well, that was rather depressing, but i appreciate it much more than the fluffy ending, which was just too much fluff, even for me. i'm assuming that there are to be no more updates, but you know what they say about assuming...

Nice twist, very unpredictable. And much preferable to the "happy ever after" ending (as you so aptly proved with the LJ fluff, ridiculous that...). I'm so glad this story is continuing on, looking forward to the next.
Ah... it all makes sense now. As I knew it would. I do feel very sorry for Draco - even though I don't want him to be a deatheater. You do an awfully good job of evoking empathy without making someone pathetic, m'dear!

I think I am going to be sick. Your talent is such that I felt Draco's hurt. What is REALLY bad and not many people know this, but YOU are totally capable of making this one of the most heartbreaking stories ever published on this site. You would do it and not feel the least bit bad about it because it would be good writing. I am torn. I want you to be true to yourself but I am a big time sucker for a happy ending. Just don't make it too slow or painful, ok? Mercy.
I almost expected something like this, because the last chapter where Ron said nothing. Ron had to expect something, he was acting so strangely. But I didn't think it was going to be like this. I feel so bad for Draco Awww. I love how you update so quickly. Wonderful chapter.

ARGH! OMG! That was so unexpected! Especially the part with Crabbe. I never imagined that he'd be a spy. I really can't wait to read what comes up next. Why did Draco keep saying that he had no choice? Is there a prophecy or something??
My New Year resolution was to be a better reviewer then I have been so here I am. :) Of course I've been following this story from the beginning but this chapter was just so sad that I decided to comment on this one. Poor D/G. Always pawns in someone else's game or at least that's my take on it. Does the first chapter for ESWM still hold any clues for what's in their future? I know you're ebil and will not tell but I had to try. Can't wait for tomorrow's next chapter.

As it is I still trust them (and You) to find a way for them. Actually we haven't heard Ginny's side of the story yet.

Oh, you are evil! Poor Draco. And poor Ginny. I got the impression that she got more attached than she would have liked. But I guess I should have expected something like this from Ron's behavior. And from the fact that you seem to be averse to happy endings... Anyway, thanks for the update. Maybe I'll go read the fluffy version to cheer me up.

I love this cliffhanger more then any of the others you have written. It's just so utterly still, the saddest thing in the world. The pause between this chapter and the next will change the entire course of the story, and that's exactly what a chapter end should be. Its silence is maddening.

Oh I've so enjoyed this but poor Draco - I think its all a plot and Ron and Ginny are in on it. But he's almost redemmed himself - he's shown emotion, he's been nice, he doesn't want to serve the dark lord. Can't a guy get a break and sneak away to France with the girl he loves?? :)
