Ooh, Daphne is this not nice man's sister! Is this Demaris person Draco in disguise or is it Harry or someone else equally as unlikely?! LOL. It's early (or late -- however you want to think of it) and my mind is wandering in an attempt to find something to do.

Anyway, off to the next chapter/

Author's Response: I would dearly love to answer your question about Demaris, but as I have a chapter planned about his real identity, I don't want to give it all away! But you are so close!

Ooh, I like a man that can stand up to Lucius, but I do not like a man that is going to try to kill all the Weasleys. So, how do I feel about this? I'm torn -- wait -- no -- if I love him and hate him at the same time, does that make me indifferent?! I think so!

I'm off to read the next chapter!

Author's Response: Hmm...yes, Demaris isn't too fond of Lucius. And for good reason, too! As there is only one Weasley that I could kill off with glee, I wouldn't worry too much about the whole family being eradicated.

Eww! I'm off to the next chapter!

Ah, don't we all know that feeling of betrayal. Very well written. I only found minimal grammatical errors (teensy tiny ones that are inconsequential, really), which is a rare treat! I hate it when my stories have them and it seems as though I can never eradicate them. I'm off to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I'll use spell check, betas, you name it and it's fine. Yet the minute I send it in for approval by the Cabal, I find at least one error of some sort. I give up! :)

Too much, I cannot believe they had to kill all of the family! Where is the love? Where is Draco and why hasn't he appeared? Oh the humanity! By the way did I say that I loved the story and can't wait til the next chapter? I do love it and can't wait til the next great chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Hopefully I can get around to explaining "Draco's" absence in the plot line sometime soon.

Woohoo! First reviewer of the chapter. Third it's happened to me today. :)

I just read the entire story and I think it's really brilliant! Also, it's very creative and well-written. I havent read a story so far that has hit-men and such.

I'm really curious about who sent the letter and wrote on her wall. How many people can be after Ginny? And poor doggy. I feel so bad for it. I hope it's okay. Though I somehow doubt it.

When is Draco going to come into the present picture? Soon I hope. I can't wait to see how you bring him in.

With the translations, you could put them at the end of the chapter. Some other people have done that and it seems to work out ok. Thank god I can speak french because I am far too lazy to actually look these things up. ;)

Please update as soon as you can!!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! There's only one person (well, actually two if you count Demaris) that is after Ginny-I'll explain better in the upcoming chapters. Umm...uhh...about Draco. Technically (with a big emphasis on that) he has already made his debut. Hint: take another look at the summary! And I'll try sticking the translations at the end. Just for those of you who are too lazy. ;)

Nice gritty job for ginny huh? I like it, it kind of seems like a likely job for her after getting out of school. So she would be 21 right now, right? Just making sure. I'm really interested to see how this job of Demaris' developes. Keep up the good work and update soon...please?

Author's Response: Thanks for all of the reviews (I'm too lazy to reply to all 4 of them individually. Sorry!) I work in the hospitality industry, so I can relate with Ginny about several of the different issues. Yep, Ginny's 22, so she's legal (I hope). And the next chapter should be up in a few days! Wow, that's alot for me! :)

Again, like ch.1, I like how you made Demaris' job have many options to expand the plot. Wierd thing with Ginny's room though haha wasn't expecting that, although I did have a feeling it had something to do with blood. Great work so far!

I like how you made Hermione act like a know-it-all stuck up bitch haha. Usually i see fics where Hermione is very sweet and understanding, but I like how you made her have a little edge.
Name: Kaitie reviewed Genesis on Jun 23, 2006 08:33 pm
I like it! I think it's a good start with many options.

A really good fic! I wondered for a while if Demaris wasn't Draco but it seems that he isn't Draco but a friend that made hm a promise.
I can't wait to see what happens next! Please update soon!

Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it. I will try to get the next chapter up pretty quick but, as of right now, it's only half done. Oh, and thanks for reviewing!

Noir! I love a good suspense thriller, especially with lots of atmosphere. Is Demaris a villain or a secret benefactor? A Humphrey Boggart or Peter Lorre?

Author's Response: Oh...well...how to answer without giving away the plot. I'd like to think of Demaris as a fairly decent person who's had to make some really nasty decisions. And they'll come back to haunt him later!

Fab writing... have to say I am totally enjoying the cloak and dagger style. Can't wait for some more.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review. My life has settled down a tiny bit, so hopefully the next chapter will be up soon. 'Hopefully' being the key word!

Just as a testament to how fascinating a read this is, I got to the end of this chapter and looked for the 'next' button. When it wasn't there, I yelled "What?! Only 2 chapters?!"

Yeah. I'm really into this fic, even though it kind of scares the heck out of me. I mean, the Weasleys are going to get annihilated, there's no doubt about that, is there? And then there's the fact of just how basically irredeemable Draco seems, which means that any D/G lovin' is going to end poorly. Added to that, all this cloak-and-dagger secrecy and the little we know about Ginny and...yeah. It's just damn dark, isn't it?

But I'm really enjoying it, and look forward to the chapter, even if I'm afraid to find out what happens next!

Author's Response: Thanks for the praise and the review! I'd really love to answer your questions, and put some of your fears to rest, but I don't want to give the plot away either. So I'm just going to stay quiet about everything!

i love it, your writing style is so descriptive.

keep those new chapters a 'comin.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! It's nice to hear back on what others think of it. And I've almost got the next chapter done, so maybe I'll get it up soon.

Oh, what an exciting plot! I can't wait to see how Draco fits back into all of this :).

Author's Response: Hmm...actually Draco's already shouldered his way back in and made an appearance. :) And thanks for the review!

Wow.

This is the first story that I read where the hole Weasley family is targeted.
Cant wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Hopefully I can get the next chapter or two up pretty soon. Sorry it's taking so long!
Name: Mj reviewed New Beginnings, pt.2 on Apr 27, 2006 03:46 am
You're not actually going to kill all the Weasleys are you? Please update soon!

Author's Response: There's really only one Weasley that I'd enjoy getting rid of, but I don't want to say too much and give the plot away! Hopefully I can get the next chapter up soon.

I am hooked on this great story. Is it possible that there is going to be a love triangle here starring Harry and Draco and GInny? Was Draco there on the bed? LOVE IT

Author's Response: Thanks for the review and I'm glad you like it. I wasn't planning on a Harry-Draco-Ginny, but you never know!

Beautifully written so far!

Argh, cliffie! I love this story :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it. Sorry about the cliff hanger, I really didn't mean to do that.

You have a wonderful way with words. I can't wait to find out what was on the headboard.
