After her shoulder shatters in a painful collision with two Bludgers, star Chaser Ginny Weasley finds herself as a Reserve player on a Quidditch team in crisis. If that wasn’t bad enough, Draco Malfoy invades her flat, Oliver Wood gets on her nerves, and Harry and Hermione are out to get the axe-murderer who’s out to get her. Could her life get any worse? Apparently, it could.Category: Long and Completed
While I'm not sure all the details make sense - sometimes the explanations seem a little glib - I could overlook that because you managed to ride the edge between frantic and shrill and come out on the side of funny. Hope to see more soon!
Author's Response: Thank you for reading! I will try to put more care into my details. :)
Ginny supervises Draco's community service.Category: Completed Short Stories
Hee! Good thing Ginny has some discretion over when they can leave, or they might end up putting on more of a show than the renfaire bargained for.
Author's Response: Talk about the statute of secrecy...
What really happened in the DH Epilogue of Doom. Poor, poor Harry, so very clueless...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter SIXTY-NINE quote of the day:
Ginny scowled at him. “You don’t know me very well.”
Draco shook his head, his eyes more sorrowful than ever. “No. I don’t. Eternity wouldn’t be long enough for that.”
“Why do I feel as if we’ve suddenly wandered into the set of a men’s cologne commercial?” complained Lucifer.
“Can’t you keep your damn mouth shut, Lucifer?” spat Draco.
“Please… really… I don’t think you should talk to him that way,” whispered Ginny.
The succubus is masquerading as Ginny, isn't it? It has been all along. And does it maybe have a piece of Ginny, something she's missing? ACK! *shakes you until you finish the story*
In order for Draco to regain control of his assets after the war, he is required to marry. For Draco, this can mean only one witch - Pansy Parkinson. Who, you may ask is the Ministry liason for both Malfoy and Parkinson? Ginny Weasley.Category: Works in Progress
I'm a bit confused - how can Ginny have been Draco's liason for two years? Is the Ministry really that patient?
Other than that, yayness. :D I love the setup, and your writing is charming as always.
Ginny is twenty four, and the war rages on. Draco is a Death Eater, and he needs her help. Of course, he doesn't give her a choice. Now she's surrounded by the enemy. She begins to see that not everything is black and white. Can she come to terms with her new role in his life?Category: Works in Progress
Poor Ginny. Stockholm Syndrome is the kindest thing that she can go through under the circumstances.
Author's Response: I think she is learning to adapt to her situation, but identifying with the man who is protecting her is definitely part of that syndrome.
Sometimes, you just want to be someone else.Category: Completed Short Stories
The fic was cute, but the last two postcripts has me cackling, loudly.
Author's Response: I added them as afterthoughts. I\'m glad you appreciated them.
*DH SPOILERS* Draco and Ginny discover that it is never too late to find true love.Category: Long and Completed
Iiiinteresting. It reminds me of the old BBC comedy, "As Time Goes By". With maybe a dash of "Waiting for God". It seems a bit odd to think of nursing home romance but then, for wizards, 90 is actually about 45. I think. *ponders*
Author's Response: I'm afraid I'm not familiar with either "As Time Goes By" or "Waiting for God", so I can't comment on the similarities or differences. I agree that it is a little odd, but that was part of the appeal--it's not something you see every day (at least not in fanfic!). But really, why shouldn't the elderly fall in love too? I don't know about wizarding aging. My approach is that they age more slowly than Muggles, though not quite as slowly as 90 being like 45. They are certainly old, anyway. :) I hope you will keep reading, and won't find the story too odd! Thanks for the review!
Ginny and Draco exchange Christmas Stockings. Fluff abounds.Category: Completed Short Stories
Awwww. Lovely, lovely fluff. I love how the bracelet subtly makes clear that he's perfectly happy to have a girl first instead of the whole son and heir business.
Author's Response: I couldn't resist. Can't you see Draco with a baby girl? My heart gets all mushy just thinking of it! Thanks for reading! -seegrim
It's never too late for a change of heart.Category: Completed Short Stories
Nice touch, having the trio of ghosts be the Trio. And yay for Draco getting his head out of his butt and not declaring eternal true love, but rather the seeds of it. :D
Author's Response: lol. I thought it would be nice to have them show up for a little bit. This is more of a relationship starter story, so there wouldn\'t have been eternal declarations just yet. :)
Draco's got a new friend. Scorpius is not amused. Oh no, not at all.Category: Completed Short Stories
This story was awesome! I loved how you balanced a serious situation with comedy, and kept the D/G friendship infused with just enough UST to make it delicious without tipping over into being tiresome. Great job!
When a potion goes horribly wrong, Professor Snape is transformed and seemingly trapped in his fifteen-year-old body. Much to his disgust he finds himself enrolled into Harry Potter's fifth year, forced to hide his true identity. Girls, drama and teenage angst do not bode well with Severus. [written pre-OotP]Category: Works in Progress
I'd really enjoyed this story back on FA - does this mean it's getting finished? Yay!
Author's Response: yes :) it's finished, i'm just waiting to upload it.
