News FeaturesSo, I put Jandjsalmon in charge of featured stories, and she insisted on featuring one of mine. I did it, but I'm kinda hyperventilating about it. If any of you want to weigh in on the subject of whether it's fair and/or self-aggrandizing. I mean, my name is all over the site, so I think I get enough attention, but I promised her it'd be her decision to what to feature, so, yes.I'm not asking for "OMG U R THE BEST" or "er, your archive, your decision" so much as input as to what your impressions are. Comments Blegh, Myn. Jess has been gushing about that fic (Choosing Evil, right?) on my lj, she seriously loves it. If you don't let her rec this fic, then you'll probably be stopping some people from discovering a great fic. I think this site is pretty fair and honest about stuff like this and everyone knows it. You should still be recognized for your good work just like everyone else here. If unrecognized authors are writing good stories, than that is a very good tool for us to use so that they get the recognition they deserve. However, even though your name is plastered everywhere, if your story deserves that honor, there is no reason why it shouldn't be posted up simply because you are better known.
