Oh...finally the 2nd chapter. I was waiting for this chapter every day...that tell u how much I was looking forward for it :) Great chapter, though i was suprise Astoria leave Draco before he leave her. Maybe she knows Draco is never brave enough to leave her (hints from your other fics). But I agreed with her, to marry to someone who you know doesnt love you, hurt more than anything. I just cant wait to see how draco and ginny handle this news and how their children will cope up together...:)
Author's Response: Sorry about the delays, I'm a student, so making time to write is a bit hard. I should be studying right now, in fact, lol. You're totally right, Astoria in this fic is basically the same character as Astoria in Cowards. As for their children, well, remember this is 10 years after the Epilogue so everyone is basically grown up now. In fact, some of the kids may have some surprises of their own for mom and dad...;)
A very unique take on the Ginny/Draco/Astoria situation seen in many fics. I look forward to seeing how the story progresses. I like how you've portrayed both Draco and Astoria here; Draco's guilt at her knowing of his regard for Ginny was well written.
I have to say that I really, really like your Astoria. That took a lot of guts. I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the story unfolds!

Author's Response: lol, I just realized that I got my chapters confused and accidentally revealed how Harry died in a review for chapter 1. Chapter 3 will discuss his death and explain briefly. The events in the story take place 10 years after the Epilogue. So, Draco is 46, Ginny 45, and Astoria 44. I like Astoria too and I can promise you we definitely haven't seen the last of her!

These lines: "Potter was dead. Ginny was a widow. Ginny was no longer married. And Astoria was leaving him. Astoria was leaving him…because Potter was dead. Astoria was leaving him because Potter was dead and Ginny was a widow." were FABULOUS. Perfectly captured thoughts. Well done!

And, I have a major problem with commas which my fabulous beta Seegrim has to patiently pick through to make my stories readable. I'll do the best I can, but I do promise the story will be finished.
Man I feel terrible for Astoria, she seems like a really nice person in this story... but we all know what's going to be happening in the near future. Poor woman.
