Harry is dead; Voldemort won (or did he?); Ginny Weasley is all alone, left to the mercies of the Malfoy family.Category: Works in Progress
wooooow. what a surprise to randomly checking this site and seeing this fic was updated. I enjoyed the update, I find it pretty amazing that you decided to continue this fic.
*Completely AU* In a world where Voldemort was never defeated, only a few things matter: pureblood, money and power. All that Ginny Weasley wanted was to survive her 7 years at Hogwarts, a school where the children of the richest and most powerful wizards dominate over others. Denying her natural instincts, she managed to make it into her 6th year without offending any of the cruel and powerful Slytherins - especially that horrible Draco Malfoy. Until one day, she crosses a line, and her peaceful existence is shattered forever. A story filled with adolescent drama, clash of the classes, angst, jealousy, ridiculous pride and love triangles (and squares).Category: Works in Progress
BAH!
My heart's pounding in anticipation to see what happens.
Author's Response: Excellent!!
She understood chocolate, and people. But why couldn’t she understand him? He understood his fiancée. And his life and then she came along. However, one thing they both know is that one taste is not enough.Category: Long and Completed
I really really liked this story. I loved the characters and their personalities. And I really loved all of the chocolate descriptions and have the sudden desire to find a small chocolate shop somewhere.
But I think I wished I would've just stopped reading before the last paragraph. Or that I just knew what would happen with their baby and to Draco and Ginny themselves.
Time and space are fluid, they bend and twist according to specific rules. When the force of will can open up a singularity, it no longer follows those selfsame rules. And sometimes it's a girl that's the savior, not a boy.Category: Long and Completed
I have a tendency to read this fic after watching Firefly and/or Serenity. So here I am even now, rereading this lovely story.
Author's Response: Sorry I missed this! (I think the settings I have for receiving review notifications need to be tweaked...) Firefly is such a good show! I still love it to pieces and should write some fic for it if I can think of anything. ^^;
Ginny and Draco both begin the new year at Hogwarts with hesitation for what lays ahead in their future, not aware that they have a lot more in common than they realize.Category: Works in Progress
oh, a story where my patience has paid off!
i really love this story and how well you've done the development of the characters and their relationships.
History tends to repeat itself and someone always needs protecting.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh. Oh, this one really just hit me in the chest. It was written just well enough to really hit me, it's great.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I\'m glad you enjoyed it.
Scorpius Malfoy's parents were never around, and left him in the care of his nanny, Ginny Weasley. He grew up blissfully under her care, brought up with the Weasley ideals of courage, honor, and loyalty. Then when he turns 7, his father comes home, and Scorpius' simple world falls apart.Category: Works in Progress
oh. my. god.
draco malfoy you emotionally stunted litle man.
i just sat and read through all three chapters and you've got me hook, line, and sinker. i'm excited for future updates.
Author's Response: Hahahaha, isn\'t he just, though? He\'s so awful (if you can\'t tell, I love it!). I\'m so glad you\'re enjoying this, and thank you so much for your review. You sound just like me when I find a story I really love, so it\'s wonderful to get such feedback from a reader.
“You mustn’t tell them, Rose! Harry knows but Lily and the boys… you can’t breathe a word…”Category: Works in Progress
When Rose Weasley went to her favorite aunt for advice on how to handle loving someone her family disapproved of, she never dreamed the older woman would have been able to relate so well. In the comfortable safety of her kitchen, Ginevra Potter told her niece everything and swore her to secrecy. But months later, when Ginevra notices that her daughter, Lily, is spending time with Scorpius Malfoy, Ginny realizes too late that the truth can never really be locked away. Children question their parents and their own identities and everyone must confront the past.
Oh, goodness. MemoriesFade basically said everything I was thinking and feeling. I'm agitated both at the lack of D/G and about the Lily/Scorp/Rose relationship. I originally thought thought that I'd like Lily/Scorpius because Draco and Ginny aren't together, but I just really feel bad for Rose... and it kind of squicks me out thinking that there'll be further D/G and L/S interaction going on at the same time.
BUT, I'm obviously this involved because I do enjoy your story a lot and await your updates.
Author's Response: Well I can promise a chapter all about Ginny for the immediate next one and a few memories of Draco when they lived together. Also, Rose isn't finished. Thanks for your review and I'll update once I can!
Ohh. I am sad.
Author's Response: Aw, sorry about that. It was intentionally sad, but still... The ending will be much happier, so there is that to look forward to.
Oh, wow. I somehow missed your last update and read these last two chapters all at once. There is no doubt what so ever that you are an excellent writer because of how involved everyone seems in the story.
However, I just feel like I've been tricked somehow. Lol, your writing skill lured me in and then I followed a story with little detail about D/G(yes, it's soon coming, I know.) I just feel as though I am way too involved in the next generation love trials when I expected more... well, D/G. Buuut, while I'm on that note, I just wanted to put it out there how I feel that L/S doesn't have the same dynamic as D/G. Not that they should as your characters, it just makes it seem even more ill-fitting for this site because of how much focus is on their relationship. I don't know, that's my weird train of thought for trying to justify why L/S irks me in such a way. Another reason could be Lily and Scorpius and their utter disregard and disrespect of the other characters. Or that Lily's an all out brat. Or that Scorpius actually didn't know what he would've done to Rose if he hadn't gotten punched. Or that while Rose was saying that he was hurting her Lily did nothing at all (shock from getting slapped does not extend so far as to watch someone you very much like almost attack someone you love.)
: See what I mean? Entirely too preoccupied with the next generation.
I'm still awaiting the D/G and the happy-ish end of everything. And extra kudos for being so attentive to your reviewers!
ps - i don't think anyone's trying to honestly "bash" your story. it's just eliciting so many different reactions and emotions as the plot thickens... that was supposed to sound a lot more like a compliment. :)
Author's Response: Thanks for the kudos and your comments. I don't see anything as bashing necessarily, just different takes that make me think and I end up adding more chapters every time. I always end up liking them once that happens no matter what, so no worries. It's a good point about the emphasis put on the next generation, and yeah it gets people preoccupied, I haven't given anyone a chance not to either with the small amount that Draco and Ginny have been seen in comparison. But they are the focus for the rest of the story starting in the next chapters. I've been typing like crazy on those scenes (rewrites are a total death sentence by the way ;) Anyway, I'm hoping it will be more satisfying as everyone gets to read those chapters. As for the happy ending, there is much more angst to come, but it will somehow get happy anyway. Thanks for your review and I hope you like the next chapters too!
When her family perished in the great wizarding war, Ginny turned her back on the magical community and eeked out a life for herself in the muggle world. Struggling to make ends meet, Ginny seeks to escape her hum-drum life and a throwaway comment from Draco galvanises her into action. Afraid of losing her, Draco intervenes and nothing ends up going to plan.Category: Works in Progress
this is one of the most captivating d/g fics I've read in a while!! it's a very interesting story in the world of "forced marriage" fics. i hope we get to read more soon!
Author's Response: I'm pleased you're enjoying the fic. I see a lot of mail order bride fics with some variation on Draco and Ginny hating each other but i was keen to explore a dynamic where they have a pre-existing friendship of sorts. I wanted them to start out with a relationship and explore pushing the boundaries rather than starting from scratch.
And here it is-- the LAST chapter!Category: Completed Short Stories, Works in Progress
This is another one that earns the rating, so be warned. Guilt. Confession. Sex. Betrayal. The agonizing power of human choice. They all collide when the Hogwarts train runs off the tracks near Coventry with Draco, Harry, Ginny in a marooned car... and a mystery brooding over them they can't begin to imagine. The VERY FIRST... wait, the SECOND... Anisefic ever published anywhere. It's never ever gone up here until now.
I remember this fic!! I enjoyed it this time just like the last time!
Author's Response: I didn't see this review until now, but if you ever read it.. thanks! :)
It’s been just over ten years since the Battle of Hogwarts. Society has moved on but not in the utopic way everyone assumed it would. For Ginny Weasley, however, everything is going great until a season-ending fall derails her Quidditch career and forces her to reevaluate her life. It also forces her to realize that there’s more to Draco Malfoy than she ever thought—something Luna has been telling her for the past six years… This is what happens when Slytherins find themselves filling the roles of Gryffindors, Ravenclaws rule the art world, and Weasleys are unable to use magic—or at least, one Weasley can’t.Category: Works in Progress
the awkwardness was so perfect in this chapter, it had my heart racing!
I'm really enjoying the d/g ride you're taking us on.
Author's Response: Yay! Perfect awkwardness! I'm glad you're enjoying it!
