I have made a New Years Resolution and that is to stop posting stories that I am unable to finish. The only way to accomplish this, I believe, is to write out complete stories and then post them. Otherwise, I just stop believing in myself and criticize myself to the point of never wanting to write again. Therefore, hopefully, I will never be forced to delete a WIP again. In any case, cheers mates, and spread the DG love.
After Harry’s death, Ginny Potter fled the wizarding world. Now, ten years later, she has returned and has to face her family, the press, and the prospect of a new romance.Category: Long and Completed
Winding down? Oh no! Well, this has been one helluva ride so far. I can't even begin to tell you how well you write because the words probably would not be enough. Excellent chapter, and I'm glad that Ginny has finally seen the light.
"The jealous looks made Ginny nervous, but also made her feel a little smug." Well, she certainly has cause to feel smug. This has truly been an excellent fic. You obviously have a lot of talent -- your patience with the characters in letting the attraction develop naturally was refreshing, and I especially enjoyed the way that you wrote Evan. I think it would be awfully hard to be Harry Potter's son, even if he was alive. Your Evan was mature and childish at the same time, very human. It helps that I have a huge crush on anything Weasley (possibly excepting Percy :P), but I loved the way you handled everyone's specific reactions. I suppose this is enough rambling, but anyway, you are a brilliant writer, and I will definitely look forward to reading both the epilogue and anything you have planned for the future.
Ginny's got a secret with silver hair and a Dark Mark, and it's her fiancee that finds out. This is the result of me listening to the Killer's Mr Brightside 1000 times. Not really a song fic though cause I don't like those.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was beautifully written and very real. I love that song.
Ginny is looking for summer cash. Draco is looking for summer fun. Neither realize what they will eventually find.Category: Works in Progress
Heh, Draco Malfoy IS sex walking. Anyway, great beginning...this fic is going to be very interesting. I like this characterization of Ginny - feisty and in all honesty somewhat bitchy, but there so much more to her than that. And Draco's still a total punk, but there's something going on under the surface. Nice job so far.
Author's Response: I like to see them in my head like some old movie. I can picture the attraction and the conditioned response to flee that Ginny displays. Draco has long since gotten over his dislike of Weasleys. Well, one iin particular. You will find out more later.
Beautifully-written. As hard as it was for you to write, you did portray the trauma well. Continue soon.
**Completed** Ginny can't figure out why Draco is watching her all the time. When both of them lose parts of their families, they are forced together. But Ginny still has to deal with Tom & his obsession with her. Sorry guys, I'm awful at summaries!Category: Long and Completed
This is very good so far. I'm still a little confused about Draco's motivations, but I'm sure they will become clearer later. Continue soon.
Life after Hogwarts was a mystery to Ginny Weasley, until one night she spent in the arms of Draco Malfoy changed everything. Now she has to deal with the unforseeable consequences. Will she be able to handle the hand fate had dealt her with?Category: Works in Progress
Uh oh, Ginny! Damn Draco and his being a confused whore. Continue soon.
Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley both encounter a quite unsettling sight, and they finally agree on something. But is everything really what it seems?Category: Works in Progress
Very interesting beginning! I love it when Draco makes the first move.
When Ginny turns 15, she hopes for a brand new, spanking clean existence, with no more pain, no more crying, and definitely no more nightmares. But her 5th year is starting to look like the worst yet, and her only hope seems to be an invisible friend who won't even tell her his name...Category: Works in Progress
I'm interested to see where you're going to go with this. Continue soon.
Draco's wife has passed away and made one last request: Having a surrogate witch have a baby for him. She wants him to have the whole experience of pregnancy that he could never have with her, so she asks for the witch to live with him during the 9 months. What will happen when Ginny Weasley is that witch? And what will happen when she finds out that the dreams that have been haunting her sleep have everything to do with Draco?Category: Works in Progress
This is an intriguing beginning. I'm interested in seeing where you take it. Nice work.
Author's Response: thank you so much :) I thought about taking it shopping... just kidding :) I'm a little sleepy and acting goofy. Thanks a bunch for the review :)
Ginny Weasley is sent to stay with her grandparents until the war ends, as her parents want to keep her out of harm's way. Her grandparents have another guest, another person in hiding, and a relationship quickly blossoms between them. However, with the war and so many secrets around them, Ginny isn't sure how to make it work. Fluffy occasionally, but things can't always be perfect, can they? Decisions have to be made and consequences dealt with.Category: Works in Progress
For a fleeting moment, she imagined that they would never hear from their families again, that they would remain together in Tuscany until they were old and gray, with great-grandchildren. Much to her surprise, the thought didn’t make her as sad as she thought it should.
This is definitely shaping up to be very good. It's different, and that's why I like it. Nice work so far.
Draco Malfoy fancies himself a connoisseur of fine wine and fine women, but a string of encounters with Ginny Weasley teaches him that he still has something to learn about both.Category: Long and Completed
A very interesting beginning. I was so looking forward to seeing another chapter fic from you because I think your writing is fabulous, and I can already tell that this is going to be a great story.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you like the story so far, and I hope it won\'t disappoint. Thanks for the review.
Draco finds a better way of entertaining himself than watching the parade go by.Category: Completed Short Stories
Award-winning fic from the D/G Fic Exchange on LJ. "His body lies cold and still beside her; his mouth is open, an O, and his hair is drying, feathery, in wisps, over his closed eyes. That fair skin; that nearly white hair. Dead, he looks so young...."Category: Long and Completed
The dark and tragic story of a journey Under...based on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.
Ugh, dear sweet Lord. I just randomly felt the need to read this again, but I forgot what a huge punch to the gut it was. I sincerely hope you signed up for the next exchange, if only because I will selfishly hope that you choose my prompt to write.
Anyway, onto a real review. The characterizations are spot-on. The angst is just brilliant. The story is beautifully-constructed. Your prose packs a wallop. In short, absolutely amazing.
