Poor Harry... But at the same time, what a butthead. He might have come out of it with something if he'd not gone for the grand gestures, but it seemed like that didn't matter to him, almost like he was in a way relieved and wanted to have it be so firmly over that there was no chance of reconciliation or of him being the bad guy. Or maybe I'm overthinking, I don't know.

I love this story. It's great. I haven't read fanfic in awhile, so I need to go read this from the beginning to reacquaint myself with the entire plot. I hope this wasn't the update...just because I'm going to want another chapter lingering on the horizon.

I've been waiting for Draco's reply, and I have to say I love it! Who would've thought - a pair of shoes. Based on Hermione's reaction to Ginny's secret, I can just imagine an even more tense scene with Harry. Can't wait for more!

This is a really good story! It's nice to find a fic that a) doesn't have Draco living with his mother. Cool as she is, it's not cool to live with your mom at 23 odd years or so. b) doesn't start their relationship from the beginning (though that's what mine is doing...whatever tho) c) has Draco totally freaked out over Gin getting married and still having the malice we all know and love to frighten his secretary d) doesn't have the entire letter stated in one chapter, instead it is spaced out. A nice, subtle touch and e) involves Harry. For some reason, I love the Ginny-was-with-Harry-but-goes-to-Draco. Must be my avid D/Gness and possible the fact that I really don't care for Harry. Keep writing, I love it!

I really hope you don't think this is pretentious of me to say or anything, but I sincerely think "Slow Burn" is the best fic that you've posted, and I honestly don't say that lightly. Your lines make sense - they all seem to have a double meaning. I am not explaining this very coherently, but it's very hard for me to when I'm over the moon about this. The Draco and Ginny - everything I love about this ship. EVERYTHING. And I sympathize with Harry (again).
