Here to satisfy the impeccable affinity for white-blond-silver meets red-chocolate-freckles. :) If you'd like to see my fics, art, recommendations for fics and authors, or general HP-related links and etc, please check out the Memories section of my livejournal. I'm currently working on a few stories. The more feedback a fic gets, the more swiftly the inspiration flows, and the faster I'll put up a new chapter. I also love alluding to cool people, especially enthusiastic reviewers. (For a mortifyingly apt example of this tendency, check out the fifth chapter of "Ginny Weasley and the Online Date.") Nerdiness is uber-cool. :oD
Hey, Baby -- how can I know so many digits of pi and not the digits of your phone number?
Ginny's back at Grimmauld Place for the summer, where her mother, who's trying to protect her, is withholding information she desperately wants. Narcissa Malfoy, meanwhile, is up to no good and wants Draco out of her way, so she's shipped him off to Snape. Our favorite professor, left choiceless in the matter, consulted with Dumbledore about the dangers of this arrangement. The Headmaster, knowing that a close watch would need to be kept on the young Slytherin, decided that it would be best if Draco spent the summer...where else?...at Grimmauld Place.Category: Works in Progress
squeee! this was quite a good setting-the-stage chapter; you've characterized both Draco and Ginny very well -- good luck w/ the rest of the story! :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm trying very hard to keep Draco and Ginny in character. :)
Ginny breaks up with Draco. Draco doesn’t take it very well. The trials and tribulations of their relationship.Category: Works in Progress
Very cute - haha You've got to admire the stubbornness that's inherently Ginny and Draco. And poor Blaise! Keep up the good work. :)
A Vesica/Mynuet Collaboration. If Ginny had even the slightest inkling of what the day would bring, she probably would have called in sick. A disastrous press conference proved to be no match for the spin doctoring talents of Lush's chief and Ginny finds herself catapulted from being a lowly intern to the very eye of the storm, living a double life as a careerwitch and glamorous front woman for a racy new line. Throw in a few A-list events, a few dozen crises, an endless promotional tour with her new co-worker and the last person she wanted to spend time with, and a mystery waiting back home that neither of them may be able to solve….Every day's an adventure when you're living the Lush Life!Category: Works in Progress
Ooh la la -- this story looks positively scrumptious. Not only does it have atypical and sweet ups and downs, but it's also got a sterling witty quality that makes it vastly entertaining. Great work, you two! :)
Author's Response: Myn says: I like this reviewer. Can we keep her?
Ves says: Yes, please. I love the word \"scrumptious\". And she thinks we\'re witty!! *giggles madly*
Ladies: *all atwitter with glee*
Oooh... This story has such amazing potential, and some truly Good ideas. Great job, you two! :)
Author's Response: Ves says: Thanks! It\'s been almost scary how fast ideas keep popping into our heads.
Myn says: Too many more and we\'ll need tinfoil hats to keep them away.
Ves says: Can they be shaped like pyramids?
Mmm! I'm loving this story, and I can't wait to "see" how the pictures turn out. Ginny @ a photoshoot... Is there any fanart for this story? Great ideas, ladies! :)
Author's Response:
Myn says: Lyra Kristine was working on some, and I think I\'d asked Starlette as well, but Lyra\'s got a lot going on and I don\'t even know if I sent Starlette the next chapter, so, yeah. In short, there isn\'t currently any fanart, but there will be.
Ves says: I was going to say, \"Just you wait...\" but you took care of that.
There are some things a husband should never forget.Category: Long and Completed
hahahaha and Wow -- poor Draco. Once the infallible, and now the forgetful. And I especially love the summary of the third chapter. :oD Nice work!!
Not bestiality. No, really. Revolves around Draco being jealous.Category: Completed Short Stories
Excellent wit from Ginny, and amusing good-in-bed-but-still-insecure Draco. And a fantastic first paragraph -- great job! :)
Draco Malfoy, cynic extraordinaire, on his least favourite holiday of the year. Add one feisty Weaslette and way too much pink for his taste, and the results may be surprising. One-shot!Category: Completed Short Stories
hahahaha This was fanfictionally incredible. You've got the dialogue downpat, and Malfoy's so cute when he's annoyed. Great job! :oD
He can't help but watch her dance through life.Category: Completed Short Stories
Eee... beautiful, with a simple elegance. The music theme weaving throughout was delightful. :)
There was only one thing that could bring the students of Hogwarts together, across house lines, rich and poor, pureblood and Muggleborn alike... the Seventh Year Streak.Category: Completed Short Stories
Squeee! haha The Seventh Year Streak smacks of UVA. Any familiarity w/ the school on your part, or was it inspired by a different academic environment? Quite entertaining; great job, Embellished! :)
Author's Response: No, I don\'t know anything about UVA. It was an incident at an entirely different major public university that inspired the story. And as far as I know, it was a random incident, nothing organized. The organization just seemed to make the story work better. Thanks for the review!
It is 2010, 12 years after Voldemort's downfall, and Draco Malfoy has returned to England at long last. A Draco/Ginny story.Category: Long and Completed
Ooooh! I've read this story before, but just realized: I visited London this past year and we also saw The Merchant of Venice at the Globe Theater! :) Very cool. ^_^
Ginny, Draco, Quidditch, and entirely too close quarters. Being forced to train, play, and live with Draco for a season gives Ginny a whole new understanding of and appreciation for the amazing bouncing ferret. Ginny's POV.Category: Long and Completed
This is such a great idea!! haha It kind of reminds me of "Quidditch" meets "Real World". It's got so many different possibilities, and I'm loving Ginny's inner monologue. Well done! :oD
hahahahahaha Adorable! With a perfect ending. Yay! :oD
Ginny and Draco share a secret love of music. Will it be enough to break down predjudiced walls and bring them together?Category: Long and Completed
Awesome and Amazing, in a musically wonderful way. :) I loved all of the references -- you've got great taste. Fantastic job! :oD
Draco Malfoy, beleaguered sex god, meets his match.Category: Completed Short Stories
hahaha I love this story every time I read it. I also re-read mahaliem's "My Veela!Draco story, and, though it's slash, it's super cute, too: http://mahaliem.livejournal.com/93133.html (hehehehe Enjoy!)
Harry and Hermione need a break from the newest member of their clan. Ginny rescues them but who will rescue her when the Ice Prince of Slytherin shows up?Category: Completed Short Stories
Awww! This fic gave me quite a few smiles. Especially:
It wasn’t that she didn’t like Draco Malfoy with his simmering good looks; it was that she didn’t really care to be alone with sex on wheels.
And:
She considered not opening the door, but she knew the chance to ogle at him would be lost. I have no shame.
Though I confess: I would've totally pondered, too, Ginny-style. Now if only Draco would show up at my door...
Author's Response: I totally would have eaten him up, ego and all. *evil smirk* Thanks for the review!
Ginny Weasley wakes to find she's in quite a bit of trouble with possible lifelong consequences. *COMPLETE*Category: Long and Completed
hehe I'd discovered this gem a while back, but only just realized that you've been updating. Tres cool! Hrm... I do have one suggestion -- in the chapters 1 or 2, you don't really mention any names, but then in chapter 3, you introduce our favorite male as simply "Draco." I know we all know his surname, but it might be a tad more striking to add in a bit of Malfoy shock. (Just a suggestion, of course.) And now, to read/re-read onward! ^_^
Slightly AU It is after the final war and Ginny has already started to rebuild her life. She is now a successful wizarding psychologist employed by Azkaban and St. Mungo's. Things become rather strange when both patient and doctor start to show some interesting changes. A bit of a crossover with the world of Wicked.Category: Long and Completed
Absolutely fantastic idea! (Though of course, I'm a firm believer that the sciences + fantasy + HP are such a cool combo. :oD) I especially liked: "- uses charm to seduce Healers (note to self: try to prevent this at all costs!)" ...Foreshadowing? I'm looking fwd to the next update. ^_^
Oooh... and the plot thickens. Your exposition is quite good in this story; I do feel sorry for Ginny in all of her rambling glory -- sounds like a tough job. (And your friend Alise sounds like the perfect companion for Ginny here -- haha and yay for Asians!) :) Oooh -- but two Malfoy Men? ;) Am looking fwd to Draco's characterization. :oD Btw -- I also checked out your "Favorite Stories" to look for any recommended fics -- haha we've got many of the same ones listed. Good taste, gal! :)
Hmm... a trip into Draco's psyche. I do like the Kill Bill allusions, and they do seem to fit rather nicely. Especially the "...masochistic." :o) Thanks for your reviews on my story, gal! It was such fun including your title. :)
Aww... haha Interesting idea, w/ the Draco lookalike. Though... Italian? I don't know if I've ever seen a blond one. If you really do know an Italian-Draco-lookalike, send him my way! ;) And score one for the Asian gal! :oD
Author's Response: Yeah, my beta came up with the whole "Antonio" thing. I just gave him a name and a nationality. Well, I\'ve never seen a blond Italian either, but I figure that as said in ch. 5 that he recieved the entire Malfoy gene collection, thus making him look like a slightly pasty blond. No, unfortunately I don\'t. :( I thought you would like who Alise scored. hehe
hahaha Poor Sap indeed. And woohoo for mental alcoholics. :)
Author's Response: Finally! Someone else who found that funny. I was like the only one who did. XD And mental alcoholics can be quite fun in the right context. hehe
She just agreed to it to make everyone else crazy. Low and behold... success... and near arrests for kidnapping.Category: Completed Short Stories
Awww... Very sweet, with more than a hint of sass. Quite well done, as usual, E! :)
Author's Response: Thank you. Well, you know how I like sass.
Draco and Ginny have a little tiff about what others know and don't know about them.Category: Completed Short Stories
Absolutely Spiffing, Echo, just like always! :)
Author's Response: Well, thank you. :)
Set in 1998, 7th year Draco Malfoy and 6th year Ginny Weasley cross paths in the summer festival of Beltane in Hogsmeade. Years later, they meet again. This time, things get more complicated as they struggle to sort out tangled emotions through the most unconventional ways.Category: Long and Completed
Aww... I like the various themes per season; great idea. :) Draco and Ginny are sweet and sassy and angsty, and this story was a pleasure to read. :)
