Here to satisfy the impeccable affinity for white-blond-silver meets red-chocolate-freckles. :) If you'd like to see my fics, art, recommendations for fics and authors, or general HP-related links and etc, please check out the Memories section of my livejournal. I'm currently working on a few stories. The more feedback a fic gets, the more swiftly the inspiration flows, and the faster I'll put up a new chapter. I also love alluding to cool people, especially enthusiastic reviewers. (For a mortifyingly apt example of this tendency, check out the fifth chapter of "Ginny Weasley and the Online Date.") Nerdiness is uber-cool. :oD
Hey, Baby -- how can I know so many digits of pi and not the digits of your phone number?
Ginny Weasley has gone through a string of men, even suffering through a stint being married to the Savior of the Wizarding World. She keeps her pain bottled up inside, until when she finally snaps, she does something drastic that changes her world forever.Category: Long and Completed
Oooh -- I absolutely love the way you're playing somewhat-clueless-and-confused-but-hopelessly-sexy Draco in this. And I also love it when Ginny's bright and confident and smart. Harry, however, is the proverbial stick in the mud. Well done! :)
!! Beautiful, and hot. Especially sweet: cinnamon met steel. Quite apt, and very well done. :)
Draco's drowning his sorrows. Crossover with BtVS.Category: Completed Short Stories
Awww! So very cute and human. :)
Sick of Draco and Ginny getting stuck in a closet? Especially when they always seem to have room to have sex? Well, so are they...Category: Completed Short Stories
haha A bit of an odd duck in storylines, but you're doing a cute job of mixing in fic and banalities and, well, closets. You might want to watch your verb tense, as sometimes jumping around between past/present/first/third person can be confusing. But, in general, 'twas a very cool idea. :)
Author's Response: Thanks! An odd duck... Never heard that before... I know about the tense, and I am very sorry! I only realised after I'd done the chapter that it swapped! I'll try to keep that in line, but I wouldn't expect much because I never could colour inside the lines very well... (Don't ask where THAT came from... I'll keep the tense in the proper form, but sorry if I forget!)
'Twas! ha ha ha ha! Love that word... Thanks for reviewing!
Sequel to Quidditch. Short, happy, and succinct. Un-understandable without having first read Quidditch.Category: Completed Short Stories
I absolutely /love/ this story. Not only is it practical and fluffy all at once, but it's witty and quippy and clever, too. Woohoo! :)
Ginny, Draco and an amusing secret.Category: Completed Short Stories
Awww! This was cute; the marshmallow affinity for Draco has oodles of potential. :) Good job!
Author's Response: thanks for reviewing, glad you like it.
Draco kidnaps Ginny on the pretense of saving her. WARNINGS: angst, VIOLENCE, abuse, drama, smut, mean & evil Draco, and absolutely no happy endings what so ever!Category: Long and Completed
Ooh -- this storyline has oodles of potential. Am looking fwd to the next update. :)
It's an old spell and an older oath, and Draco Malfoy would have laughed them off were he not in his present situation. Things being as they are, however, being married to Ginny Weasley might just be the answer to his problems. Pre-HBP.Category: Long and Completed
Quite cute, overall -- especially the sweet yet sassy dialogue at the end. Good job! ^_^
The things that will make your beta (and you better have one)'s life easier, the things that some members of the Cabal might be too tactful to tell you, and the things that make or break a D/G fic...Category: Essays
Very well-written, with quite a few valid points from an author-itative point of view. One of my top pet peeves is mixing up you/you're and its/it's, and that happens all too often in fanfic. As do run-on sentences. Gah!! I'm guessing it's b/c the American public doesn't read enough at the young formulative ages of childhood and teenagerdom. Which books were your favorites growing up? (I'm searching for suggestions.) :)
Again, good work! :)
Author's Response: Thank you. My favourite books growing up? Hmm... I liked the Anne of Green Gables series to an extent, though I liked L. M. Montgomery's Emily series better than the Anne series. I also loved Joan Aiken's The Wolves of Willoughby Chase and Ellen Raskin's The Westing Game. Those were my elementary and early middle school favourites. After that, it was a steady diet of Austen, Shakespeare, Bronte, Swift, and others mostly of the BritLit variety :)
AU: Draco is the only son of a well respected British Nobleman. Ginny is a poor, yet worldly young woman. They meet while Draco is traveling abroad. A whirlwind romance ensues, and they are married in a tribal ceremony. The newlyweds return to England where deception and predjudice cause Ginny to leave. Seventeen years later a young woman shows up on Draco's doorstep claiming to be his daughter. She turns his world upside down. Once all of the truth comes to light, will Draco and Ginny find their way back to each other?Category: Works in Progress
This is a super cute idea. A small question -- did you mean "reverie" instead of "revelry" in this sentence?
“Is there something wrong?” Draco’s voice broke her from her revelry.
Otherwise, good work. :)
A bet, a wanted witch, and a magical contract land Draco in a most unexpected situation. Can his Slytherin soul survive intact or will he succumb to one redheaded witch in bondage? Snarky humor, romance, and a pinch of angst. “I don’t want it. I didn’t order it. Now leave me the fuck alone.” He slammed the door closed. Only it didn’t close due to the enormous boot wedged into its threshold. One loud grunt later and it flung back open, almost hitting him in the face. Draco reflexively leaned back, and that’s when she was thrust into his unsuspecting arms.Category: Works in Progress
hahaha Blaise is such a sweet shaggable character. And though Draco seems to be quite psychologically intact, Ginny seems to be a tad lacking. I wonder what happened? Intriguing storyline, and succinct, yet entertaining language. Good job thusfar! :)
So many questions! Good action in this chapter. And, come to think of it, I was wondering where spitfire Ginny went, as well. Good work! :)
Author's Response: Yep, she\'s still in there, tucked away but not destroyed! Thanks for your review. -fallenwitch
Oooh... I must confess: Not only are your wit and ideas quite the coolness, but I also love your references to Draco's bum, however uptight and head-attracting it might be. hehehe :)
Oooh... I must confess: Not only are your wit and ideas quite the coolness, but I also love your references to Draco's bum, however uptight and head-attracting it might be. hehehe :)
Author's Response: Thanks, twiddlekinks, coming from you, I take that as the ultimate compliment! -fallenwitch
In progress. Ginny commemorates the fifth anniversary of her death and finds herself face to face with someone from her past.Category: Works in Progress
Eeee!!!! I've been waiting for this bit for quite a while, and it's totally a cliffhanger (again). :) hehehe Well done, girlie. :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'ll try not to keep you waiting as long for the next one.
Two and a half years after his failure to kill Albus Dumbledore, Draco has long been accepted back into the ranks of the Death Eaters. He is still obsessively searching for the rebel Ginny Weasley, but he hides that secret well. When she is found one snowy December night, he smuggles her onto the Death Eaters? train with him. And he begins to learn that nothing will ever be the same again?Category: Works in Progress
Aiyah... Poor Draco. I was quite hoping that the scales would render him innocent, but the darker part of KCotDT is definitely getting darker. Well-written, as always, Anise! :)
Aiiii... You and your cliffhangers. Quite delicious of a story, overall -- it's quite intelligent, and I'd definitely fall for this moral-yet-slightly-confused-but-wonderful Draco that you've created. Ah, Ginny... Great work, Anise! :)
Malfoy is acting suspiciously, and the Trio immediately assumes the worst. However, when Blaise Zabini offers Ginny a different perspective, she begins to wonder if maybe all of their beliefs concerning Draco are just...misconceptions. But that's only the beginning.Category: Long and Completed
Research!! Fantastic way of tying together DM's resourcefulness and smarts. haha I confess -- I did the same thing w/ "PhD," but in a bio-oriented world. Props on your ideas for Protego + ! :)
Draco made a New Year's resolution, but Ginny is making it very hard for him to keep it.Category: Completed Short Stories
hahahaha This was adorably cute. Esp the Snape and potions ingredients and nekkid bit. Witty and well-done, E! :)
Author's Response: That part made me shudder a bit when I wrote it. But I figured that if it didn\'t, it would never have worked for Draco. Though I suppose it might not have worked, even for him. Alas, we will never know!
Ginny Weasley's life has been turned upside-down, inside-out, and into total madness ... all because of an evil little 3 by 3 inch paper ... D/G, with a side order of Luna/Blaise.Category: Works in Progress
hahaha This was uber-sweet, and I especially liked the bit about grammar -- er, the lack thereof. Am lookin' fwd to more stuff. :)
Author's Response: thanks you! by the way, i am a super-fan of PhD.. i hate the sciences, but if Draco Malfoy was ever my professor, I\'m sure I would stay in school til the day i died.
hehe This story has been on my "Favorites" list for a while now, and I enjoyed re-reading Ginny's tangents. Are you going to continue the apoplexy? :oD hehehe Post-its... ^_^
Author's Response:
I absolutely adore your stories. Hahah I think you've inspired me to finally pick this story up again, its been far too long since I've written a chapter.
Thanks for the review!
