News Change of OwnershipHello! As we come up on the 9th anniversary of the site, I hope that you are all ready for some bittersweet news. Mynuet and I have been discussing the site and it's future lately, and we came to the realization that we have been doing it a disservice by not being as invested in it as we should be. We both decided to retire, as it were.But don't panic! We are handing over the reins to Anise. She has been a long time author here, and member of the Cabal since 2005, which is even longer than me! Most of the major decisions have been run through the Cabal throughout the site's history, so she has always had a hand in things from the background. I will still be around as the site's Tech Admin, but I will be stepping away from the day-to-day running. Anise will come by soon to share her ideas to bring some new life here. On behalf of Mynuet and myself, thank you all for making this community such a lovely place. Comments Thank you very much for looking after the website for years, i just feel so grateful that we are able to read best of DG fanfiction thanks to your efforts with website. I think it would be great to see some award system (best of the year, best of the month and so on) and some competition for writing up stories. I am so honored by their faith in me, (no... wait... don't start backing away... ;), Ihave a lot of ideas, and I hope, REALLY hope, to get a lot of input from the community. There are some exciting things coming up. BUT this caught me right in the middle of doing billing for the family business!! And this is the busiest year we've ever had. And this Excel doc of customers will NEVER end... So it'll be pretty quiet for a couple of days yet while I slog through the billing trenches. More soon! If you haven't checked out the results of this rendering engine yet, you should!! (keeps an eye on the render in the background) Wow. They will truly be photorealistic. Maybe they're going to escape from the computer in the middle of the night... MANY thanks to the astonishing digital art genius Paolo Ciccone in that area.
