What a sweet chapter! I really liked it.
And Draco forgetting Ginny's birthday? Well, not a nice thing to do. ;) I wonder, if Ginny ever finds out, that he forgot about it. ;) Cause if she do, I'm sure all hell breaks loose.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter, I hope there's the birthday brunch at the Burrow. :D

Author's Response: Thank you *g* There most certainly will be a birthday lunch at the Burrow, and it will turn into an interesting day for Draco ;)

Very, very, very wonderful. It was sweet yet steamy. I just sigh was enjoyment. Seriously great job!

Author's Response: Thank you so much :)

Aww, that was so sweet. And the last sentence was pretty funny. It was just strange how you generally keep within the British world, I guess, but then used the American pants. But I really hope that neither Ron nor Harry accidentally spill about Draco originally forgetting Ginny's birthday, especially if Ron was upset over not going to dinner. Overall, it was a pretty wonderful chapter and I actually read it in one sitting! :)

Author's Response: Thank you :) I couldn't help myself with that last sentence *g* Being Australian, I have been raised with the British language (our school curriculum was very much based on UK English), but just about everything we read or come across is American, so it gives us a good balance. The 'pants' thing is used in Australia (probably because 'trousers' is deemed to be too posh) and I believe it's also used in the UK, but it's a modern English thing :) And I'm not saying anything about the upcoming chapter or I'll give stuff away ;P

Love it. Oh, I hope your not too mean - I don't want Draco to get into trouble. lol

Update as soon as you can!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm not mean *blinks* I'm not going to tell anyone that he forgot his wife's birthday, but that's not to say someone else won't... ;)

I love it! Draco got off easy, I think, for forgetting his wife's birthday. But, it ended well (and with lots of sex) and thats all that matters.

WONDERFUL!

Author's Response: Thanks! Well, he got off for now, but that's not to say he won't be punished in the future ;)

Draco really is lucky. Not only does he have Ginny and the twins and another baby on the way, he has people around him (including people he never would have expected before) who are quite willing to save his arse! Ron and Harry were great. I can't wait to see what Draco has to do to pay them back for reminding him of the date. Also, I loved the scene where Ginny was bugging Draco for details, and he pretended like he was just holding out on her when he didn't have a clue himself. Hee hee! Anyway, thank you very much for this chapter. It was lots of fun!

Author's Response: Deep down he knows how lucky he is, but admitting it is an entirely different matter ;) Mind you, Ron and Harry aren't about to let him forget that he owes them one. It wasn't like he would admit that he didn't know anything, because that would have dropped him in deep trouble and he knew it. Thanks!

how does Drake know of that sort of thing, he's only 5?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

"You are a stubborn old bastard," Draco stated halfway up the stairs.

"Thank you," Lucius responded courteously.

"You are," Draco reiterated. "But I still love you."

I cannot write a coherent review because that part has me in complete and utter stiches! A brilliant chapter as usual :D!

Author's Response: Thank you :) I really couldn't resist putting that bit in *g*

I'd love a scene where Angel throws a tantrum like she did in the bridal shop, only with Draco and/or Lucius instead of Ginny. I still don't think either of them took Ginny's report of the incident very seriously. Also I can imagine a scene where Hermione or Pansy goes into labor and gets stuck somewhere with Draco. I don't know how that could be pulled off but it would be hilarious! He'd be a mental case by the time it was all over.

Author's Response: Draco and Lucius will eventually see Angel in full flight *eg* I don't think I could be so cruel to Draco. He definitely would need a little stint in St. Mungo's locked ward if I left him alone with a laboring woman, who wasn't his wife (he'll be bad enough when his own baby decides to make an appearance *wink*).

So, you updated. And I didn't review. Shame on me. Anyway, it's kinda funny (though it's starting to get annoying) the little drama queen/princess Angel is really getting to be. It was quite a riot when Draco and Ginny discussed how easily Angel could manipulate Lucius. No, I don't think he would be pleased if he heard that. ;) It was a cross between cute and funny when the four of them showed up unannounced to Ginny's dinner party. Naturally, I think Lucius just wanted to irritate his son. Draco's right, perhaps if Narcissa wasn't stemming an argument (bless her for it), the two might finally be able to clear the bad air betwen them. It really was truly funny that the boys, Ron included, all felt bad about possibly getting Draco in trouble. I have to say, I'm on his side for this, though I'd have put it differently. I feel as if she will be somewhat understanding why the boys, especially him, decided to get so drunk. I hope Ginny gets some kind of awakening when Draco confronts her about visiting her mother. She's putting herself and the baby in danger by always being near the invalid. And it's frustrating how very like Molly she's become (the tea incident). A thought about Angel's flying being restricted- she did end up in the hospital for precisely that reason. It's only natural that he'd be more worried about her than about Drake. I do wish he'd remembered that point when talking to his parents.
The main point I've been wanting to make was that Lucius doesn't seem to think Draco can raise his own kids, that he isn't a good father. 'Everything must be done Lucius' way and of course Draco's too young to even have a family, so I, with more experience must constantly undermine his efforts.' Well, if he never gets the experience, how's he to learn? Things are vastly different from when the two of them were boys. For one, neither Angel and Drake are only children, and they are twins with differing personalities. Draco's doing a pretty good job figuring out how to handle the two, as well as coping with a pregnant wife that doesn't know her own limits. Speaking of which, if she was at the Burrow, how'd the rest of the dinner party get finished? I had figured when she was absently replying to Draco's questions she was really planning to leave. Draco is too gullible- he should have planned something that would have required her to be in his sight all day. *shakes head*
Anway, sorry about the exposition in the middle. That was just my thought process on the whole thing.

Author's Response: You're right, Lucius wanted to irritate Draco, but aside from that the children were expected to put in some form of appearance so everyone (especially their godparents) could say hello. Draco just didn't expect them to join them for pre-dinner drinks and he was worried about what Ginny might think (like he'd set it up or something).

Angel can manipulate anyone, Lucius is just an easy target, because he's incapable of saying no to her and if she spills a tear it just about causes him physical pain. However, Draco has no woken up to that fact, so he'll be stepping in more and more (this will not please Lucius either).

Draco and Lucius could clear the air between them if Narcissa stepped back and let them do it, but she's very much for keeping the peace and yelling at each other is rather unbecoming, in her opinion.

You know Ginny will be the first to bring up Draco's behavior at the dinner party, so he has his counter-attack ready. They've both been naughty, so he's hoping that will balance things out. The boys did feel bad for getting him in trouble, because they know that type of look generally means their partner is planning some form of painful torture to even things up.

Don't tell Ginny, because she'd kill me or hex me or something, but she is her mother's daughter *wink*

Lucius doesn't really think that anyone who doesn't do things his way is doing it wrong. It's something he's going to have to get over, because Draco is growing more confident in his own parenting skills everyday and won't be tolerating his father airing his opinion, let alone trying to force his ways upon him.

As for Ginny getting the dinner party finished… There wasn't that much to do, because the house elves do it all and all she does is make certain they're doing what they're supposed to be doing.

Thanks for such a long review! It was great to have something to think about :)

It took me some time to finally read the new chapter, but now that I've done that: I just love it!
The dinner party was just fun to read! I love it how Draco, Ron and Harry (and in this case: the others too) interact.
And I somehow just knew that Ginny went to see her mother. As if Draco could keep her away.
I'm so curious what will happen next. Especially with Ginny visiting Molly without telling Draco and Draco drinking way to much at that dinner party.
Don't let us wait too long, cause I really, really want to know what's going to happen! :)

Author's Response: Thank you :) Draco was definitely kidding himself when he thought she'd stay away from Molly, and he realizes that now. Well, they were both naughty so unless they want to deal with their own behavior, they're going to have to approach the matter carefully. There's just one thing Draco has on his side: Ginny doesn't know that he knows she went to the Burrow ;)

I can't wait for the next chapter! Besides Draco's hilarious adventures in babysitting, I also enjoyed the portrayal of Molly Weasley. She reminds me so much of my late mother-in-law during her hospital stays. Granny (which all the in-laws called her) would sigh and whisper that she didn't want to be any trouble, no one should bother themselves to visit her, but then she would expect everyone to visit, every day. It wasn't easy since we all worked and had families. One Thanksgiving, she was in the hospital with pneumonia. Like Molly, she had been ailing for a few days and didn't tell anyone. She almost had to be dragged to the hospital. Once there, she insisted that the family gather at her house for the traditional turkey dinner, even though she couldn't attend. It was such a mess. Instead of Ginny's cake-baking, I was assigned to cook the turkey. Yeah, right. I bought a cooked one and no one ever knew. I hope to see the next chapter soon! It brightens my day and my mood to read your stories.

Author's Response: Thank you :) Molly is very much like your late mother-in-law! I actually get the job of supplying the family with the 'traditional' family fare whenever we have a gathering, because my mother-in-law has passed on, and I got the idea from there ;) So glad to know this doesn't only happen to me! The next chapter is practically writing itself, so hopefully it will be ready soon :)

yeah, when you think about it, he doesn't seem to get dunk often at all! somehow it just seemed more often...lol

Author's Response: No, he doesn't, but he does have a drink often :) Mind you, that's just the way he was brought up - pre-dinner drinks, wine with dinner, brandy with the men afterwards type scenario ;)

I think what I like most about this chapter is that both Draco and Ginny have done things to make the other one mad, but they both manage to put their anger off for the sake of the party. And the party was lots of fun too--it's nice to see everyone getting along so well. (And especially to see Pansy's interactions with Ron!) Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: Thanks! Neither of them are willing to ruin the evening with personal matters, especially not in front of everyone, because that would be considered gauche ;) If it had been a typical Weasley family lunch, however, Draco would not have been safe.

Oh, Dragonsangel! From beginning to end, a fantastic chapter! I giggled a LOT at all of the men getting sloshed and the women making fun of them. Poor Draco will have to pay for his behavior eh? Lovely! Thanks for the very satisfying update!

Author's Response: Thank you *g* When men get sloshed we're supposed to make fun of them, aren't we? *smirk* Draco will most certainly pay for his behavior, but he does have a little ammunition up his sleeve as well ;)

I was so happy to see you had updated. Great chapter as usual. I cant wait for the next one. I was hoping someone would slip about the Quibbler artical. I just love Angel and Lucius, gotta love the little diva. Also Ron and Pansy. The next chapter should be interesting. I predict a good argument comming.

Author's Response: Thank you :) The Quibbler article is coming soon (that chapter is written, I'm just waiting for the time line to catch up *wink*). Angel has Lucius wound so tightly around her little finger that the man hardly dares to breathe without permission ;) I love writing Ron and Pansy! There will be more of them in the next chapter :)

Love the chapter! It seems that Draco gets drunk far too often....lol! I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Thanks! Umm... Draco's been drunk a total of three times in over 77 chapters, which is a huge change from his life prior to Ginny and the twins, where alcohol induced memory loss was commonplace for him ;)
