I haven't read a Hogwarts fic in aaaaaages. I thought I'd outgrown them but glad I was prooved wrong! Bloody great.

Brilliant fic; I love the relationship you've built between the 3 Slytherins and Ginny. I can't even say 'especially Pansy,' as I wanted to, because I love the way she and Ginny defend each other and whisper like true girlfriends, but the truth is I love her rapport with the boys, too. Her mutual crush with Blaise is great and even better is her not-at-all close relationship with Draco and their constant banter. If this is going to be a D/G fic, as I hope, I think the slow pace you're taking it at is perfect. And tortuous, because I want MORE!!! Also, I like the Ginny-almost-being-placed-in-Slytherin bit, too, it's very in character (actually, I'm writing an AU where Ginny DOES get placed into Slytherin, so you can see how that would interest me). It's nice, too, to see both the Sly and Gryf attributes come out in Ginny. Lastly, I wanted to say that I think your portrayal of how the Slytherins act when not surrounded by Harry and co seems quite realistic, and how I might imagine them: they're not exactly nice but they certainly have a comfortable existence with one another that's also teasing and with the sort of sharp edge you would expect from Slytherins. Did that make any sense? I hope so. Do Do Do post more!!!!!!

other than the implied r/h at the end there, i'm loving this! (i'm a huge h/hr fanatic) blaise/gin is interesting and i can't wait to see how you break them up!
