An essay written by your Site Mommy on the topic of things that those of us who read through and approve your fics wish you wouldn't do.Category: Essays
Thank you every so much mynuet for posting this. Especially the spelling and grammar. I'm english and there are certain american expressions, which, used in an english boarding school set my nerves on edge. So thank you for these guidelines as to what is and isn't appropriate in fanfiction *skims post to try and squash and spelling and grammar errors, and hopes for the best*
p.s Found the "go little troll go" response hilarious.
Category: Works in ProgressIt's an old age tradition - bestowed upon those who deserve. Ginny's experiencing an unwanted boyfriend, Hermione is completely shocked at the morals of the world, and a new tradition sends an entire school into a chaos that no one can handle.
Will things fall into place? Or will they tragically end with cirumstances unbelievable to those around them?
More more (we cry)! I'm intrigued! Please post the next chapter soon, the suspense may kill me :D
Valentine's Day brings a surprise, but not the one Ginny was hoping for.Category: Works in Progress
*Bounces* can we have more? pretty please? there's only 1 chappie and i'm already hooked. Brilliant!
Author's Response: Thank you for the enthusiasm. I\'ll try to update asap.
More more more, pretty please? With cream and cherries on top. :D
Author's Response: That\'s too tempting an offer to refuse. : )
Finally!
You have absolutely no idea howw glad i am you've updated this (though the gushing of happy in this review may give you a clue)
It's one of the truest characterisations of these characters in this type of setting.
It's wonderful that they're actually having to develop their relationship and that they're not totally accepting of one another.
Also the humour, yay for them all but especially Pansy and Draco because their slightly sarcastic humour is spot on.
So a HUGE thank you, and please don't be tempted ever to abandon this fic. A little bit of happy would be stripped from my day and i'd die from curiosity
right, gushing over :D

Nineteen years later, Astoria watches her husband and Ginny Potter at the train station.
Now normally i'm not a review bunny, very bad of me i know. However having just read this i couldn't NOT write a review. This was quite simply one of the best short fics i've ever read. I am now sitting here with a tear in my eye thinking 'gosh, how can someone cram all that emotion into just over 700 words' and yet you've done it. So thank you. I am also hoping fervently that a sequel may be forthcoming, please?
Author's Response: Thank you! I confess, I also often forget to sign in and review, but I usually do a better job after having just put up a new story because I empathize better. Reviews are the only way I can judge how good and well liked a story is. It makes me feel absolutely amazing when you say that this compelled you to write a review. Thank you so much for leaving me such kind words, they absolutely make the writing worthwhile. Unfortunately, I don\'t think there is going to be a sequel to this fic, as I kinda like the open ending. Nothing is concrete though, so...maybe. I\'m glad you enjoyed the story so much, thank you for leaving a review! :)

Because i'm a bad person i forgot to leave a comment for this on the exchange, so i'll do it here.
If we'd had a category for Most Likely to Break Your Heart i'm pretty sure this would've won hands down.
And i want to blast harry into itty bitty pieces and then pickle them, and possible burn them after that.
Truly evocative writing and in many ways a little too believable.
Author's Response: Hmmm...I'm not sure he'd make a very good pickle anyway. But thank you for your awesome review.
Ginny uses unusual methods to convince Draco to trade sides. (This is alternative Hogwarts era and takes place Draco's last year.)Category: Completed Short Stories
Loved it.
I'm currently sporting the biggest grin.
Thank You.
They looked perfect, too perfect. To the casual passerby, it may have looked as though a master craftsman had merely left two, lifelike statues lying in the snow - AU, Ron contemplates two of Wars casualties. Implied DG, rated for character death.Category: Completed Short Stories
Definitely worth it. Thank you.
Author's Response: Thank you!! ^.^
