I'm afraid I have to offer one correction, since you're obviously going to a great deal of effort to get your historical references and names acccurate. You describe Ba Li Nu as wearing a "kimono", however, kimono are strictly Japanese, and Ba Li Nu is a Chinese name. Given the long-seated prejudgices and tensions between the Chinese and the Japanese, even today intermarriage is almost unheard of. The traditional garment of a Chinese woman would be a cheongsam. Kimono in Japanese literally means "thing to wear" and has a HUGE amount of cultural significance. You can actually infer details about season of the year, marital status, relative age of the intended wearer, and formality of the situation it was intended for simply by looking at details on a kimono. The most formal kimono even have family crests printed on them.

Hi, I first read your story on fictionalley, but since switched here as the updates were more recent.
This story is perhaps the best I've read in a long time. I especially loved the way you kept Draco in character. That's what I feel. He's snobbish, arrogant, aristocratic, every bit the prick we learn of him in JK Rowling's series.
I'm really curious to know how he's going to make Ginevra pay for her deeds (or misdeeds), as it would be doubly hard to do so when she's pregnant. Well, he can't harm her, he need to have his heir., but he couldn't possibly let her off scott-free, so...
On a slightly different note, I admire your choice of names for the original characters. Haha, they sound pure-blooded-ish enough.
That and as the story climaxes, I look forward to reading your next chapter, soon! :D

So far, he isn't bent on getting revenge on Ginny--he just wants to know who she is and, consequently, why she's been trying to backstab him. The baby is a way to get her to reveal her true identity through a series of mistakes. What he will do when he finds out who she is, well... That's another story. I just found your story tonight, and I have to say it's an excellent read, very well written and very well in detail. I look forward to many more chapters, and finding where things are going to go since Ginny is in fact pregant. Will she call off Hermione, and not go thru with her plans in distroying Draco's life? Man I hope not, but I guess we have to wait and see.

Would it be possible for you to post a small family tree with the next chapter? I'm starting to get lost with all of the other names. It's a beautiful story, but I'm sure I'm missing parts of it by not understanding who everyone is and how they're related. Thanks!
Author's Response: I'll have a family tree up as soon as possible, though, quite honnestly, the family isn't even THAT important. I just like imagining there's a story behind the story, kind of like the complexities behind Dean Thomas' character that JKRowling, so far, has been forced to leave out of her books. Just think of the Umayyads as being a bunch nof cousins, aunts, and uncles, some of them nastier than the rest, the essential ones being Cyrus and Izha. Thanks a lot for reviewing :D

Wow, i really love your story so far. the plot is really thickening, and Ginny's getting in WAY over her head. I feel kinda bad for Draco though..oh, wait, he killed all the Weasleys. Now that there's a child involved Ginny's just going to get sucked in harder. You've got me hooked, can't wait for more!

I think it's amazing how much effort you put into your chapters. Im getting all confused with the different names and who belongs to which family and that Izha girl, Riddle's daughter just threw me. Blew my mind.
That scene between Riddle and Haiwa. Kindda sweet until you remember that THIS IS LORD VOLDEMORT and then it gets creepy. Like really. I would like more background on their relationship!
I forgot that Tom Riddle is human. It's Voldie that's the monster, due to the splitting of his soul. Urgh.

Author's Response: Yeah, I know, sorry for the confusion. I like complicated families, even when they are useless to the plot progression. You only need to remember Izha and Cyrus :) If you want more background on their relationship, feel free to write it! I want more too, though I haven't imagined it too extensively, and can't really think where it would fit into the story. Then again, this has never bothered me, lol. I truely enjoyed this chapter. I truley enjoy this story! lol. I've been asking myself for the past 3 or 4 chapter's when she was going to figure out that she was pregnant! Jeez, it didn't even take me that long. Well actually, it did. One of my friends at the last place I worked asked me if I was and I told her no, there was no way and she told me I better take a test because supposidly I was having major mood swings so I did and, I was! hehe, nevermind. Some women are just clueless to what their bodies are telling them! lol. Great job! Keep those chapters a comin!

Now, this chapter really drives home what kind of person your Draco actually is, and makes Ginny's plans to destory him much more understandable. Sentences like THIS:
"So?" Draco said. "He's her husband, isn't he? What happened to right of life and death over one's woman?"
made me want Ginny to open a nice big can of whoop-ass on him. ARGH! You've done a great job of leading us to understand what really divides this Draco and this Ginny; so often it's a dumb misunderstanding that could be easily cleared up in a couple of sentences, but not here. It will be fascinating to see how this gets developed.

What a way for Draco to break the news to Ginny! I can't wait to see how she reacts. I have to admit that I am completely at sea amid all of Draco's relatives. The thought of Tom Riddle having a daughter is creepy. I'm glad, though, that she's turned out to be such a genuinely kind person, although she bears the scars of her father's wrongdoings.
Cyrus is still an ass, but it's nice to see that most of Draco's other family members aren't so bad.
As the chapters come, I get more and more nervous about what Draco will do when he finds out what Ginny's done to him...

WOW - that was some chapter...
Every time u kinda guess how things are gonna go u throw in some more twists and characters. Again, your attention to detail is just astounding… I can't even imagine how much time and effort you must have put into researching this.
On a different note, i feel really sorry for Blaise... think it would have been easier for him to get Shehzin himself, rather than get stuck in a debt like this... wonder if he would still offer to do this, had he known what he was in store for... or did he already know....

Hopefully I can tie the threads by the time the end of the story rolls by 0:) Blaise didn't have the presence and notability required to get Shehzin himself.
