A Vesica/Mynuet Collaboration. If Ginny had even the slightest inkling of what the day would bring, she probably would have called in sick. A disastrous press conference proved to be no match for the spin doctoring talents of Lush's chief and Ginny finds herself catapulted from being a lowly intern to the very eye of the storm, living a double life as a careerwitch and glamorous front woman for a racy new line. Throw in a few A-list events, a few dozen crises, an endless promotional tour with her new co-worker and the last person she wanted to spend time with, and a mystery waiting back home that neither of them may be able to solve….Every day's an adventure when you're living the Lush Life!Category: Works in Progress
I love the idea of Draco being totally incompetent and anything related to accounting. Of course, it's possible that he is actually a whiz at it, and just wants an opportunity to spend lots and lots of time with Ginny. After all, she did steal his cut-out. :) Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: Ves and Myn say: The world may never know...thanks and thrilled you are enjoying this!
It's his last summer holiday before leaving Hogwarts and Draco is in agony over missing Ginny. A wonderful discovery in his father's library gives him the power to be with her...but who will pay the price for the ghastly mistake he overlooks?Category: Works in Progress
I'm glad to see you are writing this story again! I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm sure it won't go according to plan, though. Thanks for the update.
Author's Response: I was so frustrated for so long that I just had to post the chapter and get on with it. Hopefully I won\'t be so stuck through the rest of it. I\'m so anxious to write more!
It's nice to see a new chapter of this story, and it is especially nice that Ginny and Draco are back together again. I'm sure their troubles aren't over yet, though! Thanks for the update.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! (and whatever gives you the idea their troubles aren\'t over? *grin*)
"Because she wasn't overly anything to anyone, she came to mean something to me."Category: Completed Short Stories
I'm fairly sure I haven't read this before, though I'm not sure how I missed it. Anyway, fallenwitch sent me here, promising good fluff, and I have to say that she was absolutlely right on. This is wonderful. I had to read the story a second time right away, even. I love Draco's dawning realization of his emotions, and his acceptance of them once he figures them out. And I always love it when Fred and George get blindsided by their own pranks! Thank you very much for this story!
Five Death Eaters in training meet utter defeat at the hands of a Weasley girl who knows the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.Category: Long and Completed
This is absolutely hilarious. I lost track of the number of times I burst out laughing. Thank you for this story! It made my day.
There are some things a husband should never forget.Category: Long and Completed
This chapter is hilarious! I love Arthur as sage.
Ginny can't forget what they had, and before she moves on, she has to know if he remembers.Category: Works in Progress
"She’d thought the shoes were lost to her forever. Of course, she’d thought the same about Draco." Ooh--I love the way this chapter ends. So much promise for the future. I'm looking forward to what comes next...
You did a great job in building the tension in this chapter. I can't wait to see what comes next...
Masterless, loyal to nothing and no one, Draco still has one tie that he cannot abandon - his marriage in name only to Ginny Weasley.Category: Long and Completed
This story has sucked me in completely. I really like the play of past and present, and how uncertain the reader is (or at least I am!) of what anything *really* means.
Dean Thomas likes to watch people.Category: Completed Short Stories
This story so short, and yet everything that needs to be there is there. Great job!
Draco Malfoy, cynic extraordinaire, on his least favourite holiday of the year. Add one feisty Weaslette and way too much pink for his taste, and the results may be surprising. One-shot!Category: Completed Short Stories
This is lots of fun! Especially for someone who grumbles about Valentine's Day myself.
Sex and men are never easy...Category: Long and Completed
I like all the nervousness here... I think you are doing a good job at capturing the "reality" of the situation. I guess, I'll just have to wait and see, though, won't I?
You did succeed in making this story realistic! It really is quite refreshing...
Hermione decides to organize a masquerade ball, and she’s involved both Draco and Ginny in the plans. But the night of the ball turns out unexpectedly for both of them.Category: Long and Completed
The idea of a masquerade ball has been used many times before, but you have done a good job of making it something different. Ginny and Draco's reluctance to take part, but finding something good in it is quite nice. I look forward to see what happens now that the ball is over...
What a cute story! And I think you ended it in just the right place. It is full of promise...
*Winner of the Draco/Ginny Fanfiction Award for Best Novel Length Story.* "Perhaps not everything is as black and white as it appears. Perhaps, even my father was tangled in a web of his own emotions, and in the end it spelled his death. Perhaps I too will share his fate, dying not for the cause I believe in, but for that which I cannot foresee." The ever weaving threads of our own decisions can lead to irrevocable knots, and when Lucius Malfoy is destroyed by unexpected forces, his son, Draco, is thrown into a world of political intrigue, insatiable passion and desperate gambits, opening doors he never thought to look for, and creating a life he never thought he would have as his own.Category: Long and Completed
This is a lovely story. So much intricate detail. And you capture the characters' emotions really well. I am looking forward to reading more.
Author's Response: Gee, thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it.
'"This is all wrong..." she whispered aloud, even as she ran a hand down his slender arm.
"This is all very wrong."
She tangled her fingers with his.'
Ah...this is wonderful! The denial, and yet, fate moves forward. I really love your character development.
Author's Response: Thanks. I just took it slow.
I think I like this story better every chapter. You seem to increase the layers of emotion between Draco and Ginny a little more each time. I can't wait to see what will happen when Harry gets added to the mix...
Author's Response: I believe in taking things slow. Too many people lunge from chapter to chapter like a runaway train, and they loose pieces along the way.
I love Draco in this chapter--in every way the Slytherin Prince. I have to admit that after the fifth book, I don't see Ginny as naive or innocent at all, but I am willing to see where you are going with it.
Author's Response: Thank you. Give her time. She'll grow.
I love Draco's torment in this chapter. But my favorite line is: "He was a whiny thing. All he did was cry and snivel." Hee-hee! How appropriate...
Author's Response: You've got to love Snape. He's wonderful.
Oh! That was absolutely breath-taking! One of the most beautiful sex scenes I have ever read. Wow!
On a much more mundane note, I really like your characterization of Goyle. That he is both more intellegent and more compassionate than expected is really quite refreshing.
Author's Response: I'm glad you like Gregory. And thank you for the high praise about the sex scene. I was worried it wasn't 'smutty' enough for smut, but it was more for the emotional then the physical anyway.
I love the structure of this chapter. It helps you set the mood perfectly. Now that all the players are lined up, I can't wait to see what happens when the storm breaks.
Author's Response: Thanks! This chapter was structured a bit differently to add a sort of voyeuristic quality. We're peeking into each individuals lives. I kept thinking of them in terms of colors, strangely enough... Ron/Orange, Pansy/Purple, Harry/Red, Hermione/Blue, Snape/Green, Blaise/Grey, Draco/Ginny/Black... Also, I wanted to contrast how everyone else is worrying and fretting, and D and G are just... Drifting.
Draco's wistfullness is lovely in this chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks! :)
Well, I can't say I find the ending very satisfying, but that is clearly on purpose. And at this point I hate practically all of the characters. But even so, this is one of the best written and most compelling stories I have read, and I will avidly read the sequel (which I hope will come soon!). Thank you very much for the story. Please write more.
Author's Response: Hate all the characters?!?? Why?!?! Please share with me why. I'm completely blown away. I loved Draco, in all his nasty Malfoy ways. I loved Ginny for being a young, betrayed girl. I loved Blaise for his heartbreak. I loved Snape for his lonliness. I loved Ron for his loyalty. I loved Harry for his honor. I loved Hermione for her growing up. I loved Goyle for his subtle wisdom... I loved writing about them all! Please let me know why you hate them all...
As the war rages on, Ginny finds herself in prison underneath Draco Malfoy. The Dark Lord's prison is the stuff nightmare's are made of, but a chain of events causes the feelings to start changing. *COMPLETED* This is basically my own recreation of While You Were Sleeping by Burgosdamsco, which is an awesome story, just not finished yet. And yes, I did have her permission!Category: Long and Completed
This story has a lot of promise. You do a good job of capturing the anguish of the prison. Very disturbing!
