I can't get this story out of my mind! I read your whole story, one shot, up all night several days ago. I thought it was a little wierd but terribly addictive and so I kept on. It was difficult for me to wrap my mind around your portrayal of Draco. A super stud, muggle-loving, law enforcement officer???? It was just so at odds with the way I think about him that I didn't know what to think. He runs out of Malfoy Manor because it's creepy and then sells it, for godssake!! I finished your story (loved the whole kidnapping scene and the ending was wonderful!), and I just keep having images from it pop into my mind. Canada, his brother John, the native american back-drop, pulling a gun because he didn't think to use his wand, bewitching the toys. So thanks for opening my mind. It's just a great story! I'm sad that it hasn't gotten more reviews. I'll be on the look out for anything else you write. Great job!

This was one of *the* stories that was recommended to me when I first joined the good ship DG. Glad to see that you are posting it here and amazingly its just as good the 3rd time round. Who knew that a story in which Draco lives as a muggle and is an RCMP officer could be so realistic! But it is! And being born and bred in Alberta (although no longer living there), I particularly liked the parts written in and about Southern AB. You made me miss home!!!

I don't remember how I found this fic on your personal site, but it's one of my absolute favorites and a real classic, and I'm glad you posted here so everyone can read what an extraordinarily excellent story this is. All the characters are so well-written and well-rounded it's impossible not to get emotionally invested in everything they do. I just love this fic to pieces and am in awe of your writing, from the fluid and often funny dialogue to the portrayals of real, adult lives and emotions. Kudos indeed.

Ooh! I like the twist of Draco being a muggle for a while, and I love how you describe Draco's reaction to the war - that is definitely one of the actual possibilities for the outcome of the war, what with the self-preservation and all.

I am in awe...this story was beautifully done. I couldn't stop reading, and for that I am sorry. I should have stopped to give you credit every chapter for such a great job. The characters were outstanding. The descriptions were out of this world, and the addition of the Native American, and his language were awesome. In short you took my breath away several times......Thank You!

I know that Draco is supposed to be in England working on a case, but why do I have the feeling there is more going on. Love it when Ron gets worked up over Malfoy. And WOO HOO to Ginny for asking about Draco using her to get back at Harry.

Definitely a good one. I still don't know what happened to Laura though...I'm dying to know. I'm actually supposed to be getting ready for class right now, but I'm going to read another chapter.
