Youu pushed alittle to far with the last few chapters of this story.
while draco overpowering neville is fine, hermione is pushing it and ginny to boot is over the top. between hermione's knowlage of oddball spells and ginnys temper one of them would have held him off, even if only for a minute.
Author's Response: That's a fair concern... However, Hermione hasn't been using magic in a 'fighting' setting for a long time and did obviously not expect Draco -- why would she have had her wand at the ready? As for Ginny, Draco does not overpower her so much as he threatens her -- would you risk the lives of your friends, and maybe the chance of raising your own children, by failing to control your fiery temper? I know I wouldn't!

Well, I have to say you succeeded in creating an atmosphere like the one in Gladiator. That's one of my favorite movies, and that one scene is a particular favorite of mine (perhaps because it makes my emotions go on the roller coaster of their lives). And I believe you've created that feeling.
I love the Draco you've written, and I can't decide if this scene makes him sexier than hell or scarier than shit. Maybe both. Your skill is marvelous, either way.

Love the story. But Draco is in some place too dark for me to enjoy it properly. I know that when you love someone, you are willing to do anything if you that someone is threatened. And Draco´s been deceived, his wife ran away with his unborn children, and he´s angry. Still to even say that he would kill Hermione´s son, even if I really know he wouldn´t do that (he´s too fond on kids right now), makes him really creepy. I hope beyond hope, you have really thought this through (I know you had) and that he´ll come back to his happy place and work things out with Ginny (ASAP...I can stand those two angry at each other, but when one is oppressing the other, that really anguish me a lot). It doesn´t seem that way right now and I´m kind of begging you to tell me it´s going to be ok at the end... PLEASE??? My favourite scene: Ginny breaking things all over the place because she´s jealous and Draco taking the mirror of her hands.

I just discovered this amazing story last night...and I am done with it already. I absolutely adore it, so much so that I cannot go without 5 minutes of thinking of the charactes. What do I love the most? It's human. Ginny nor Draco are one-dimensional. Ginny is out for revenge. I like that you didn't have her magically fall in love with him, forgive his errs, confess her schemes, and have them live happily ever after. I also adore how Draco, althouth attached to Ginny, isn't blinded by love. He is who he is. In the last chaptere, when he threatened everyone that Ginny loved, I believed it. He would kill them if he had to.
I also want to applaud your diligence with the history and mythology. I'm actually learning a great deal, and couldn't be happier.
Please update as soon as humanly(perhaps magically) possible, as I menioned before, every 5 minutes I wonder what will happen. You cannot make me wait too long, my life will seemingly stop, and I have midterms at the moment.
Once more, I adore this story....
Author's Response: Thanks a lot for your review :) I'm glad to see that you interpreted everything as I hoped readers would in my wildest dreams! While I'm aware of the short-comings of my characters and the excessive facility of some developments, I am planning on going back and working on these--though I have to finish writing the story first, right? That being said, I have midterms, too, and I haven't written much in a while. Hopefully Spring break will originate one or maybe two chappies :) Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to review!
