wow you update fast! anddddd your updates are so well written and interesting! anyways i loved it, different pansy considering all stories make draco hate her. Still, sad though, u had no ginny/draco.. hmm update with more banter btwn them plzz!

wow, that's completely unfair! And the wankers know it! If Narcissa and the Parkinsons were friends she could ask them to complain to the ministry or something for the outrageous behavior of the Aurors.
Draco needs to get a place of his own so that his mother can rest in peace, although she needs his support she also needs not to be harassed like she just was.
And what was that between Draco and Pansy? I was seething at the way she was acting around him! It was great! I was a bit jealous for Ginny!
Great story! And another great update! I look forward to more!
Author's Response: Lol, if Pansy has that effect on you, I'm very flattered, as a writer. She's his friend, has been for a years, and loved him almost the entire time. So of course this relationship would be important to him, even though he might not feel the same for her ;-) Plus, Pansy will be useful later on - but that's all I'm saying *g*

I really like where this fic is going. Up to this chapter (3) it's been mostly set-up, but I am very curious about the Draco-Ginny interaction it is leading to.
The only thing is, Ginny seems to merit very little sympathy. I'm just wondering--is that on purpose? Because she seems willing to put very little effort into her relationship with Harry, and wants him to change his entire life. Does she love him? Will we find out more?
Well, I guess I'll go read more of the already posted chapters!

Hmm...to me, it doesn't seem like she puts little effort into her relationship; maybe I should have showed more of it, though. Here's a girl who has been waiting for Harry to finish his quest for years, and then their life turns out so differently than she was hoping. I think this is a very realistic thing to happen to teenage relationships - dreams and fantasies are very different than everyday life with another person (esp. one with as much baggage as Harry) and Ginny is just tired of it.
Anyway, I never intended to make this into a particularly sympathetic and nice!Ginny. She has an edge to her, the way I see her, which is why I like D/G so much. There's the thing that happened with the Voldie's diary (a bit of which will come into play later) and a rather explosive character that is all her own, and I don't think she'd be too rational and thoughtful in a relationship.
I hope you'll enjoy the story as it develops. :) You will definitely find out more about Ginny's motivations.

great story! i really like it. very original. my only complaint is that i feel they went from 'i hate you' to the alley a bit to quickly. it seemed a little rushed, though i do like the general idea and it was very well written. i really like your portrayal narcissa and the interaction between her and draco. very well done. i cant wait to see harry’s reaction to ginny breaking up with him after he’s cooled off a bit and how draco and ginny’s subsequent meetings will play out. update soon! feel free to give up any semblance of a life to continue your recent up date rate! :D accolades *salutes*

And yes, they rush into something that is neither thought through nor even remotely nice. It's a spur of the moment thing, or at least that's how I intended it, because they are both hurt and need to let out some of that pain. At this point, they do not much care for each other. Their next encounters will play out a little differently, though :) I hope you'll enjoy the fic as it continues.
