Given the fact that Draco kidnapped her; keeps her shut away from the world; slapped her around; violates her privacy; is a Death-Eater; her mom is dead, etc...if Ginny stabbed him 42 times, I would admire her for her restraint!

YESS I CAN SENSE THE UPCOMING SMUT. the chinese wedding bed is a really good bit. however, I, a Chinese (GO ME) have never heard of a Chinese wedding bed with windows and stuff, but other than that, it does sound quite like it. Of course, it could be because I'm ignorant. Here I shall cease my rambling and merely say that I am anticipating the upcoming chaps. (dribble)

You know, it's not that I don't love this fic--because I do--but why on earth do you keep reposting and reposting it as well as your other fics. Everytime I see your name up I get so excited that you've written another fic, but then I realize it is a recycle. And you haven't just done this once, you've done it a bunch of times with a couple of different fics. Why do you do that? I don't get it.

Author's Response: honestly, i'm not sure what you mean. do my fics keep showing up on the new fic list? the only thing i can think of is if they do that when i find a typo & edit it. other than that, i'll need clarification

wow. where did you come up with the chinese wedding bed thing? are they real? not the spells, i mean! this draco is really creepy, but in a good way, because i don't know what he's going to do next and i like that. i think he really cares about ginny, but he seems to have some mental issues.

Hmmm...interesting psychology here...certainly keeps the readers' involvement by trying to figure Malfoy out. Well, you know, Bad Boys are infinitely more complicated and fascinating than the obvious and shiny Good Ones. I like the way you wrote it slowly spaced out to leave us never knowing, for sure, if in the the next moment Malfoy will turn evil and violent or soften further in his sensitivities. This one is a definitely a "fence-walker"! I do wonder why Ginny hasn't asked more about her other family members...her father, especially, after learning of her mother's death. Since her love for her family is so much a part of her personality, it seems odd she would not inquire more strongly of the fate of Ron and Fred & George particularly, her other siblings, and of Harry. Also, I am stymied as to why she would ignore Malfoy's unattended wand at his bedside while he slept. She could have used it to put an Imperius Curse on him, as he did her, and command him to drop the wards around the estate enabling her escape, and to stay locked up in the same room he locked her in until she brought the Aurors back to arrest him. It seems that it would be a no-brainer to want her family to know she was still alive. All I can say about that is it's odd how each person acts differently dealing with deep trauma. It's like half their common sense and logical thought patterns are...missing. I am looking forward to reading how this all washes out in the end. Nice bit of writing there!

The psychology of this story is so interesting. I can definitely see Ginny succumbing to Stockholm Syndrome here, but how could she avoid it? Draco's been very kind to her. Of course, the way he treats her reminds me of John Fowles' early novel *The Collector*. It really is kind of creepy-- I honestly don't know if he'll ever let her leave. But, by his standards he's been very kind to her. This could have been one of those Draco-rapes-Ginny-in-the-first-chapter fics, but it's more interesting that it isn't. This way, he can absolutely tell himself that he's treating her wonderfully well, and that he could have done a lot of things to her that he hasn't done. It's going to be interesting to see how he finally succumbs.

Too good, I believe this worthy of J.K herself! My mum had to ask why I was reading fanfiction, rocking backwards and forwards and blubbering like a little kid all at the same time! :) Can't wait for the next installments.

Excellent Story! By the end of Chapter 2 I was in tears. It's so sad, yet so sweet! A job well done indeed, nothing that I can think of needs refinement. Keep up the good work.

Now, I know you say that Draco's going to get... well, really bad, and I wonder if you mean that will cover his behavior towards Ginny. At the moment, I'm not completely sure what to think of it, except to say that I still think that from his POV, he's helping her the best way he can. After all, she's not out there facing danger, now is she (he tells himself.) But yes, he took the Dark Mark, so there's that to throw into the Scales O' Evil. If he gets worse where Ginny is specifically concerned, though, I wonder how and why it's going to happen (is scared, considering those warnings you have!) In a way, *he's* taking a big risk by having her there. If someone found it, he could get into a lot of trouble... maybe that's what will make him snap at last??

Disturbing premise. I always love a darker Draco, and I'm enjoying him here!
