Wow! I just started reading this story today, and I must say that now I am rather hooked! I want more very soon, to see what happens between Draco and Ginny! Oh this is good! Keep it coming please!

Author's Response: I have been working on it sporadically but I'm studying in England for the summer and well, instead of writing away like a dedicated DG shipper, I'm shipping off to Oxford this weekend instead. But I'll post as soon as I can! I'm glad you've enjoyed it so far! Thanks!

This is the second time I've dropped by to read this chapter. I was so blown away by it the first time around, I knew I needed another try to absorb what you were trying to say. Maybe a third time would do it. Honestly, woman, I just don't know. It was fabulous! But now I feel dumb. I LOVED the references to the ancient Druids and the Draconis constellation guarding the heavens and Draco's birth being marked by the Winter Solstice and Narcissa guarding Draco. Just what is the source of a wizard's power? Well, it seems like Dumbledore is suggesting that Draco's inability to cure Narcissa lies in his lack of connections to others. Did he want to self-destruct when he offered to cure Fred Weasley? “I think you did go with the intention of destroying yourself. Of giving in. But something, someone, changed your mind. I don’t know what it was, but Draco, don’t shun it.” I do!!! **raises hand in the air, waving it like bloody Granger** It was Ginny, of course. His connection with her will be his strength of power. It will enable him to harness his ancient gift of healing from the Black line. In loving Ginny and being loved back, he will be able to cure Narcissa and not be drained of his physical or emotional strength. Now, all you have to do is to get those two dweebs back together. Okay, that's about as far out on a limb as I'd like to go. Good lord, the branch is starting to snap! Quick, Black Alnair, start writing!!! Hey, I didn't say I KNEW what was going to happen. I just said this is my current, working hypothesis, okay?

Oh, BTW, I didn't notice a lack of D/G interaction because I've been so enthralled with what's been going on with Draco. I thought the conversation with Dumbledore was superb. I also loved the way you described him looking at his own wrist, translucent skin and bones jutting out. Remarkable chapter. Thanks for writing it!

Author's Response: Oh, that's an interesting theory... I don't know why you feel dumb. You come up with some of the most convoluted ideas. Things that I have not included or plan to include (after all, they are your ideas!) in my work. And I do try to be all so subtle... I just love reading your hypotheses! Thanks for speculating! ;)

Will Ginny forgive Draco after this? Will Draco forgive Ginny for being so hardheaded? There's more than curses that need to be healed here. Interesting play in the relationship between Dumbledore and Draco.

Author's Response: Didn't we all learn that we just need to communicate better? Easier said than done... ;)

Ahh! A Month! Poor Ginny! She must be going insane with worry!
Saying that you "(were) going to have a lot less going on than what will happen in the next chapter" doesn't mean that Draco and Ginny will (duh duh duh!)
See each other again and interact!
Yay for D/G and kisses! :-)
Update soon!

Author's Response: Well, I suppose you have to wait to see what happens between DG. Unfortunately, you will have to wait for a considerably longer period than a month. I only hope that you will not suffer as Ginny has! Thanks for reviewing, as always!

OMG! I absolutely love the Alice in Wonderland reference..and the talk between Draco and Dumbledore. Please keep on writing and post soon!!!

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I was just waiting to bring Alice back! And I'm glad you enjoyed the interaction between D&D. I personally didn't like how Dumbledore has been portrayed in the most recent films or the last book so I wanted to bring him back to how I originally saw him. A much more humane, caring but strong character. Anyway, I hope to post before August but I'm not sure...

I found a little error that's really bugging me so I'm going to have to play beta and fix it.

Dumbledore asks Draco when he became a vegetarian, and Draco gives an answer that does not really make sense: "For a long time...”.

Other than that, the story is coming along nicely. I'm a little confused on the druid stuff, but I like it that way. I can see where you're headed, and that's enough.

I would agree with Gabby though: if you want the two of them to get together, Draco and Ginny should probably at least be in the same room from time to time, and I haven't seen much of that, even, lately.

Author's Response: Oh...darn..I'll fix that eventually. Thanks for letting me know! And DG will be in the same room in the next chapter though whether or not I want them together...okay, I'm kidding. I can't really imagine Ginny with anyone like, ergh, Potter!
