Awww, poor Draco. All alone.

brilliant idea. I hope he makes a hiding place in the small hole...enlarging it and what not.

I adore the last line of this chapter, "Better drunk than insane, he told himself." What normal stressed out older teen doesn't think that to himself every now and again? I think if I were put in Draco's position, I would do the same thing. It's a brilliant, realistic response to being cooped up in a shack for the duration.

I'm so glad I've finally had a chance to read this story! It was absolutely worth the wait! You've got me hooked! You’ve built up a wonderful plot, that’s coherent and well developed, you really made me feel in tune with the other characters you've created, and they’re not just shadowy figures but developed and believable! I look forward to reading more!

Wow. Better drunk than insane. I luv that. It kinda strikes me as deep, ya know? Anyway, I luv your story. I've been following it since a while back last year, and I really can't wait to see how it all plays out. Thx for the great story and plz keep updating!!!

I guess I was a bit too harsh about McGonagall, I wasn't thinking about what he did last year or the fact that she hasn't seen any other side of Draco. I'm ashamed to say I was being quite closed-minded, but you've straightened me out (^.^)
Anywho, the plot is moving on nicely, I feel slimy everytime Pierce touches or talks to Ginny as well, and I'm wondering if Nott might not be as bad as I had originally thought. Then again I could be totally off track in that regard, he still makes me uneasy. You definitely have a gift with building up tension and anticipation. I'm also curious as to what is going on with Harry & Co and I wonder how Ginny will interact with Harry now that her feelings aren't the same. As always, I look forward to your next update, and thanks for updating so quickly!

Just when are you going to update?
I'm not trying to hurry you by being pushy or anything like that, I'm just honestly curious about when you'll be updating. I love this story. I think that what I love mots about it is the fact that sometimes I wonder if Ginny and Draco are ever going to get together. I know, I know, this is a Draco&Ginny site, but still your story is so easy to forget that Draco and Ginny will end up together...if that makes any sense at all.
Author's Response: Thanks a ton for the compliments, and as to updating, that varies. I JUST updated yesterday, and I generally take one to two weeks, but this is shaping up to be one hectic week, so I definitely wouldn't expect to see anything until Saturday (at the very earliest).

I wonder if Pierce noticed that Ginny had no broom with her. Do they always leave them in the shed? Just a thought. I can't remember if she keeps it in the shed or in her rom. I suppose I shall have to read back.
Draco really needs to teach her how to mask her thoughts. It would really help her in the long run if people couldn't read her like a book. Though at the moment what I am most interested in is what Nott is up to. He seemed like an interesting character before and he is just getting more and more interesting as the story progresses. Anyway.... Happy writing!

WHY IS DRACO DRAWING IN SOME RANDOM DIARY THAT HE'S FOUND LYING IN A SUSPICIOUSLY SECRETIVE PLACE??? Ginny would kill him if she knew!
I wouldn't be so paranoid, but the pace of the story seems to heading fairly quickly towards some kind of catastrophe, and...well...that's the wrong time for our protagonists to do stupid things!!
Otherwise, I liked this chapter. It was actually nice to see Nott again. You do a really good job of portraying GInny's vulnerability, now that she's got these conniving Slytherins to handle all on her own. It's very scary. She is doing an amazing job so far, isn't she? I hope it holds up!
It's always such a pleasure to read a new chapter. Can't wait for the next one!! (Guess I must, though)

Im worried that the book belongs to Pierce or something but a housewife diary?? If only you included some excerpt from that diary, then maybe we'll see if Draco's random guess is correct. Anyways, my brain's not really working now so cheerio! Lucky me really, I was just thinking abt this fic like an hour ago and when I logged in, here it was all updated! HEHEHE. Peace.

Wonderful chapter. I want to know what Nott is up to...I don't know whether to trust him or gut him. Poor Draco, stuck in a one room hut. Is there more to that journal? Can't wait for more.

Thanks for the clarification in the author's note. I'd totally forgotten about his plan to hide out near the school. *facepalm* Great chapter. I can't wait until Ginny realizes that she's deeply, madly in love with Draco.

Excellent chapter! I loved the dream sequence... very steamy! Keep up the great work.

Poor Draco. There's a reason that solitary confinement is an extra punishment for those already in jail. :(

What is Nott up to?! His staring at Ginny is quite disturbing, to say the least. I'm loving the progression of the relationship- Ginny's still in denial, but she's getting there ;). Another lovely chapter!
