Ministry.Category: Long and Completed
Oh, that was a mighty tasty chapter. I so love Prick!Draco.
You know that now I'm going to have to scamper off to the fic exchange so I can read the whole thing, right?
*applauds loudly* Wonderful job!
I LOVE the team in a capslocked, fangirly sort of way. You are so my hero right now for writing this!
Triple word score to Perse for PornoGran!Longbottom. I'm unredeemably corrupted now just from reading this chapter. ;P
GUH *revives enough to man the keyboard*
This is going straight to my favorites list, and congratulations on the best overall fic award- you really deserve it. This was amazing.
They’ve both been looking for something grand, but once they finally find it the war and family tragedy keep them apart. They want victory not only for the men and women dying… but so they can finally have their happy ending.Category: Long and Completed
Yay, Jess! I loved this story when you first sent it to me, and I still love it now. Wonderful, and totally deserving of the prize you won for it.
Author's Response: THANK YOU! I still think it wouldn\'t be the story it is without your awesome help! I\'m so glad you liked it. It was SO much work - but I\'m really happy with the way it turned out too! It was as much fun to write is as it was explaining the plot premise to you over IM. Thanks for all your help! ;)
Ginny finds that she is only attracted to men she can argue with.Category: Works in Progress
I am deeply ashamed. I love this story, and when I checked to see if I'd reviewed yet, I haven't. *hangs head* It's fabulous and perfectly funny. Your characters all have a delicious bite to them, an edge that takes things from amusing to laugh-out-loud hilarious. And Ginny's blowing up the lab is probably one of my top five favorite moments in D/G fic. Pure win.
Love the story so much and waiting anxiously for the next installment. -MBA
Author's Response: Thank you. I will forgive you for waiting to review. * wink
Oh, Draco, I understand why every woman in your life has turned abusive, you massively self-delusional idiot.
*grins* CCC, I'm prepared to beg and bribe for more of this story. It's wonderful.
"Can you pass me my scotch?" *snort*
Man, I love you. Really, honest-to-God love you. The Draco-Blaise convo was made of pure win.
... And because I am a greedy whiner, I logging my puppy-eyed plea for more of this story when you have the time. My love for it knows no bounds. I may have to propose. ;D
Boggarts reveal Ginny and Draco's greatest fears.Category: Works in Progress
*snicker* That was hilarious. I absolutely adored it, and if sinus infections weren't so awful, I'd suggest you get them more often for yummy little fics like this (but they are awful, so I won't. :)
Loved it!
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'d rather not get another one.
Valentine's Day brings a surprise, but not the one Ginny was hoping for.Category: Works in Progress
Is it bad form to bribe you for a new chapter? Because I am totally prepared to do that. :D
You have me at your mercy with this fic. I absolutely adore it and am readyto sacrifice my dignity for the next chapter.
On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, nine ladies dancing . . .Category: Completed Short Stories
"Dance with me, Weasley."
"Fine. But only to keep you safe from Mrs. Delacour."
This is the best Christmas story I've seen so far this year. I laughed so hard I almost fell off the chair. Brilliant job!
Author's Response: REALLY?!?! ACKKKK!!! *falls off chair*
Ginny and Draco exchange Christmas Stockings. Fluff abounds.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was adorable. Sweet, lovely fluff to brighten my day. *hugs* Happy holidays, seegrim!
And I think every husband and boyfriend on the planet is with Draco about the cashmere socks- I stick my cold little toes on my husband all the time, and he hates it! :D
Author's Response: Aw, thanks for reading, MBA! And I know--cold toes? *shudders* Merry Christmas to you, too! -seegrim
DH SPOILERS!! Three years after the war ends, the Malfoys are trying to make up for their past. What happens when they find out they have more to fix than they thought? And how exactly are the Weasleys involved?Category: Works in Progress
*hugs* Lovely. Thank you for making those edits- it really does make the chapter read even better (and secretly renews my faith that authors take concrit to heart). :D
One last little hint: When a character is addressed directly in dialogue, their name should be offset with commas (e.g.- "Thanks, Draco, I appreciate that," or "Ginny, I just stopped in to say hello.") Best of luck with the next chappie!
Author's Response: Thanks for all your help! Hopefully I\'ll get better at catching things like that as I go on.
Luna is desperate, and needs the help of her best friend. Who knew that the youngest Weasley could carry a tune, anyway?Category: Works in Progress
Because I dearly wanted to be the first review for this. I think this fic is great; you've got wonderful humor in Luna's character and a fun, involving scenario about to unfold. I can't wait to see the rest. Good luck! :D
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you love Luna, I really love writing her, but was afraid at first that people would be upset she\'s so OOC. I prefer to call it \"fulfilling her potential\" rather than \"OOC\" :)
“The six Galleons in my pocket and Professor Trelawney say I would.” - Brilliant line, absolutely brilliant. This story makes me smile so much, I can't even tell you. It's going straight onto my favs list.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you like it! :)
Confined to the castle, the students of Hogwarts are becoming a little unhinged. Truths are beginning to leak out... and someone is going to be clobbered for it. Short and sweetCategory: Completed Short Stories
Hee! This was adorable, and some of Harry's observations had me giggling (especially the 'pointy' storm cloud!), but Ginny's last lines (and delivery) had me rolling. What a fun little fic!
"Draco Malfoy is a widely acknowledged git." The discovery of an enigma.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was absolutely lovely, and even more so considering it's your first fic. The short, sharp paragraphs are just perfectly done.
Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Draco and Ginny discover that the truth is a funny creature, especially when you can’t lie successfully.Category: Long and Completed
You know what? I feel like a complete idiot for not having clicked on this story before.
It's absolutely delicious so far. Off to Chapter Two!
Author's Response: Thank you :) I hope you enjoy the rest!
The black alder tree had always enjoyed the visits from that slight, freckled girl with the strawberry hair that shone in the sunlight. But when she shows up one day, her heart clearly broken, the tree knew that everything had already changed. Voted for "Best Prose" on the Fall 2008 D/G Fic Exchange.Category: Works in Progress
Lovely so far- I think I may hop over to the exchange to read the whole thing. I particularly love the opening sequence from the tree's perspective- it was beautiful and quiet and haunting. Excellent job!
Ginny uses unusual methods to convince Draco to trade sides. (This is alternative Hogwarts era and takes place Draco's last year.)Category: Completed Short Stories
You know what? Your fics always have the very best quippy lines. I think I'm a little jealous. ;)
And hooray for you- I notice you seem to be edging your way into the smuttier side of D/G, aren't you? *winks*
Four years after The Battle of Hogwarts, Voldemort lives and the war is dragging on. With no end in sight, Draco is forced to take drastic action after receiving information that what he values most is in significant danger... his children.Category: Completed Short Stories
Even though I just this minute validated this, I wanted to come in and write you a review... because it was just that damn good. Beautiful little story, with the absolute perfect amount of repetition and symmetry between Draco's two 'meetings'.
Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I should write at 4am more often. :D
Once upon a time there lived a princess. She lived in an odd-looking castle far away in a land called Ottery St. Catchpole with her father, the king, her mum, the queen, and her six older brothers, the princes.Category: Completed Short Stories
Because this story deserves an immediate review- awesome job! It was hilarious, particularly Draco (both Ferret Draco and Prince Draco)... though I think I liked Ferret Draco just a tiny bit more.
Loved it!
Author's Response: Ferret Draco was so much fun to write, I love him, and I'm glad someone else does too!
“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”Category: Works in Progress
When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.
I just had to read the entire story so far after I validated this chapter, and I have to say- it's fantastic. Great. Wonderful. I adore the various love polygons that are forming up, particularly Lily-Scorpius-Rose.
Awesome job, and I can't wait for the next chapter! :)
Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! I'm flattered that you read it after checking my grammar (thankfully I started getting a beta lol)! Once again, thanks for your review!
All right, so I already reviewed, but I came back and read the others and just had to get it off my chest...
I'm hoping for a little Scorpius/Lily. They have some pretty good chemistry the way you've written them, and I'm not at all averse to some star-crossed D/G angst. There, I've said it. I'm in the vast minority, and am proud of it, dang it. :D
Author's Response: Glad you're proud. We need some differing opinions. They're called love triangles for a reason, dang it. ;) Thanks for the review! (again) :D
