Wow! That was intense. I'm pretty much overwhelmed here.
I really liked that your fic is so realistic. I can easily picture that something like this could have happened but was just not written down. (I live in denial concerning the epilogue). Truly wonderful!!

I've read this before but i never had the time to review so i just wanted to say that i absoluetly adore this piece! It is so eloquently written and i love it! This is the kind of writing i want to do and i hope i'll be as good as you one day! So congrats for a great piece of writing!!!

I am very touched. I like this version of Draco, very mature, responsible and yet completely in character.

This was very interesting. Was the quote real? I love how Ginny shifted it around. (I did notice you used fridge instead of frigid. You might want to fix that. It confused be because a fridge is slang for refrigerator.)
Author's Response: Yup, the French man and his quote were real, although I don't know where I found him, now that I think about it. I'll go in and check out the refrigerator issue :-) Thanks for letting me know,and for your review!

Author's Response: Thank you :) When I first saw that quote, it frustrated me because I didn't think it was right. So, I went around trying to fix it :-P Of course I'd try to chnage the words of great philosophers! I also had some fun with Draco in this peice. Too often, I see him turned into a softy, and while I think that, okay MAYBE that potential is there, but it would only bearound children, and possibliy Ginny. I love trying to do a slightly different varriation of Draco every time I wirte him. :-)

wow - i'm speechless; that was beautiful... it was almost as that could have happened in the books... i loved how you turned the usual cliche of draco saving his mother into draco saving ginny... really great work! :D
Author's Response: Thank you :-) I do, normally have him have dne it to save his mother, but just this once, I thought I'd mix it up a bit ;-). I wanted it to be almost canon like too, because it is something I do not do. Thank you very much for your review!

This is pretty excellent. I particularly like the way you portray Lucius - rather than being inherently evil, his descent is gradual, and all the more heartbreaking for it.

I love the ending and how it is roundabout... Is the quote real or did you make it up?
Author's Response: It's real, the origional one anyway, from the French man, forgive me, I cannot come up with his name off the top of my head. Ginny's version, however, is mine. As for the ending, I actually tacked that up just before posting, it just seemed like it needed that bit extra. Thanks for your review!
