A Muggle Studies assignment leads Draco to the unenviable task of being a Weasley's cabana boy... But the Weasley has some plans of her own. It continues throughout her sixth year - but will it remain on a physical level, or become something more?Category: Works in Progress
Yay for a (brilliant) update to this series! And the thought of Hermione getting ideas from Draco and Ginny is just hilarious. Loved it!
Ginny receives a box of chocolates from an unknown sender. When she actually tries them, she's in for a treat.Category: Completed Short Stories
I can definitely forgive any time between updates with a chapter like that! :-) Hope to see the next one soon, as I'm really, really enjoying this story. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Ginny's caught writing faux love letters to Draco from girls in other houses. When he steals her sole quill in retribution, Ginny's forced into a twisted game of domination and submission. WARNINGS: violence, perhaps a little blood, D/s, and mind-fucks.Category: Long and Completed
I told you already that I adore this, but it bears repeating. Him healing the marks he'd left - just a lovely image. And the end leaves it open to my imagination (which I intend to put to full use) ... or perhaps a sequel? Well done, as always. On to HMHM ... ;)
Draco decides that he wants to go for the Cup and challenges Ginny to the next match.Category: Long and Completed
The end of this chapter was gut-wrenching, but the way you wrote it was great. Really well done - I squee every time this story's updated!
As much as I want things to work out for Draco and Ginny, Draco definitely needed a good ass-kicking. I still hope for a happy ending, but I'm glad to see him suffering appropriately for what he did. The Lucius/Narcissa interaction was very well done, too, and I can't wait to see what Blaise and Luna have up their sleeves!
No apologies necessary; I'm just glad to see an update. You've done such a great job crafting this story - I'll eagerly look forward to what happens next.
Ginny's engaged to Harry. Draco's in love with Ginny. Harry's in love with Draco. Let the games begin.Category: Long and Completed
Hey, you can be a review whore all you want if it means we keep getting to read! Great chapter - and I loved it when Ginny told Draco "I'd turn you gay and you'd leave me." Hee.
Ah, the suspense! Love the cliffhanger - and the rest of the chapter. Can't wait for the finale!
An explosion in the Potions classroom leaves behind a raving Potions Master, a bloody Draco, and a certain redhead we all love having a moment of altruistic weakness. Ginny's kindness makes Draco very suspicious, leading him to destroy her goodwill. In retribution, Ginny decides to put some embarrassing information about Draco to good use. Ahh, nothing like one-upmanship to kindle a little romance.Category: Works in Progress
I'm so, so glad to see a new chapter of Downfall! It was worth the wait - the way you write Draco and Ginny interacting is really great. Nicely done, and thanks for a good read.
Author's Response: *glomps* Sillysun! Yay for one of my original readers. I\'m so glad you like the new chapter- it was kind of hard to get back in their voices in this story, and I ended up deleting most of what I had written at least twice. I\'m glad the finished product was up to par. :)
Ginny breaks up with Draco. Draco doesn’t take it very well. The trials and tribulations of their relationship.Category: Works in Progress
This is definitely an intriguing beginning! I'm curious as to Ginny's reasons for leaving Draco, but I know things will heat up now that Blaise has that blank check in his hand. So many possibilities ... nicely done!
I still adore the part where Blaise is trying to figure out the painting - especially his final conclusion. *snickers* Like I said, I'm glad you went into Ginny's motivation for leaving Draco; that had me curious. All in all, great chapter, and I can't wait to read the next one! (Especially if I get another sneak peek. ;)
NEW, REVISED EDITION!! The Last Chapter. See what you think of this version! :)Category: Long and Completed
By the spring of her fifth year, Ginny Weasley had almost convinced herself that she didn’t really still want Harry Potter. But when he finally kissed her one Hogsmeade weekend in June, she couldn’t resist the power of all those years of waiting and watching and hoping and praying. Six months later, her dream has finally come true… except that Draco Malfoy just won’t leave her alone. Strange things are afoot, and once Ginny starts to figure out what’s really going on, nothing is as simple as it seems…
I read this story as part of Ficmas and can't wait to see it expanded - and with an NC17 rating, no less. Your writing is lovely; I'm looking forward to reading the rest as it's posted.
Ginny wants revenge, and she extracts it from Draco.Category: Completed Short Stories
It seems wrong somehow to tell you that this was lovely, and yet that was my first instinct. This Draco is unfamiliar to me - so remorseful and aching - and it made me hurt for him. Your words are so crisp; I felt like I was right there with them. Nicely done, as always.
When a Death Eater joins the Order, old prejudices must be cast aside. In a time when it is dangerous to trust anyone, Ginny Weasley's fate is intertwined with that of two Slytherins' as the final battle against Voldemort draws near.Category: Works in Progress
Great start! And it does my impatient mind a world of good to have a few chapters to read at once. :-) I'll look forward to the next upate!
Author's Response: I know, I love it when authors put up whole stories, of course then I end up spending the whole day reading their stories, but who said that was a bad thing? Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Draco sees Ginny, Draco wants Ginny, Ginny wants Draco too.Category: Completed Short Stories
I'm completely sucked in to "Winning the Cup," but what a lovely little side trip this was! I love it when Ginny gets under Draco's skin without even trying, and the imagery you created here was really, really nice. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up! :)
"Can't you see? We're the only constants in each other's lives any more. We don't have anything else to hold onto." When Ginny and Draco both betray their causes, and the war threatens to doom them both... one-shot.Category: Completed Short Stories
I would have said before reading this that 800 words couldn't feel complete. I would have been wrong. It was sad, it was sweet ... it was a lovely read. Thanks for sharing this.
Draco Malfoy is so mean to Ginny Weasley.Category: Completed Short Stories
So, so cute! I love Draco's week being just a countdown until he can see her again - and what a miserable week it was without Ginny. There are so many deft little touches throughout; it was a great read. Yay for fluff!
Author's Response: HA I just learned about this cool respond feature. Thanks! I think this is the fluffiest thing I've written as of yet, so it's a milestone :)
*Winner of the Draco/Ginny Fanfiction Award for Best Novel Length Story.* "Perhaps not everything is as black and white as it appears. Perhaps, even my father was tangled in a web of his own emotions, and in the end it spelled his death. Perhaps I too will share his fate, dying not for the cause I believe in, but for that which I cannot foresee." The ever weaving threads of our own decisions can lead to irrevocable knots, and when Lucius Malfoy is destroyed by unexpected forces, his son, Draco, is thrown into a world of political intrigue, insatiable passion and desperate gambits, opening doors he never thought to look for, and creating a life he never thought he would have as his own.Category: Long and Completed
I really should have reviewed before now to tell you how much I'm enjoying this story. And this chapter, especially, was just amazing. Well done.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you've decided to leave a review.
The Expanded Smut scenes from my fic 'Oh Dear God'. NC-17 rated. AGE WARNING!!! In this fic Ginny is 15 and Draco is 16. If this is a problem to you, Please DON'T READ THE FIC.Category: Works in Progress
The perfect antidote to a dreary afternoon at work: wickedly hot D/G smut. And there's more to come. *stifles a very undignified whoop of joy*
A smallish vent about the insensitivities of the occasional fanfiction reader and the abuses of the authors at their mercy.Category: Essays
I'm in total agreement with what you said. Honestly, nothing's more aggravating than posting a chapter you've spent a great deal of time on and getting a review like this: *taps fingers impatiently* I'm WAITING for a NEW CHAPTER! *le sigh*
I will say, though, that I was a little surprised to see you share my opinion on this subject, seeing as the above review is one that you left me. Maybe I missed the constructive part.
Author's Response: See, I knew someone would call me on my off-kilter humor. I only recently realized that one cannot distinguish between my humor and rudeness hence the rant once I realized how disheartening it is. I apologize profusely for my lack of constructive-ness...I did say in the rant that I attempted to be constructive although it doesn't always work. I did follow it with a smilie in a failed attempt to convey that I was joking. (Although I'm still upset that it offended you *slaps hand* Bad Kat. I really am sorry.)
I post this rant with exclusive permission from Mynuet as a result of being offended on behalf of Sarea, Jade, and (my fabulous beta) dragonsangel68 who have all received more than their share of scathing reviews.
I really do apologize that my wit is indistinguishable from the nasty comments of a layman. I'll clean up my act, I swear!
Ginny Weasley has gone through a string of men, even suffering through a stint being married to the Savior of the Wizarding World. She keeps her pain bottled up inside, until when she finally snaps, she does something drastic that changes her world forever.Category: Long and Completed
The Ginny/Molly interaction in this chapter was just priceless. Another great update!
Draco takes the chance to fulfill his obsession.Category: Works in Progress
I'm really glad to see you reworking this instead of abandoning it - I enjoyed it before, but it'll make a fabulous post-HBP story with your revisions. Intriguing start! I'm anxious for more.
AU. Draco Malfoy has an uncommon skill and he offers his services to the Order of the Phoenix to protect his mother. But as his importance to the Order grows, his strength and will slackens. Finally, all Draco wants is peace, but can Ginny Weasley help him find peace with her before he seeks it in the Dark?Category: Works in ProgressThis story takes place after OotP but uses a few elements from HBP.
**And now includes illustrations! Thanks to the rulers of the DG universe, er...the Cabal, for letting me post them here!**
I just read through everything you've got so far and wanted to say how much I like it. Will definitely look forward to more - you have a nice touch.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! I\'m glad you like it!
(DH spoilers!) Some speculated that Fred and George were training her to take over someday, that she was their protégé and the heiress of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. The only one Fred and George would see as worthy to take over, people said. ( 7th year, Rated Naughty just in case.)Category: Works in Progress
The pacing of this story is very calm, very natural, and it really works. I'm intrigued and looking forward to whatever's next.
Author's Response: Thank you! I had worried that I had taken too much time for character development and readers would get bored, but I\'m glad to see everyone seems to be okay with it. Keep checking back!
Draco tries to persuade Ginny to his way of seeing.Category: Completed Short Stories
This deserves its place as your favorite. It's so, so beautifully written, and I love the line, "He would trace the planets on her body." And the last couple of paragraphs ... so great. Physical proximity means nothing when there's emotional distance. I'm glad I re-read it. Great work.
