I once said I'd never read or write an angst fic, which was moronic of me, because 90% of the things I read and write in fanon are angsty.

BUT a good humor fic is equally nice.

I mostly ship D/G, but Tonks/Remus and George/Luna are favorites as well.

I can't even attempt to throw a guess at why a man whom so many people assumed would be the next Minister of Magic was arrested. But then again, Rufus Scrimgeour's an idiot and so unless Arthur's done something completely heinous, I have hope that he'll be set free.

Thanks for the lovely batch of chapters; I look forward to the next.

This Promise is strange to me for two reasons. The first is that the terms are strange: it is a semi-vow entered into by friends - something I could hardly consider Hermione, Ginny, and Harry.

Secondly, their "friendship" is in absolutely tatters in the aftermath of Voldemort's defeat - Harry is violent at best with Ginny. But she went through with her part of the plan, so why is he still so upset with her?

In this story, Harry makes me so sick. Hermione was the one who even dreamed up the idea of the love potion, yet Ginny is the one who gets treated like absolute trash. Arg. I'm off to the next chapter.

This was a moment I was waiting for. Of course, I'd love it if Draco and Ginny just forgot about everything and decided that they were, in fact, madly in love and would forgive each other for everything. But that isn't going to happen.

But, this brief connection between them gives me some sort of hope that they'll begin to understand each other a bit more, and understand each other's motives.

Thanks again for the rapid succession of chapters; I sometimes forget that summer doesn't always mean a complete reprieve from Real Life. I hope that everything works out though, and I look forward to reading the next chapter you release, whenever it may come.

Wow. Wow. Wow.

What is there to say except for, once more, 'wow'. I never, NEVER would have guessed - who could have guessed???? And just, all of the ironies: that SNURK is Hermione's CHILD/THING, first off, and secondly, that any child/thing of Hermione's could fall in love with a Death Eater - but not just any Death Eater. Bellatrix Lestrange. How on God's green earth did Hermione get out of there? How did she teach him all of what he knows and how did no one find out???? Wow.

It seems unfair to me that even after everything, Harry and Hermione should be angry with Ginny. Granted, the plan that they had to use Ginny in order to bring Draco down was instrumental in winning against Voldemort, but that's just it - they used Ginny. Even if they're stuck in Azkaban at the moment, I don't doubt that they'd end up reliving their guilt in some other way, whether it be dreams or anything else; so why are they so resistant to the idea of the Soul Ceremony?

Wow; that's incredibly interesting. I hadn't thought that Harry and Hermione would have anything to do with "setting Draco free" and restoring his soul, but it definitely does make sense.

I don't think that Ginny would have gone through with it (though who can say what she would have done to end the war?), if Harry hadn't cajoled her and guilted her into doing it in the first place. In that way, I can see how he's tied into the whole thing. I can also see that Hermione ignored Ginny's problems - especially when she was going to stay with Harry at the cabin - which affects Ginny. But I don't see how that would connect to Draco.

I suppose that everything will be cleared up in time; I've got loads of questions, though, and I'm looking forward to finding out what happens.

Ah. I don't know who's more excited for Draco and Ginny's reunion - the two of them, or me!

But anyway, even though it almost sounds as though Snape has resigned himself to the thought of his impending death, it also shows that he's given a lot of thought to it, and hopefully, his musings, along with Draco, Hermione, and Ginny's findings will give some sort of solution. (I can't believe that I'm actually rooting for Snape's life - only for this story!).

Thanks for the speedy updates!

I thought that Bellatrix was finished causing mischief, but maybe she isn't. OR, it could be that someone else is skulking around the castle. Ginny certainly knew how to get in easily enough. So if Ginny wasn't the one to get the tree - she's too ill to go walking around yet, the only person I can think of is Hermione.
And why would she want the tree?

Anyway, nice chapter. I wonder who Andrew is, though.

Even with Draco's realism, I can't help but hold out hope that somehow on this green earth, that there is some itty-bitty, teensy-weensy semblance of a happy ending. The last two chapters very nearly brought me to tears -- I can't lie. It was an incredibly close thing. And I'l probably die if something more happened to Draco and Ginny.

Ah. But realistically, I know it won't end up with sunshines, huggs, kisses, and Papa John's pizza. Realism sucks.

I'm soo excited for the next few chapters to come up.

Oh, god. I have no idea what could have happened, but I'm actually terrified. I have to go on to the next chapter.

By the way, this one was written beatifully. It really was, especially the scene when Draco first did the corporealis that Bellatrix taught him, and when he kissed Ginny and became real just for a moment.

It's kind of weird; I must admit that I expected Draco to suddenly have been seen as the very epitome of good, and have gotten off scot free. At least you're more realistic than I am, lol.

Really nice descriptions of the gods. I'd probably be shaking too.

Wow. I can't believe Harry actually thought those things. I can understand that bitterness and anger at Hermione and Ginny for the potion probably hit him completely and utterly off guard, but I'm just surprised he voiced those thoughts to Ginny; that it was her duty. I see, though, that she probably wouldn't have done it if she didn't feel a strong sense of guilt and obligation for what she did.

It seems like no one's really won anything, except for the fact that Voldemort's dead - which is always nice.

It's cool to see that you're tying this story into the rest of the 'Aniseverse'. Did you plan this, or did the story just spring up in your mind and there was a great opening here for another facet of the whole JotH, etc., Universe? I'm just wondering, because I love it.

Nice chapter. I hope Draco's inattentiveness doesn't come back to kick him in the ass later on.

I'm really glad that Draco's happy, even though he always seems like he's slightly off balance - though it's not difficult to imagine why.

The thing that disturbs me is that Ginny seems happy also... Does she have something up her sleeve...?

I feel really twisted saying this, but in an odd way I hope that the curse works on Hermione. Not to the extent that she loses her mind, or suffers horribly, but just so that Draco is able to get some kind of credibility with the rest of the Death Eaters. After the end of the sixth book, I feel like he's lost so much of it, and to go through all of this trouble - torturing Hermione and what not, throwing 'Bella' out before she got a chance to have her way with him - and not end up with anything would be awful.

I have a sinking feeling, though, that he won't be able to summon up enough hate to go through with the curse.

Anyway, Happy New Year! Thanks for the new chapter.

I love reading stories that are set during the war, but I find them incredibly depressing at the same time. Seeing where everyone is (except for Harry) at the moment is really nice - and obviously the DG interaction has me coming back for more. But I always hope against hope that something good will happen. Draco and Ginny escaping somehow and being all right. But in a world that's obviously dominated by the Death Eaters, there doesn't seem to be much hope at all. Anyway, I'm loving what you've done so far and am excited for the next chapter.

I love the mystic sort of turn that this story is taking. Yes, I know that Draco's not dead and a ghost, but there's something eerily romantic (albeit really sad) about him having to relive his last moments with her in order to reach her. I loved the scene where he first projects himself to her. It was really beautiful, actually.

I don't know what's up Draco's sleeve, but it's probably something that will no doubt infuriate most people, possibly even Snape. For a moment I wondered if the person who was thought to be dead was Dumbledore, but then I came to my senses and realized that sadly, I doubt he's coming back very strongly.

So, as this story is loosely connected to the rest of your stories, could the living person be Draco's mother Narcissa? That's the only person I can think of who might have an effect on Draco. Once again, nice chapter. Poor Draco.

Hmm; another interesting (and speedy!) chapter. With each (canon) book, we truly see how insecure Hermione actually is, and you've shown that here. She probably would have brought Snurk with her, had Draco not said how gross and vile and embarassed men would be of a woman who was raped by Dementors - and then to have a child like Snurk. I feel really bad for Hermione, actually. It's weird because I haven't lately, with all of the theories of the love potion and her general disregard for anything she deems improper. I don't hate her by any means, but I do think that she'll need to be taken down a peg or two in canon...

Anyway, enough of my thinking aloud! I wonder what Harry and Ginny will think of Draco's one-sided conversation with Crabbe. Although he obviously sounds like he's gone a little crazy, what with his frantic-ness, it's undeniable that he has some kind of "morals"...it could just be my love of all things Draco speaking, though.

Yet again, a nice chapter.

Oh, this was such a nice chapter; I loved it.

Ron is one of my favorite characters, and it's good to that you've shown he's not an ogre, or an imbecile, and that he can grow up, just like everyone else.

I adore him.

The ending with Draco prettying himself up for Ginny was cute, but in a very calm way. He knows that he's attractive, even after being so close to death, and that she really did respond to him on the Death Train even under the circumstances.

I like the idea that he can just relax with her, and go to sleep. It's so simple.

Yet again, nice chapter - and so quickly!

The fact that Draco seems so sure that nothing will happen to Snape, Ginny, or himself makes me think that indeed, something will happen.

I just hope that no one dies...

I definitely did not see that coming.

I've suspected Dakotah for awhile, but even though Les is dead now, I'm still not sure what to think. I thought before that someone might have been getting to him slowly, because he'd changed so much in 6 months - Ginny was understandable, but I thought something must have been happening to him. But either way, I'll find out next chapter, I suppose.

Aside from all of those thoughts, the last scene was wonderfully steamy. Great job.

Misconceptions by Hearts Cadence    (Reviews - 704)

That was wonderful!!!! I don't even know what to say, really!!! I should have said this in the last chapter, but I couldn't stop - my heart stopped when Blaise was hit, and it was a full minute before I remembered that he had the shield on him.

I'm glad Harry has a happy ending. That scene was really cute. And I'm very happy that Draco's had some revelations of his own. Brilliant story. This was amazing, and I've enjoyed it enormously.
