A Vesica/Mynuet Collaboration. If Ginny had even the slightest inkling of what the day would bring, she probably would have called in sick. A disastrous press conference proved to be no match for the spin doctoring talents of Lush's chief and Ginny finds herself catapulted from being a lowly intern to the very eye of the storm, living a double life as a careerwitch and glamorous front woman for a racy new line. Throw in a few A-list events, a few dozen crises, an endless promotional tour with her new co-worker and the last person she wanted to spend time with, and a mystery waiting back home that neither of them may be able to solve….Every day's an adventure when you're living the Lush Life!Category: Works in Progress
I have no idea why I've never read this story before. I'm a huge fan of Mynuet and only recently found the awesomeness of Vesica, so shame on me for taking so long to read this!
It's absolutely wonderful! I love the whole professional side of Draco, it's somehow as hot as his snarky one. It's a good change to see Ginny as his equal in business, the whole 'Weasley under Malfoy' is getting a bit old. In job positions, I mean. *grins*
Witty writing, lovely characterizations, different ambiance, interesting plot... Wow, I could go all day babbling on about why you guys have managed to get the whole thing working here! It makes all the time I spend looking for good fanfics (and end up reading mostly crap) worth it.
Oh, and you should advise your readers not to drink anything while reading this. My poor keyboard almost drowned on water in that first chapter (I tried to avoid splashing my monitor by ducking my head, but this only ended up making the keyboard the victim). I wonder why they don’t make these things waterproof. *sighs*
Anyway, I’ve babbled enough already. You two are doing an excellent job here, and I’ll keep an eye to catch all the next updates. I’m really anxious to see what will take to those two hard headed fools realize how madly in love with each other they already are. Well not already, but hopefully will be very soon ;)
Author's Response: Ves says: *blushes* Um, hi. Though I could hug you for seeing the HOT of professional Draco! I totally agree that Ginny and Draco as working equals isn’t done enough. Showing them both as bright and capable – hot! We are a little bad about leaving off the laugh warnings – sorry you found out the hard way. Glad you are enjoying this one and don’t even ask when those two will wake up!\r\n
Myn says: Oh, dear. I recommend silicone keyboards – those things really are waterproof, although ultimately not Milo-proof. And yes, professional Draco is uber-hot. *nods firmly*\r\n
Draco and Pansy like to play games. What happens when a Polyjuice Plan goes wrong?Category: Works in Progress
hahaha, I loved the chapter!
and I'm almost sorry for Draco now. almost. I hope he realizes what a prat he's been soon. this story is so much fun!
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m glad you liked it.
Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
I just can't not love this story, it's completely breathtaking. Lovely chapter, I’m glad Hermione came over and she and Ginny figured things out. And I loved so much that Draco held his tongue and didn’t insult her, for Ginny’s benefit. He’s becoming a pretty decent person, the Ferret. Or maybe he’s just completely besotted with Ginny. (I’m hoping it’s the latter, since I have this big thing for Prat!Draco)
I also adored that they talked about their past, and are getting to really know each other. And that almost-fight they had made me all giddy, because their interaction keeps getting better and sweeter at each chapter.
Keep up the wonderful job!
Author's Response: Bwah, no, don't worry, this Draco will never become entirely sweet and nice *g* I think 'besotted' is a good term, though. :) Thank you so much for your lovely review, I'm happy you enjoyed this chapter and hope the next ones will live up to expectations!
Oh no! I hate you, really! *cries*
Ok, I don't hate you at all, but how could you end it like that? Poor Draco and Ginny, just when I thought everything was going to be fine between them...
I'm lacking words to say how wonderful this chapter was. It's probably my favorite in the whole story. Their interaction, Draco's speech, Draco's thoughts and possessiveness about Ginny... Everything was just perfect - really well balanced.
And I know someone who should have been sorted in Slytherin you evil, evil girl! *grins*
I hope you update soon, and I really hope Draco and Ginny are ok.
Author's Response: Lol, I love being slightly evil to our favourite characters. They need a bit of drama to balance out the romance :) Thank you so much!

I just... I really don't have any words right now to review this.
Absolutely gorgeous, that's all I really have to say.
Thank you so much for writing things like these and making D/G the best ship ever.
Draco gets caught red-handed.Category: Completed Short Stories
A Halloween Hogwarts era jumbo-size D/G drabble.
Poor Draco. ;) He's helpless when it comes to that sweet red-headed girl we all know and love.
I LOVED it. Thank you for this, it definately took my moodiness away.
Author's Response: Draco crumbles at the feet of Ginny. :) Thank you so much for reading!

I just love this ficlet. I've read it about 5 times already and it always makes me smile and get giddy all over.
Author's Response: 5 times? Really? That makes me all giddy! Thanks for reviewing! ;)
Written for the 2006 DG_Smutakkah fic exchange. It hasn’t always been an easy road for them, but sometimes it takes getting really good and lost to find the way home again.Category: Long and Completed
This fic is turning out great, I'm loving it! I love the contrast between their relationship in the past and in the present. It was strange, at first, because they started talking, and now it's strange because they're stopping doing it. Wonderful job!
I'll keep an eye every tuesday for the updates, can't miss them!
And thanks for the iniciative to post it here before the mod at dg_smutakkah does it there - I'm pretty sad it hasn't been updated, I miss those gorgeous D/Gs
Author's Response: Yeah, as I have been editing - it\'s sort of funny how they always seem to be moving in opposite directions in the two timeframes. I didn\'t really do that one purpose, but it works. And yeah - the Smut Exchange - I have no clue. I got off my high horse and wrote a slightly confused/annoyed note to the mods and nada. *shrugs* I am thinking of opening a betting pool on the odds I post parts 6/7 here before the whole thing ever shows up on LJ. We shall see! ~Ves
"Considering the spectacular view, Draco was now wondering why they didn’t have this conversation more often."
Draco's such a boy, *grins*
Poor older Gin, though. I hope she and Draco can work things out. And yay! for not-cheater!Draco.
Still loving every damn word of this story. I can't wait for you to finish updating it!
Author's Response: He is. What with the crushing hormones and all. Didn\'t stand a chance. :P
Thanks for taking the time to comment and glad the temporary angst hasn\'t scared you off! ~Ves
God, you got me crying in the middle of the first 'page down'. WONDERFUL chapter, really.
I won't ramble, though, 'cause I've got one more to read and I'm quite anxious.
Author's Response: *hands you a tissue* OH NO! No crying!! Unless it\'s good crying. ~Ves
ok, I've said it a lot, but it feels like I haven't said it enough times: this story is wonderful. I loved every word of it. You did an amazing job! And this final chapter was so incredibly sweet (and HOT, I might need a glass of cold water now. Or a cold shower.)
Thank you for this fanfic! ;D
Author's Response: I am SO glad you\'ve enjoyed this!! Your comments have made me grin all the way through. This one sort of had a life of it\'s own - but I suppose that\'s good considering how it turned out. ~Ves
Draco is behaving strangely. Ginny is becoming upset. Whatever may be going on? ;-) Christmas fluff, written for Persephone33!Category: Completed Short Stories
This is so cute! I loved every moment of it. Draco is so... Draco, I guess. *giggles* And I also loved Lucius.
Thank you for this one shot! It definitely made my evening a whole lot better.
Author's Response: I\'m glad it did! Thank you for letting me know you liked it.
Draco and Ginny in a dark, post-War romance. Draco stumbles around. Ginny catches him, sort of.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was absolutely beautiful! Completely heartbreaking - but in a good way. Or maybe it's just my PMS that made me this crying mess, *grins*
You have a wonderful way with words, keep up the lovely job!
Who knew happily-ever-after could have an expiration date? New beginnings are hard, but when they happen in the middle of your life, they're infinitely more so.Category: Works in Progress
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I actually feel sorry for Harry and Ginny. *gasps*
But I'm sure Draco will reappear in the next chapters and everything in my brain will go back to order. By the way, I loved that line about Draco's receding hairline being only in Harry's imagination. I can't ever forgive J.K. for writing that - as if Malfoy men could ever be bald!
Anyway, you've got a nice story going on in here, I'll be sure to follow up the next chapters.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it so far, and believe me, you\'re not alone- every D/G shipper across the planet groaned at the mention of Draco\'s receding hairline in the epilogue. But I will not be tied down by JKR\'s hatred of our favorite blond. :)
