i would really love to see the end of this fic... especially hear what draco had to say about his first encounters with the littlest weasel. hearing how blaise put his observations makes me interested to see how draco explains them away. lol plz finish this. i kno its a really old fic but i think its a real gem.

Wow, I really, really like this. It is completely different to any other HP fanfiction I have ever read and that makes it really special and makes me appreciate it all the more!
Little question though. In Molly's memory you said that her first memory of Ginny was when she had just found out Ginny was a female.
Then, in Percy's memory you said that he remembered Ginny coming home from the hospital and Molly and Arthur changing al the colours etc on Ron's old hand-me-downs because Ginny had turned out to be female and they hadn't known this and were a bit shocked.
This just confused me slightly because did the parents find out the gender before or after the birth?
This doesn't matter at all, I just thought that you would like to know. Fabulous story.

Author's Response: Did I really? *blushes* I will have to re-read and see if I can fix that.

This is such a powerful story, it exudes the difficulties and love of such a large family, the dynamics of their relationships and the worth of a woman that is in the twilight of her life. I read part of this on ff, and I am so glad to see more of it. I smiled, my eyes teared, then I smiled again. It's amazing.

Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much for saying that. It is reviews like this that keep me going when I reach the point where I swear all that I write is crap.

This is an amazing story! I wonder what you are going to do now that you're done with the Friends and the Family? Are you going to start off with her at school? or her marriage with Harry? I can't wait to find out. ^_^

Author's Response: Early Memories is not yet finished. There is still Children and Husbands to get through. The rest of the sections are as follows: Childhood (n chapters), Hogwarts (seven chapters), My First Marriage (four chapters), My Second Marriage (four chapters), Being a Mother (four chapters), Being a Grandmother (eleven chapters) and Facing Death Once More (n chapters)

oh man, is this ever good..thanks so much. what insight and great characters. so much back story and plot points to draw from where will you begin? i do have one question; how are the dead able to re-tell their stories? or did i miss something. looking forward to reading more from you.

Author's Response: Ginny isn't dead. She is writing an autobiography. This book is pretty much just her at the end of her life putting together the bits and pieces of it.
