Unfortunately, my best fic EVER, IMO, is a Lucius/Ginny one-shot, so you won't see it here. I could send it to you, if you'd like! Anyway, I DO have a beta, she's just MIA, as reality has chosen to bite at this time. I'm posting on my own, but I've sent her the chapters already, and she'll be beta-reading them eventually, so what I'll do is switch these with the beta-read ones, EVENTUALLY. God! it must have hurt Ginny so much when she heard Draco doing some other girl even if he didn't care about the girl. And Ginny is so strong! i love her character. and the last statement was so meaningful. That she was in love with him, true, but of the man he was before and not the man he is now.

I can be vicariously brave through her, cause to be honest, I don't know that I could be so strong, if I were in that situation...hehhe. Anyway, the man he is now has a long way to go to become the man she's in love with, but it will happen! ^_^
oh no...i love him right this second!...and their interaction is just so...sounds cheesy, but meant to be! I always expected something like this from the books...and was way dissapointed, your writing makes me imagine the scene as if i was her. XD

I kind of like Draco being a big jerk - I mean, it seems very in keeping with this plot. But he does seem awful pretty ...
Author's Response: I KNOW, this is the first time that I don't like one of my Dracos...I even liked him in "Cruel". It was hard to write him in this chapter, but it was important to create a contrast with the Draco in Ginny's memory and the Draco he is to become.... (ooooh...sounds mysterious!) But don't worry, like I said in my end note, you'll find him adorable in the next chapter, but he will still be Draco-ish! As always, thanks for reviewing! Glad to have you back. ^_^
I really enjoy the story so far. Narcissa seems very out-of-character, but I like this different version of her. Another thing I am rather fond of is that whole Italian origin thing. Well done!

I dunno...I don't think we ever got much insight into her in canon, anyway, all we really know is she adores Draco. I've always thought she was just playing a role. Anyway, Narcissa's character here is the product of twenty years of emotional abuse at the hands of Lucius, so I think her defense mechanism of being always Happy! is understandable. Either way, I'm glad you like my portrayal! The Italian thing I already explained, but I should tell you I ALWAYS characterize Draco as part Veela, half Italian, which makes for a very powerful combination! :D
I have to admit -- I'm having loads of fun reading your fic. I love how the D/G interaction doesn't seem too forced or over-the-top... and yes, your Draco is spot-on! I've read Cruel, and I have to say, you have a knack for creating some great dialogue!
I know I'm reading a great fic if my plotbunnies are restless w/ "this is what's going to happen..." images in my head... and so far, they're all over the place! I await your next awesome chapter -- and a grand appearance from Katalina Lee *pictures Maggie Q*

This story is coming along so wonderfully!!! It's a total guilty pleasure. I love everything about this: Narcissa's edging them on, Ginny's strenth and feistiness, and Draco being Draco. He definitely deserved to be put in his place before they can get back together, I think. But it's fun to see Ginny resist him. :) Great job, as usual.

This is a great story so far. The pacing, the dialogue, everything is so believable. And you can just feel Draco's frustration that he can't remember. I'm a psych major, so I LOVE the memory loss storyline. Well done.

This chapter was awesome, and even though Draco was sort of a jerk-you can't help but love him. Their banter and interaction was wonderful. Draco certainly has no low self-esteem issues;"Don't tell me you never wanted this...". I LOVE IT!!!!! I enjoy reading all your stories and can't wait to read the next chapter.
