Draco's heart is breaking...poor boy, being a teenage wizard is stressful enough, but to add Voldemort and LOVE on top of it?!  ...."fading out of his life, like a portrait that had been painted with cheap oils." *sniffles*

very different beginning...I like the short snippets, and the reversal of roles with Ginny now being the mean one was a nice added touch.  On to the next chap!

I love this...and it helps that I really like this cd, too!  Quite ingenious writing plan, you never cease to amaze me with your writing skills. I would have to say my favorite of the vignettes was You Wreck Me.  Wonderful job!

That was so wonderful, I wish it weren't over.  It was sweet, and beautiful, and sad, and funny -- I loved it.  My favorite line:"I know," she said. "For one thing, you're too damn cheerful in the morning." -- just perfect!

Wonderful! It is real, it breathes life, realistic, true, life, into the two dimensional characters of Draco and Ginny. It makes their love story believeable, which is remarkably hard to do.

A sweet, sweet story, and very clever to tell it in vignettes. You know, I'm really fond of the idea that Draco and Ginny dated during part of her sixth year, because it would explain so much... and then they found each other again! Awww. I liked the fact, too, that Draco knew his love for Ginny was real because he'd felt love for someone else, and had something to compare his feelings to. So, good work as usual, Mynuet!

Hey! I am a long-time admirer of your work! I must confess that I have been a bit of a voyeur (if that conveys the correct context of my crime) of your work as I have never left any reviews (ever) despite being a veteran of D/G reading. I must say, I am loving this fic so far...has  it been around long? I don't believe I've seen it before... but before I read on, I am a bit confused that we haven't seen a whole chunk of Draco and Ginny's interaction in the summer term of Draco's sixth year. The dialogue in this chapter indicates that Draco knew of Ginny and Harry's relationship- what happened in between?  I don't think Draco would have stood for it! Harry is is long-time nemesis- would he continue his er-, thing with Ginny in the face of Ginny's very public relationship with Harry? Being the bitch that I am, I was hoping for a bit of a heated argument...

Author's Response: I'm sorry, I didn't realize it wasn't clear.  Ginny's relationship with Harry only started after the relationship with Draco was over.  He broke up with her for her own good, and shortly thereafter was when she got with Harry - hence the "hard, blazing look" when she literally throws herself at Harry.
The breakup and Draco's reaction to H/G didn't get its own vignette because they didn't have their own songs.  Make sense?

It must be a good feeling to get inspiration like that. Mine always comes at the middle of the night when I'm too lazy to write it down, and by the time I wake up again, it's gone-lol. Just wanted to comment on your excellent writing style and exquisite plots and writing detail.
