Ok, it's not as bad (in an angsty way) as I thought it would be... I've been reading through your stories and I left this one to last as I don't normally read angst - while there are some sad and horrible things happening in this story you don't go in to too much detail which is good for me - the story explains the way the main characters are feeling without making me cry over my keyboard!
I like the way you gently have Ginny realising that lots of the people are there because they felt they had no other choice (apart from death obviously) and they aren't all power grabbing maniacs!
Looking forward to an update (on any of the stories really!)

Author's Response: I believe there are a few Weasleys still left out there. I didn't specify what happened to Hermione because I don't like gory details. Suffice it to say that she was abused in some manner.
Not that I particularly like what happened to Hermione, or what it implies... I'm definitely glad that Snape is handling it the way he is. And at least this way Ginny can be close to Hermione and not really have to hide talking to her. No, Hermione won't really have any clue who she is, but I think it will at least ground Ginny to have her there. I'm also pretty excited about the progression, even though it's slow, in Draco and Ginny's relationship. And I find myself loving Narcissa more with every chapter you write :) Keep up the good work!!

Because I knew what this chapter might entail, I made sure to re-read the chapter previous to it. Just as before, I was left with goose bumps up and down my arms! This chapter was as with most chapters in this story a mixture of pleasure and pain. On one hand you have the blossoming physical relationship between Gin and Draco which was the pleasure and then you rocked us with the pain. It is sad that Ron is presumably dead and Hermoine is just a shell of her former self. You continue to torture Ginny by her own decisions...befriending someone who she can never truly be a friend with. I am anxious to read what you have in store for us next.

I'm not sure quite what to say. On the one hand I rather selfishly am glad that the relationship between Ginny and Draco is still progressing. However, there's something saddening in that Ginny seems to accept that such a horrific thing has occurred and /not/ blame it on Draco for having some part in it; the Ginny from before this ordeal would not hesitate in expressing her disgust.
By the way, I particularly liked Narcissa in this chapter; her anxiety at Ginny's disposition and amusement at the kiss shared between Draco and Ginny at the end were well written. Also, the tunnelled view of the world that Ginny has at the beginning as she's grieving was very powerful.
