Here to satisfy the impeccable affinity for white-blond-silver meets red-chocolate-freckles. :) If you'd like to see my fics, art, recommendations for fics and authors, or general HP-related links and etc, please check out the Memories section of my livejournal. I'm currently working on a few stories. The more feedback a fic gets, the more swiftly the inspiration flows, and the faster I'll put up a new chapter. I also love alluding to cool people, especially enthusiastic reviewers. (For a mortifyingly apt example of this tendency, check out the fifth chapter of "Ginny Weasley and the Online Date.") Nerdiness is uber-cool. :oD
Hey, Baby -- how can I know so many digits of pi and not the digits of your phone number?
Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy have always been enemies. What will happen when they end up in a place where no one knows of their family rivalry?Category: Long and Completed
hahaha
I saw this story on the recommended ones, and this particular chapter was of the quirky sweetness that so many of us
hahaha Oooh -- a tesseract! Fantastic incorporation, and a great twist. :oD
A fun, upbeat fic, in which Ginny can't control her fantasies... fantasies that someone else can see... An attempt to be humorous... but not too witty. (I really am funny to myself... but I think I'm the only one I make laugh! ;) )Category: Completed Short Stories
Awwwww... Tres sweet, and quite sexi. Good job! :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! ;)
Draco Malfoy fancies himself a connoisseur of fine wine and fine women, but a string of encounters with Ginny Weasley teaches him that he still has something to learn about both.Category: Long and Completed
Mmm! Quite savory, w/ the intelligent spice that's intrinsic in your stories. Thanks for the allusion, as well. :) Your end notes are particularly illuminating, and you do an excellent job of portraying Draco as a connoisseur. Tres bien! I'm looking forward to more. :)
Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it so far. And your endnotes gave me the courage to be really wordy in mine! :) Hopefully they will stay illuminating and not end up too pedantic...
Quite a delight as usual, E. :) What's YOUR favorite wine, and a good dish that goes along with it? And the tips are very much appreciated -- I love the exposure. Now, if only we could find a way to explore the tastes and scents via Internet... :)
(haha And the metrosexual snobby post-Hogwarts Draco is quite a good one, Phaedra!) :)
Author's Response: Hm. Well, I, like Draco, appreciate some variety in my wine selection (though not in my love life!). My favorite red would probably be a Syrah, though it isn\'t clear what kind. Syrahs go with anything that is fairly richly flavored. For whites, I like a Sauvignon Blanc, preferably from New Zealand. I often drink white wine with fish. Anyway, that is probably more than you wanted to know! Thanks for reading.
Evil plotting always has consequences. Always. While Draco and Ginny are busy scheming to get some time together by organising a masked ball for the Ministry of Magic, perhaps they really should have remembered this....Category: Completed Short Stories
hahaha This was quite sweet, and I'm quite glad it was on the recommendations for the month. Very cute and quirky. :)
*Completely AU* In a world where Voldemort was never defeated, only a few things matter: pureblood, money and power. All that Ginny Weasley wanted was to survive her 7 years at Hogwarts, a school where the children of the richest and most powerful wizards dominate over others. Denying her natural instincts, she managed to make it into her 6th year without offending any of the cruel and powerful Slytherins - especially that horrible Draco Malfoy. Until one day, she crosses a line, and her peaceful existence is shattered forever. A story filled with adolescent drama, clash of the classes, angst, jealousy, ridiculous pride and love triangles (and squares).Category: Works in Progress
This story puts the "zing" in amazing! I really love the anime-inspired story, and you're quite right -- Hana Yori Dongo is /perfect/ for D&G. Mmmm... Great twisting and AU-ing! :)
haha I just spent who-knows-how-long watching Hana Yori Dango, which can be freely found here:
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=hana+yori+dango
(Episodes 1-8, anyway.) Where can I get / find / see the others? How many are there?
Awesome idea for a fic, too -- I kept seeing D&G while watching Tsukasa and Tsukki. hehehe :)
Author's Response: Glad you checked out HYD, b/c Tsukasa and Tsukushi are SO D/G-ish, it\'s incredible!
Eee! I must say, in HYD, I really disliked this portion of the drama -- it's so very disturbing. I also really like how you make Draco actually /smart/. Doumiyouji's a tad goofy. But at least they've got good
Author's Response: I hated the way they handled it in the drama, like nothing major had happened, and like Domyouji was the victim. I plan on addressing that here, because, seriously, can you imagine being only 16, all alone in the world (well, at least, without any family around) and having that happen? It would be horrible! So, I plan to redress that in a different way that makes me slightly less flaily with feminist rage, lol.
And, yes, I\'ve definitely made Draco smart, which is a HUGE difference from the Domyouji character, but given fanon!Draco, I just couldn\'t make him as ridiculous as Domyouji. Arrogant, yes, but not stupid. He IS a Slytherin, after all.
Ahhhh, cliffhanger!!! But the fic is totally awesome, definitely "feels" like HYD, and makes me want to go back and rewatch oodles of J-drama. ^_^
Author's Response: Hehehe. I think it's a relatively minor cliffhanger? Haha. HYD made me so giddy every time I watch it. Such a classic!
Aww!! Tres adorable. Oddly enough, now that I've watched HYD, the characters keep switching around in my head. hehe Matsujun would be the best Asian Draco Malfoy ever. ^_^
Eeeee man, what a cliffhanger!! But I'm so very glad that you've added more to this story. Your Draco definitely reminds me of Doumiouji, and they're both incredibly and inevitably attractive in the same way. Well done, as always. ^_^
Awww! What a great chapter. I especially liked the bit about "she gets under your skin" vs. "she gets into your soul." Well said! ^_^
Author's Response: Thanks!! I'm glad you liked that part! I thought it was an interesting way to show the different ways that Draco & Blaise think about Ginny.
Song fic to Joss Whedon’s, “Walk Through the Fire”. Through the fray, Ginny and Draco search for each other.Category: Completed Short Stories
Quite fitting for the song, and subtle enough to be believable. Well written! :)
Author's Response: thank you :D
Narcissa Malfoy wants Draco married off-- and quickly! So, she chooses to send him to a date coach of sorts. What Narcissa wants, Narcissa gets! *Fun, fluff!*Category: Long and Completed
Oh, Draco. haha He's such a stool pigeon sometimes. But I'm greatly enjoying this story, and I totally understand where your Ginny is coming from. And now, there's the curiosity -- how'd she get into it, and why, and what're they gonna do? (Tres exciting! :))
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I\'ll do my best to address all the questions.
Ginny and Draco argue over a misunderstanding. Half the fun of arguing is making up.Category: Completed Short Stories
haha This was tres cute, with a bunch of sexiness within. Kudos! :)
Author's Response: Thank you :)
*COMPLETE* Destiny knew better than to bring these two together. One man, determined to draw back an errant Malfoy, is not so wise, and Ginny soon finds herself caught up in events that are not quite Fate.Category: Long and Completed
This was a perfectly wonderful chapter. Fantastic job! :)
Fantabulous, just like always,
Beautiful chapter, as always. I truly enjoy the intricacy of your plots, and the multi-dimensionality of your characters. And this whole Nott thing is curious and curiouser -- who knows what he's plotting? Also, where's Blaise Zabini in all of this? Kudos, chica, and good luck on your finals!
Mmm -- that was quite wonderful! It actually seems /natural/, which is tough in many bits o' fanfic. Great job! :)
Draco Malfoy smelled like citrus lemons.Category: Completed Short Stories
Mmm... I love how, whenever I re-read this story, the scents seem so real, and so aptly fitting. Definitely an mm-mm-good bit. ^_^
Draco and Pansy like to play games. What happens when a Polyjuice Plan goes wrong?Category: Works in Progress
hahaha This was quite perfect. I love the letters twist. :)
Author's Response: Thank you, I had fun writing it.
haha I love how your Ginny has sass and sense. And Draco's totally a spoiled brat, but I think he's got good things comin' to him, anyway. :oD And Ginny window-shopping matches her OkCupid personality, too. :oD hehe Yay!
Very cute! I liked that Ginny was practical and not do easily won over. Perfect letter! :)
