Just found this story, and I enjoyed it immensely. The mystery was quite well done, and you made the characters so interesting and believable. I think Ginny's emotions after being widowed were very well done. Thanks for writing such an excellent story.

But you left us with so many questions at the end! I do hope you continue the sequel at some point.

What??? This is it????The Hell, c'mon man do not do this. Reading your piece has been like an addiction. Is there going to be a sequel? Why leave it there. This is so sad. My God, what can we do to see a happy ending?

The poor characters in your story have their feelings all messed up, and you are ending it here? How can you do this. Well, I know, because you are the author, but never the less.....Oh, who am I kidding, if you say this is the end and there is no sign on your farewell stating that there's going to be a sequel.. then there isn't.

No matter, this has been a wonderful experience. Loved the way you made us anticipate the climax of the movie and the development of the characters was superv. My salutes to you.

Ouch. I'm touched. You write so fluidly and handle well with emotion. Though this ending is sort of a cynical, I will cherish it all the same. I see Draco's view as to going to Azkaban. He is repaying for everything and everyone he has caused to suffer. Draco feels from the time he was born, the timer started ticking off the days to his imprisonment. I do think he was already enslaved to captivity…long before being sentenced. They may not be visible but they exist nevertheless. I do hope you start on your sequel soon!
Many Thanxxx, Isabelle

I add my voice to those who are delighted to hear you have a sequel in the works, one in which I anticipate Draco will be exonerated from crimes he did not commit and with Ginny's Caser talents. It isn't that I must have a happy ending and it isn't that your ending doesn't have that gritty veritas feeling to it. It's wonderful that Draco is using his prison time for self-realization, but in terms of where that takes the reader... it deflates the earlier promise of the story and feels a bit 'cornered' or blocked. I'm interested to read how you turn that around since I know you have the talent to do it.

I sincerely apologize if i sound rude when i say this; but this ending - well, kinda sucks! i adore ur writing and love the way u built your story... but what happened in the end? did u get fed up of the story... coz the ending just feels so hacked off...

As an author u have every right to do as u please in ur story - but hellooo -there are just too many unanswered questions for the story to end right now. hang the happy ending - what about the holes in the story?!!!

Author's Response: I do have a sequel coming...that'll tie up some loose ends I should think.

What kind of ending is this? I don't mean that in a derogatory sense, either! I've been reading this fic since the beginning - following along and loving it, but this ending - well, it just doesn't make sense to me. Yes, he's guilt ridden but come on. There's no redemption to be found in Azkaban. True redemption comes from turning the sins of the past into meaningful, good deads of the future. What can he do sitting in that dank cell not eating? It seems to me that he just chalked up three more sins to his list - hurting his Mum (very, very naughty!), hurting Ginny (his one, true love) and lying to get his arse in Azkaban in the first place! I am relieved to see that there will be a sequel because there are so many loose threads hanging a reader could kill herself on them! Just how did Dakotah get the stuff to kill herself and why would anyone believe a pathological liar like her when she said that Draco was her accomplice? Can Draco reach enlightenment like Buddah by sitting there comtemplating the meaning of life until he realizes he needs to get his arse out of Azkaban and to Ginny's side? Well, I await the sequel. Until then, many thanks for this wonderful fic whose ending will keep me grumblng for quite some time. -fallenwitch
