Author's Response: It's a fine line about keeping Ginny a good character. I really prefer a strong female character, but she's so trapped that it's difficult for her to really do much of anything. In some ways, it's made it a very tough for me to write because she comes across as rather passive. I think that's why her relationship with Draco comes about, because it's her only outlet for rebellion.
im starting to really love this. ginny and draco are gradually falling in love. the hints are subtle and the details are smoothly thrown in there.

Ooh, I was quite upset at stupid Lucius Malfoy, but Draco's plan has left me in quite a good mood. And so spontaneously proposing too...*sighs* tres romantique. Living as Muggles, though, that's an interesting thought. I have a feeling that Lucius might still resurface once again before this is over...great chapter! please update soon!

At first I avoided reading this because usually anything that pairs Lucius with someone in the next generation kinda squicks me. (Thanks for making those parts brief, BTW.) However, my curiosity got the better of me and now I'm excited with this one.
I'm finding I love your Bella here - she's just so gleefully devious and unstable. I'm so relieved that neither Draco, Teddy or his father were harmed; when I was reading, I just KNEW something bad was about to happen to them. Can't wait to see what end you have in store for Lucius...mwahaha! Please update!

I figured I'd lose some potential readers with that pairing but the typical marriage fic seemed so well-used that I felt compelled to do something a bit more original. Bella was a joy to write and I'm so glad you enjoyed her. Lucius is a bit more difficult because his form of madness isn't quite as clear as Bella's.I've got the next chapter back from my beta, but finding the time is a bit difficult.

Ok, I suspected it was Draco from the beginning but wasn't sure. I spent the entire chapter trying to figure out who it was, for a while I thought Harry. But Draco makes sense.

I am SO IMPRESSED!!!!!!! Oh my god!!!! The scene between Draco and Ginny was HEARTBREAKING and so beautiful and made me tear up so much!! It was so well written and there was SO much room for cheese but you didn't let it seep in even a little bit!! And then the anticipation for the battle was so well done!! And BELLA!! I LOVE HER. I love her SO MUCH. I'm so glad you had the battle scene and the Teddy scene because otherwise they would've almost been loose ends but this way it's BRILLIANT!!! Oh my god!! I can't get over it!! My hands were shaking with adrenaline the whole freakin time!!
WELL DONE. And the Snape touch was SO GREAT.

This is actually might be like...the ONLY story that I've been with since the very beginning, and I can't say how GLAD I am because it's amazing. I can't believe it's almost over. I stuck between hoping the ending comes quickly and wanting you to drag it out just so the story lasts longer....

This chapter was worth the wait. It is not easy to write battle scenes but I think you tackled it very well. I was wondering how this was going to pan out and I am not disappointed.
