News in general

You may've noticed that the top fics list for last month has yet to make it to the main page. This is because something is wrong with the stats page, and your fearless leader has had a lot to do and thus has not had time to sort it out. I'll get to it, and to picking new featured fics, but I don't know when. Hopefully before December is all I'm committing to right now, as being a single parent in college is a wee bit time consuming.

On that note... We need more people in the Cabal. I'm working on devising some sort of test, but I don't know how quickly I'll be able to come up with that, so if any of y'all are interested, let me know. The main requirements are that you need to be able to tell whether or not something is correct in terms of spelling and grammar, and that I need to be able to trust you to be, if not precisely professional, then at least courteous to both the fellow members of the Cabal and the people whose fics you're reading. In other news, we're trying to figure out a way to have a chapter update notification feature, whether a mailing list or an RSS feed or a Livejournal community or something. If anyone out there has any suggestions on how this might be accomplished, give me a buzz.
