How does Ginny know what Draco's face looks like, "in the throes of orgasm"?

:D niiiiice! I'm interested to where this goes! Initially, I was a surprised Snape was handing out detentions for a week! for mishearing something! It would have been more than ridiculous. Half of me wants Ginny not to see Malfoy after curfew... just to tell him he can't have everything his way!

I like the story so far. I sympathize with Ginny as I am also hopelessly addicted to smutty romance novels. Sigh.

hey! I just read what you wrote, and it was pretty good. Only one minor mistake, one of Hermione's lines in Part IV, she mentions Ron as being her brother. Hope I helped!

Excellent job so far. I just have the teensiest thing that bothered me about this chapter. Draco's shift from being friendly to Ginny to snapping at her was so abrupt and out of no where that it felt really unnatural and choppy. Draco as a whole is kinda confusing me. He seems a bit OOC, though I understand that it works for the sake of the story. Anyways, love your plot and nj overall.

Author's Response: Yeah. I'm working on Draco's OOC ness... It's always been my biggest problem. I re-watched all three movies and have been looking at all the Draco bits in the books to see how I can improve him...

OH MY! This is brilliant. I love your writing style so much. I know I've left a couple of reviews in amor_quies, but I hadn't read the changes you'd made nor had I read the 4th chapter (or it considered the 3rd since you have a prologue?) Anyway - I'm excited to read the next part and find out what happens if and when Ginny meets Draco at the "stacks." BRILLIANT! Keep up the excellent work!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like it... I really don't know what to say other than that. I'm really not used to accolades... :)

ahhh love this story!! the line about the sturgeon was fantastic, my only nitpickiness is about the john mayer song, you just reversed the line lovers/mothers part, but otherwise kudos!!!

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! I wrote the chapter while sitting in a very boring class... but the sturgeon line I just randomly typed in while copying it to my computr. I'll fix the John Mayer line... I haven't heard it in a while, so I guess that's why I goofed. :)

Hi! I really like this story, but I am a bit confused about the chapter you modified. I read all the four chapters today, so i don't know if the chapter "Into the wood" I read is the one you modified or not! How can I know?

Author's Response: Yeah. It doesn't affect you if you read all four chapters today. :)

Great Story. I love the idea. And Heyer...I love her. Great premise.

Author's Response: Heyer=goddess. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Draco raised one eyebrow in his inimitable (and admittedly sexy) way, I LOVE THIS! And the owl with the apology at the end was a nice touch. I was worried you'd leave that horrible insult out on the table until the next chapter. LOL Lovely job!

Author's Response: My friend Becca said it was OOC, and I'm working on not being OOC, so... I might have to take that bit out :( Maybe I'll add it in again later....

Lovely chapter! Ginny does remind me of Pen Creed in Heyer's The Corinthian. Anyway, I loved their interaction in this bit and the very end was endearing. I loved that Ginny observed that Draco's conversation consisted mainly of complaints and pick-up lines - very Draco. And just what is Snape up to? I can't wait for more. Elise

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! The Corinthian is one of my faves... Sir Richard Wyndham *sigh*

I am so pleased to find this story! Ginny as a romance novelist - great idea. I can't tell you the little thrill that I got when you mentioned Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice - and Georgette Heyer! Hardly anyone that I know has even heard of Georgette Heyer! Yes, Draco is a perfect specimen! I can't wait to read the other chapters! Elise

Author's Response: My sister introduced me to the great Heyer. Venetia is my favourite of her books :)

this is the first story i've read on this site, and i love it. i'm hooked. thanks for not turning draco into a creampuff. you make him sound realistic

Author's Response: Awww... thank you! That means a lot to me :)

Captain Castairs *drool* Lol. She has another one, Nicola and the Viscount. Not as good as Victoria and the Rogue, but still good. But if you go to a library or something and search for the series 'Avon True Romance for Teens' it'll come up with TONS of those kinds of stories. Lol ok now about the story! Draco's switch from being friendly to angry was kind of surprising. I would have like a little more transition. And also when you say 'almost literally jumped two feet into the air', I would suggest just saying 'almost jumped' and leave the literally out. Because the literally doesn't really add anything to the sentence. Does that make sense? Just suggestions! Can't wait till the library!

Author's Response: Captain Carstairs is quite wonderful... I think I have Nicola and the Viscount, too but I've never read it. I'll have a look for those at my library... Thanks for the constructive criticism... :)

Loving the deliciousness of Plotting!Ginny. I can't WAIT to see where this goes! Great writing.

Author's Response: I'm a big fan of Plotting!Ginny, too. My biggest problem here is to make sure Draco doesn't get too OOC...

I LOVE the first chapter. And the whole Hermione reading romances. I love regency-era romances too, have you ever tried the Avon True Romance for Teens series? Really awesome! I loved your descriptions of romances, and how everybody thinks they are naughty, lol. And of course the thing about Dickens and Joyce. What about Shakespeare. He fits into that category. Personally I think Romeo's a tad bit girlish, but hey thats me. And forgive my ignorance, but whats a rake? Can't wait until the next chap! And if you ever need somebody to beta, just email me at

Author's Response: Like the Meg Cabot ones? I read Victoria and the Rogue and loved it... According to Merriam-Webster: rake (rāk)n. -- An immoral or dissolute person; a libertine.[Short for RAKEHELL.]

Very cute! For some reason, Ginny strikes me as being very Jane Austen in this story - sort of a combination of Lizzie Bennett and Marianne (from Sense & Sensibility).

Author's Response: You're the second person to tell me that! It's probably because I normally write JA fanfic (and if yu think about it, there is a parallel between most D/G stories and P&P...)

More, more! Got an interesting plot going; can't wait to read more!

i was trying to figure out what character i've read that she reminds me of and for some reason i kept getting this cross b/w lizzy bennet and fanny price from mansfield park (more movie than book i guess--> just the turns of phrase and the the last bits of random thrown in)

Author's Response: That would probably be because I'm a huge JA fan... Lizzy and Fanny are my two favourite heroines :)

hmmm....imtriguing, no? You have peaked my interest. I look forward to reading more. Too bad it's not smut, it has great potential. Just kidding, it really does have great potential..more soon!

Author's Response: I've never been good at writing smut. I love to read it, but the writing of it at the quality that it's found here and other places, is a tad beyond me!
