In a series of vignettes spanning ten years, Draco and Ginny form an enduring friendship, which eventually leads to more. Drugged confessions, Playstation abuse, weddings, Christmas shopping, blind dates, stripteases, an exploding wand, and R/Hr on the side. Each chapter corresponds to an element of a challenge, including a required item and phrase.Category: Long and Completed
*squeals* Loved it! I always was hoping for a bit more of this, it's one of my absolute favourites. I just love Ginny and Draco's relationship dynamic here, if I've never told you before.
Thank you!!! *huggles*
Ginny's trying to study, but the library is a very distracting place.Category: Completed Short Stories
^_^ Loved Draco just manipulating Ginny, but in a cute way. And Ginny's Weasley temper just can't go against Draco's Quidditch reflexes, can they? I can imagine Mary Beth and co. choking at the fact that her note caused Draco to kiss the wrong girl.
Loved it. Especially in denial!Ginny.
Ginny Weasley was somewhat distracted these days.Category: Completed Short Stories
Brill, girl, absolutely brilliant. I loved the lecherous hags. :P And "swish his robes around like a ponce, or Snape". Poor Snape. He cops it bad, doesn't he?
Healer Malfoy and Nurse Ginny work at a clinic for low income wizarding families.Category: Works in Progress
Ooooh!!! :D I like it!
I like Ginny with attitude -- it suits her... and her hair. And it looks like Draco hasn't changed much. I wonder how she becomes his 'favourite nurse'? Probably because she has a backbone and won't dissolve into tears at him snapping at her. Lol.
*beams* I like this Draco... he's gorgeously charming.
Hehe... fate just isn't on Ginny's side today, is it? Poor girl...
Hehe... can't wait to see what happens next! I love it! New chappie soon, please?
Ginny watches Draco. Sometimes, he looks back.Category: Completed Short Stories
Eeep! Loved it loved it loved it! (I know this isn't too helpful, but am not currently able to be coherent.)
"You know, Weasley, I think I may like you." ^_^ *sighs happily at Draco being Draco*
Myn, absolutely *loved it*. ^_^ I can see Ginny growing up as the sort of gangly, awkward, almost Luna-like teenager as she is here after her CoS experience. Thank goodness Draco can see beneath the surface better than Harry can, eh?
I especially loved 'She didn't watch him because she enjoyed it, or even because she wanted to, although both were true. Rather, she watched him for the same reason that a magnet always pulls together with its opposite, or the reason why witchlight and water merge to make something that is neither, but something entirely different which serves as the base for the strongest potions. She couldn't resist it, and there was no use in trying - all that she could do was hope that it was only temporary, some sort of aberration, and that it would go away eventually, leaving her in peace.' Would you mind terribly if I posted it on my blog (with proper deference to you, of course!)?
We still have to talk about podcasts, sorry I haven't been around much. :$
Author's Response: Sure, knock yourself out. And don\'t worry about the podcast - I\'ve been so busy with schoolwork that I haven\'t. :P
Draco and Ginny have unofficially declared war until one day, Ginny discovers something about Draco that changes her whole perspective of him. *COMPLETE*Category: Long and Completed
Ooooh... let the games begin! Can't wait to read the next chapter... which I will do now.
I loved "I would do anything to have her attention on me, even if only for a few minutes." It makes Draco seem a bit desperate, but hey. Draco Malfoy obsessed with one Ginny Weasley might just turn out like that. You never know. Now I really do wonder what he would be like if he was obsessed with something that he couldn't have (ie not Pansy). Hmmmm...
Ahhh... Malfoy = Beatles fan, who woulda thought? But Draco saving Ginny was swoonworthy. One day, one day, some guy (who looks astonishingly like Malfoy) will save me from falling off a broomstick. :P *nods*
Aha! The confrontation! And then she ran away? But Draco was supposed to throw himself at her, bubbles and all, with a towel around his waist and snog her silly! ... I mean... *shifty eyes* Will keep reading!
I loved "Did he stock bottles of cologne that would send a girl crashing to her knees or what?" It's funny how big a part smell plays in whether you fall for a guy or you run away screaming (in the two extremes, of course). And now, we see what happens...
Yay! Happy ending! And with Harry ditched too. This is my type of ending! :D And I have the sudden urge to go listen to some Beatles. Tata! Thanks for writing! Enjoyed it muchly!
One day, Ginny wakes up to find herself married to Draco Malfoy and the mother of a 16 year old boy. If you knew who you were going to marry and how your life was going to turn out, what would you do?Category: Works in Progress
Not written in first person.
^_^ Loved it loved it loved it! Especially loved how Gin is instinctively Ben's mum and how she does a better job at it than Draco does. How are Draco, Harry and Hermione going to tell Ginny that her brother is dead without her falling to pieces like she did?
I can't wait to see what happens, even if you haven't updated in ages. Pretty please? When you find the time, of course. ^_^
A Vesica/Mynuet Collaboration. If Ginny had even the slightest inkling of what the day would bring, she probably would have called in sick. A disastrous press conference proved to be no match for the spin doctoring talents of Lush's chief and Ginny finds herself catapulted from being a lowly intern to the very eye of the storm, living a double life as a careerwitch and glamorous front woman for a racy new line. Throw in a few A-list events, a few dozen crises, an endless promotional tour with her new co-worker and the last person she wanted to spend time with, and a mystery waiting back home that neither of them may be able to solve….Every day's an adventure when you're living the Lush Life!Category: Works in Progress
Wow. Ginny went from the P.A. who flashed the world and embarrassed her boss to Executive Director of Lush's new Couture line in less than 2 weeks. *gasps* (Although admittedly, my sense of timing is all warped because so much more time passes with me than with them)
I love the way Ginny cooly handles every situation thrown her way no matter how bizarre and scary it looks. I have a feeling she gets it from Molly. I'm not really that surprised that Narcissa promoted her even with her lack of experience.
Looks like Draco and Ginny are getting along (although they were getting on before with the press conference *sighs at Ginny getting comfort from Draco*). Is it naughty of me to wiggle my eyebrows suggestively at the super secret meeting at Ginny's apartment? :P
Looking forward to seeing how Ginny handles her new responsibilities and working closely with Draco. Great chapter! ^_^ You made my day by posting it.
Author's Response: Ves says: Narcissa is no fool – that promotion keeps the gossip rags and publicity wheels churning – which is never a bad thing. Plus, Ginny really is pretty bright and talented here. Wiggle those brows all you like. Lord knows we are!
Myn says: Yeah, Ginny might feel flustered, but she never lets anyone see her sweat. (I typed swear the first time. No, she definitely lets people not affiliated with the press hear her swear if they piss her off.)
Five Death Eaters in training meet utter defeat at the hands of a Weasley girl who knows the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.Category: Long and Completed
I love this fic, Sharlene. Mostly because I use the same thing as Ginny -- threaten not to cook for the boys if they don't behave. *sigh* I wish it worked as well for me as it did for her. And am soooo craving meringue kisses now. ^_^
*Winner of the Draco/Ginny Fanfiction Award for Best Novel Length Story.* "Perhaps not everything is as black and white as it appears. Perhaps, even my father was tangled in a web of his own emotions, and in the end it spelled his death. Perhaps I too will share his fate, dying not for the cause I believe in, but for that which I cannot foresee." The ever weaving threads of our own decisions can lead to irrevocable knots, and when Lucius Malfoy is destroyed by unexpected forces, his son, Draco, is thrown into a world of political intrigue, insatiable passion and desperate gambits, opening doors he never thought to look for, and creating a life he never thought he would have as his own.Category: Long and Completed
I love that Cathy quote! Although I *do* wish you'd kept on going. It's such a sad book, Wuthering Heights.
I love how you haven't changed Draco much. And how there's a ton of animosity between him and the Weasleys (especially Ron) even though they've helped him so much. That's the self-centred prat of a Draco I know. I wonder how much help living with the Weasleys will do him?
I can't believe he hasn't cracked and done something to express his emotions yet. But I guess Malfoys don't cry, do they?
I like it so far -- and if I didn't have to go to bed, I'd keep on reading. Maybe tomorrow.
Ginny struggles with Draco's choice of becoming a Death Eater and joining Voldemort over his love for her. Stark and angst ridden.Category: Completed Short Stories
Loved it. I normally don't like angst, but I absolutely loved this one. ^_^ My heart goes out to Ginny and Draco and wow.
Ginny, Draco, Quidditch, and entirely too close quarters. Being forced to train, play, and live with Draco for a season gives Ginny a whole new understanding of and appreciation for the amazing bouncing ferret. Ginny's POV.Category: Long and Completed
ARGH! I was surfing through jandjsalmon's Featured list and came across this. I thought "Why not?" and you completely sucked me in. Well done! I absolutely loved this story and it's going in my favourites. I fell in love with Draco again too (not that you can fall OUT of love with him, our love's just been a bit stagnant recently :P).
I loved how Draco's confession of love just slipped out and how Ginny just STARED and then they started arguing. *giggles* But my favourite bit was me smirking knowledgeably at what I knew was going to happen and them being completely oblivious to the whole falling in love bit. Did I say I loved it? Thanks for a great read!
Ginny receives a letter from Draco early one morning. The information it contains will change her life forever. Previous one shot - now with a brief sequel from Draco's POV and perhaps more... Angst and Romance.Category: Completed Short Stories
*heart breaks* Poor Ginny. Poor Draco.
Author's Response: Yes, this story is a heart breaker. Thanks for your review, die Loreley. -fallenwitch
In the Anise-verse, Draco and Ginny have a bond that can never be broken. Here's the ungodly long fic where it all began. It features clock towers, time travel, sixteenth century Scotland, Suleiman the Magnificent, harems, Grindelwald, long sea voyages, Immortals, the Hand of Glory, and lots of UST. ;) Warning: My penchant for history is fully explored!Category: Works in Progress
Nooooooooo! What?! "Then he knew no more"? What happened?
Loved Draco/Ginny snogging on a stone bench. :P Too bad the girl "came to her senses", then proceeded to present herself in that state to her brother. What was she thinking?! I wouldn't be surprised if Ron locks her up in some tower for all eternity.
Sick of Draco and Ginny getting stuck in a closet? Especially when they always seem to have room to have sex? Well, so are they...Category: Completed Short Stories
Hehe... I see Draco and Ginny plotting to kill us. :P
Author's Response: ginny and draco wouldn\'t plot to kill us! :o they\'d scheme and put their plan into action!!! mwah ha ha ha ha ha ... :p lol
It's an old spell and an older oath, and Draco Malfoy would have laughed them off were he not in his present situation. Things being as they are, however, being married to Ginny Weasley might just be the answer to his problems. Pre-HBP.Category: Long and Completed
Ooooooooooooh!!! *squeals* I loved it! Your take on Draco and Ginny's relationship has always been absolutely spot on -- but now that they've gotten everything out in the open, it's *perfect*. ^_^
I thought that last chapter was the last but I'm very, *very* glad that you wrote an epilogue. It was very well written, and I'm sad it's all over. Have you got another story in mind?
