I really hope Nott's not a true Death Eater, considering all his concern for Ginny. Or is he really only interested in getting her into bed? That would seem more fitting, him being a Slytherin.

haha! "leaving draco's heart nestled at her throat". how strange...

Wonderful bit of writing.

~WOW... I really love this story. They were so close this time.~

Fantastic chapter. What is going on with Theodore Nott? I can't figure what he's about. Congratulations on making him both creepy and attractive.

wow!
I'm stunned by all its sparkliness and fabulous qualities... Very good chapter, it made me happy :)
Theo Nott is becoming more and more... odd. Is there any way he's just being paranoid, sneaky and crazed? Because, though it's clear they're in for some, difficulties... I'd hoped there wasn't deep, psycological reasoning behind his cryptic warnings...
Can't wait for the next chapter!

OMG I loved this chapter. You have a talent for wibderful closing lines. Then she returned the locket to her robe and shut both in her trunk…leaving Draco’s heart nestled at her throat. I mean honestly that was one of the best ending of a chapter line I've read so far. Superb!

loved it! can't wait for more... very interesting indeed.

wow that was good! Hmm, I wonder about Nott's intentions there..guess we'll find out! still wonderfully magnificent!
Name: Blueeyedbrunette reviewed Jewels and Disruption on Feb 24, 2007 08:23 am
brilliant....but does ginny feel the same???
Name: Mynuet reviewed Jewels and Disruption on Feb 24, 2007 06:24 am
Great chapter, but what I found most interesting was Nott's line, "you’re as trapped as the rest of us.” So he's feeling trapped? Is the game he's playing with Ginny because he wants to get out and sees her as a tool? I can't wait to find out!

Author's Response: Kudos to Mynuet! I was wondering if anyone would catch that line. As for your guess...well, I suppose only time will tell!

I love it when Ginny is oblivious, and I love it even more when Draco is tortured. I'm looking forward to finding out what Pansy has to say so desperately, and how Nott is going to effect the outcome of the story. Thanks for the update!

Darn Pansy and her meddling ways! He was going to kiss her and Pansy screwed it up. *pout

The unrequited love (lust?) is killing me! I did like this chapter, especially Draco's emotions (almost) running out of control, the neclace, and the bit with Nott at the end. I'm waiting with bated breath for the next update!

i know i've reviewed at ff.net already, but i read it again after i came back from the gym, and i couldn't stop thinking bout it.
first i thought it was because i had this funny feeling during the last days that it was spring already(it seems that germany doesn't get any winter this year, it's already quite warm and we had like one day with snow) and i just liked the progress of the story and the description of the summer rain smell... but it still doesn't leave me alone and i guess it's because this has to be one of the best chapters you've written so far. actually i am quite into the idea of draco being in love with ginny and ginny being oblivious to all of it. i loved that in "dancing on rooftops" as well.. and this chapter was not just draco accepted his feelings but also acts on it. it's just sweet.
and you write that so well! it's sooo different to all the other stories out there.
okay, now i should stop cause i start rambling^^

Yay for updates! I love how secretly mushy Draco is. :) I won'der if he'll ever let her know. Hopefully Ginny wises up and they get together and live happily ever after....as likely as that is...

Yay! She didn't put Harry's locket back on!

OMG OMG OMG I loved that chapter. Damn you pansy...I wanted them to kiss, Oh well maybe next time. What is Nott playing at? Isn't he a Death Eater? I hope you can update again soon.

I don't know why I have an alert at FF but always read your stories here. Anyways, LOVED this chapter. Totally DG, my favourite!! And sigh, what I wouldn't give to receive a necklace from Draco. And have him put it on! GAH! I LOVED Draco's POV. *smiles fondly at him*

And that bit with Nott? Ah, I didn't see that one coming. Is he for real? Or is he just playing the game? Interesting turn. And I bet Pansy has some interesting news too.

Cheerio!

Jon better watch himself now that he's obviously is spending more time with Naomi. He's allowing her to occupy his time when he's suppose to be working Draco, but it seems as though his plan did actually work. He got Draco to fall in love with Ginny. I know the DE's are watching Jon's every move so I wonder how Voldie will feel about him slacking on the job. The almost kiss, how I hate/love those because it leaves you waiting for more. I'm actually happy that you didn't do the kiss so early in the story now because it's had a nice long buildup. I like Nott, he's very sly, what in the hell is he up to? Either way, I enjoyed it. GJ as usual.

Nott is officially FAR too creepy for...for me, I spose =P

KEEP THEM COMING! That's what I thought. xP I LOVE this story and I can't wait for more, seriously.

And ...less Nott. Or explaination of Nott (which, yaknow, could mean killing him. I'd be okay with that. People that...creepy need to...go away, lol) And I LOVED the More-Pierce thing, that was awesome, I hope he's really keeping up with Naomi, she's a sweetie.

Although I have a feeling that if Ginny's life is ever threatened, Pierce had better watch out for Naomi, cause...ooo, Draco will be *pissed*.

XD I can't wait to read more!

Excellent. I can't wait for the next chapter! Nice D/G interaction here.
Name: imelda reviewed Jewels and Disruption on Feb 22, 2007 04:17 pm
Amazing! You made my night with this quick update!

At the same time...ohhhh how frustrating. You brought us SO close to a kiss, and yet we still have no idea how Ginny would react and what it would mean or even, really, if Draco would ever do it.

Sigh. This chapter just tantalized in so many, many ways. First of all, Pierce. So he's off gadding about with his lady friend, is he? What is he THINKING? (Incidentally, I can't actually tell whether I'm worried about him or want him to suffer. Sigh.)

Second, *what* does Pansy want to talk about??? I was so sure you'd let us--and Ginny--eavesdrop on that one!

Third, of course, is the ever-present and INFURIATINGLY mysterious Nott. WHAT is his deal? Why doesn't he just TELL us? Can't YOU just tell us? Pretty please? And what a frickin' talent that boy has for dodging a question--"it can't be friendly interest?" "I never said Draco, did I?" In neither case did he respond directly to what Ginny was saying/asking. Argh!

I almost feel I would have been better off waiting after the last chapter, this one was so tantalizing!

Oh, as for a bit of criticism--I am not sure why, but some of Draco's sort of urges towards Ginny seemed kind of mechanical. It was much more believable during the moments when they got close, or into an uncomfortable situation, than when he was just admiring her from afar.

In any case, poor, wooby Draco. I feel so bad for him. Ergo, I LOVED that Ginny kept his necklace on. I wonder if she will clue in, now that he has given her jewelry? I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't--girls tend to be a bit clueless about the gifts guys give them, don't we?

Thanks so much for updating! You can trust that I will be in an agony of impatience until the next chapter.

Oooh, so close, Draco, so close. Great chapter!
Name: Caroline reviewed Jewels and Disruption on Feb 22, 2007 02:56 pm
The last sentence was great! And what is up with Theodore Nott? I really can't figure him out. Draco giving her the necklace just because he wants to, aww!
