Oh, this chapter was great! I'm not sure if I've ever reviewed this before, but the fic, and the one before it, are some of my favorite D/G stories. I laughed so hard when Ginny found the stuffed dragon and the color-enchaning shampoo! Hilarious!

Despite all of the trouble that Ginny's having with her family, this makes me wish it were Christmas right now, even though it's not even September yet. Lovely, scenic chapter.

Ohhhh wie geil ist das denn! hihi ich finds echt cool das ich mal etwas von einer deutschen lese. repekt, dein english ist, hmmm sagen wirs mal so, ich hätt nie gedacht das du deutsch wärst. Aber es freut mich ehrlich das du fanfiction schreibst über draco und ginny, ich liebe die beiden :O) ! wie kommst du eigentlich zum schreiben? Ach und WOHER kannst du so gut english ? Ich mein ich lese schon seit langem fanfiction aber die deutschen varianten gefallen mit nicht so gut wie die englishen, und ausserdem gibts im englishen mehr stroys über die beiden. Also ich warte auf dein nextes kapitel und freu mich schon.

Author's Response: Tja so gehts mit auch - ich les nicht gern auf deutsch, irgendwie gibt die Sprache das einfach nicht her, über ein englisches Buch zu schreiben. Außerdem ist, wie Du schon sagst, die Auswahl in englisch einfach viel größer. Ich schreib schon seit einigen Jahren, hab eigentlich in anderen fandoms angefangen, und seit 2004 bin ich HP verfallen :) Für mich ist das Übung, denn ich studier Anglistik und da ist jede Ausrede recht, mal was zu Papier zu bringen. Danke für die Komplimente! Ich freu mich total! Bald mehr :)

I love Christmasy, sweet, fuzzy, playing in the snow chapters.

I kind of like how Draco wants Ginny to be happy even if it's going to cheese of Narcissa.
Great Christmas gift, too, by the by. How can she turn down a broom? (and I loved it that he let her hit the wards - very Draco-esque)

Author's Response: *g* I love sweet and fuzzy, too :) And yes, Draco has his moments, doesn't he, when he's actually...well, cute. One of his strengths is that he is so very perceptive about others' feelings and weak spots, and imo, that speaks of more sensitivity than Draco would probably like to admit to *g* He cares about Ginny now. :) But of course that doesn't mean there won't be trouble again, hee! huii its me curly from germany, so i like the outcome of this story so far, its like narcissa, drake and gin will overcome their fears and sorrows together, the reader had the feeling that the three of them were like a family at the end of this chapter.
And what i really like is how narcissa tricked the weasleys hihihih, typical slytherinsh! but im nosy of what narcissa and lucius talked when she was by him in prison.

P.S. You asked from where i come, i´m from Münster dont know if you know that town in Germany, but of friend of mine comes also from trier!
Author's Response: *g* Narcissa is tolerating Ginny for now, but it won't always be as peaceful as this at the Malfoys'. I love writing conflict too much :) As to Lucius and Narcissa, I'm thinking about writing a little scene showing their meeting in Azkaban, but since that won't strictly be D/G fic, you'll have to check my livejournal for it. :)
And of course I know Münster! I'm German too, after all :) Hi!

I was in tears, thank you for the lovely chapter. I am glad to see that they have "peace" or at least the peace they have in their loves. They are too cute. I was crying with Narcissa and Draco, I think they need Ginny in their lives - you are doing TOO good a job with each chapter and I am waiting for another great one. I cannot wait to see how the wedding or even the thought of a child entering their lives along with Lucius. Is there a possibility that Lucius will be a part of the family again?
Author's Response: Yes, sometimes they are cute :) I like writing them that way, and some fluff was overdue. But there's a lot more to come that's not quite as nice and stressfree *g* And yes, Lucius will definitely make an appearance - the fic wouldn't be complete without him butting in, too, heh. WHat a sad chapter! I hated to see how everyone turned on her and especially ROn, for making Ginny decide between the family and Draco. I was in tears! I do hope that things resolve shortly. They deserve to go thru one thing with happiness, possibly a pregnancy would make the others see the errors of their way? Love it!

That was beautiful and painful. Haha, beautiful because it was painful perhaps. I exhibit a bit of sadism when it comes to Draco I'm afraid. But in any case, the shattered music box was wonderful. Looking for more DG interaction though.

Oh gosh, that last scene with the music box gave me chills. He repaired it and yet, it made no sound... Very metaphorical. Anyhoo, I liked the way you described Draco's return to Azkaban and how it was affecting him. It was very realistic. I can't wait to see Ginny in the next chapter, I have a feeling she's avoiding Draco for a reason...

Finally a good d/g story!! I loved Break in the Sun as well! That whole first fight in the bar and the alley was BEAUTIFUL!! There arguing is spot on. Your portrayal of their characters is spot on, from Ginny's stubborness to Malfoy's arrogance and possessiveness.
I'm really looking forward to reading this fic! Rotten conniving parents!! I'm not completely sure Draco would go against his father's wishes either. How long til the next few chapters will be posted?

The next chapter will be out soonish, when I have time to edit it again, and then there's one more that's almost finished, I think, and after that, I'll have to hold off posting for a little while till I can finish more. Ah. Never try to stop a determined Ginny Weasley. Although the ploy that Narcissa, Molly, and Arthur have come up with might work... Draco still admires his father enough that he might heed him - if not out of fear.
Either way, what I liked most about this chapter was that Narcissa seemed very in character. It would have been a bit unnatural for her to have agreed so readily to Draco and Ginny's engagement. She behaved as I would expect her to: calm enough in front of Ginny, though not necessarily gushing with joy, and then cutting toward Molly and Arthur.
As I said before, nice job.

Again - poor Ginny. himm... didn't expect Mr. & Mrs. Weasley to stoop quite so low... wonder if Draco will have to balls to stand up to his father...
