What a wonderful start to the story. The idea of the Dragons dying for an unknown reason is a very unique one and I can definitely see why characters such as Snape, Draco and Ginny would be drawn to remain at such a camp. The addition of the Wilder is an intriguing one. His vulnerability is something that clearly calls out to Ginny's mothering nature. (And to mine as well, to be honest! He just calls out to be gathered up in a hug, methinks. :))

I like how in the first chapter, the third person narrative explored the possibilities of there being more going on between Draco and Ginny in that tent of hers but that the truth is not as it seems. I hope that I can see that change somewhat during the course of this story. *g*

I hope that you will decide to continue with this fic, as it would be a great shame to leave a brilliant start like this without an ending.

This story is amazing. I love the way you reveal things slowly, in stages, so that we sort of sink deeper and deeper into the story the further we go. It's lovely.

I read in the comments that the Wilder is based on your son, who's autistic--that was my first thought when I saw how powerful the Wilders are, and yet how they seem to act like children forever. It's so typical of the wizarding world to alienate them and even fear them; I think that you hit the mentality of the wizarding world spot on in that respect. It's so antiquated, isn't it, in its attitudes towards anything different, like Squibs? Wizards are so uncomfortable with the idea of anything that hints at some sort of disability.

Well, I didn't mean to ramble on so long. But I love that Ginny is able to have a different attitude--she would be, wouldn't she? And I also love the relationship you've created between Draco and Ginny, even though it breaks my heart. I hope that they resolve what's wrong between them, and that Ginny can learn to have a real relationship with him. She sure is a tough nut to crack, isn't she? (is that the phrase?) Anyway, I look forward with terrific anticipation to your next chapter. This is a really beautiful work so far.

wow. this is so intriguing. I'm enthralled. why are the dragons dying? what are wilders? as in, where did they come from? are they war orphans? are they all that powerful? i get that the camps are set up to care for dragons, and you explained why Ginny was there, kind of, but why is Draco there? what exactly is their relationship?

please finish this if you get a chance! I love your stuff, but this seems very original and interesting (not that your other works are copied and boring).

Oh my goodness! That was wonderful. My heart is breaking for Star and for the Wilder and for Ginny and Draco. So good!

This is really interesting! (By the reviews I am sure you can tell that I am steadily working my way throughyour stuff, :P)

It's cool, and good, and... just very interesting. If the Wilder were female, and siz years older, I would think Sue, but this is a great way to avoid the Sueness inherent in anyone who is remarkable beautiful, powerful alien, and has some sort of connection with dragons. I like.

Author's Response: It's funny you mention Sue-ness. The Wilder is based on my son, who is autistic, so he really is kind of a Sue. But hopefully subtly enough for it to be acceptable.

Is there more? I hope so. It's a very cool plot! Then again, you updated two years ago, so maybe not...Well, I hope you can continue this if there is more! :)

I love it when I find a story that you've started that I didn't notice before. The whole idea seems really novel, and I can't wait to find out the whole story behind Draco and Ginny's relationship. There's something about this Wilder that makes me scratch my chin and go hmmmm. Waiting on the edge of my seat!

Ginny's channeling Molly Weasley...lol. am very curious to see where you're going next with this- the dragon'll survive, right?

The interaction between Draco and Ginny is an interesting one. Can't say I love it, as I don't like snappy!Ginny but I still enjoy reading it, and I'm very curious to see where this is going! The idea of a Wilder intrigues me and I want to know more of who he is, where he's from, what he's capable of. And of course, the whole dragon thing is a really neat, interesting idea. It represents to me, the desperation people may feel after the war is over, but there's still so much left to fix. Curious if you meant "bavy" or "baby" when Ginny is talking to Wilder at the end.

Author's Response: Ooops. It's now fixed to say 'baby'. *^^* Ginny's going to be even angrier as the fic goes on, but because it's me, I don't think it's a spoiler to say there'll definitely be a happy ending.
