Thus far, I've silently and carefully been stepping my way through your story, searching for my feelings on it. I'm utterly revolted at voldemort's new world order, but find my shell thinning at Draco's gentle touch toward Ginny. But what got me, what made it feel necessary to share with you an opinion, is this scene. When the HP series began it was Ginny I favored, with her quick wit, sure fire spells, and fast tongue to compliment an admirable backbone. But as I've grown older, its Hermione I've grown to love through and through and I've found myself favoring D/G as my escape from normal ship. But I'm very carefully drawn into this story, as its fantastically written, and evenly paced, and grateful for it. Its making me truly think again about all of the intricacies of the world HP exists in, and the possibilities, good and evil, that it offers. But you've made me feel, fully, strong emotions twice in your story: Ginny's understanding that Hermione would only be with Snape over Ron's dead body, and your bright but chipper Hermione here. It made my stomach churn to think that all that was left of Hermione was her brilliance, and somehow, a sense of optimism. I hate it. I hate everything about it; and for that I am impressed above all. It takes a lot to make me hate Hermione. I'm floored.

Poor Hermione. I'm glad she's happy and glad she has Snape - and really, *really* glad she doesn't remember losing Ron (he's still alive, right? I know, wishful thinking...), but I hate seeing her drinking the Voldemort KoolAid like this. I really hope she gets her memories back at some point.
Lucius can be such an ass at times. He has so many different sides to him. But that's what I like about him too, you'll never know what to expect out of him. GJ.

This is such a great story! I had to read the entire thing in one sitting. I think it's wonderful how you integrated the love into their relationship. So many stories focus on the passion in the romance, rather than the actual feelings that create that passion. Your take on Draco and Ginny is fantastic. I can't wait for more!

Draco knows that their marriage is as real as his parents' one. I think that sometimes he needs to assure Ginny of it, because it's understandable if she has doubts seeing in which circunstances they fall in love.

Well, Hermione seems....a lot OOC in this story and then...not really. She is still pretty smart but her comment on Voldie is not what I expected. But, I know, she had to change to live in Voldie's society. As for Severus/Hermione? Heh. I've read some stories that contain this ship. I find it alright. And Hermione's theory of Snape falling for her seems plausible. Well, I can't wait for more, that's all I have to say.
Wipes at a tear for poor old Severus. I like that Draco went to confront his parents. I couldn't see him do something like that to her. Is she really, really Leo's mother and who was it that actually was his mother if that makes sense. I think that Hermione will win this one easily if Voldemort allows it to happen. Will she ever remember the truth of her past? Happy writing. :)
