I adore this story!!
This is the second time I've read it, and this time this reference caught my eye: 'the 'abominable snowman' in the old Bugs Bunny cartoons who wanted a bunny rabbit, saying, "I'll hug him, and squeeze him, and call him George."' Bugs Bunny is actually referencing John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" here, and I think it's great that authors //can// appropriate outside of fanfiction!
Please don't stop with the Princess Bride references!!

Oh man...I really am terrified of birds and deffentally caught the Hitchcock ref. I also like the Peter Pan refrences ;-)
Author's Response: I think seagulls are the worst. Where I live they're always dashing crabs against the pavement in order to swoop down and eat them. The way they rip off a bit of flesh and then look at you....it's enough to make you run screaming, lol.

i love this fic! i'm so hooked it's not even funny! i can't wait for you to post the next chapter!! please update as soon as you can ;) although i have no idea how you've been churning them out like you have, i at least appreciate your feeding my addiction! lol!
